Epic!!! My children were squeally balls of excitement the entire time. You purchase drive thru tickets and the animal pellet food at the entry gate. Then later on when you re walking around, you can purchase $3 tickets to feed the Budgies and $10 tickets to the Prehistoric Exhibit which is very impressive! I suggest going in the morning when the animals are more active and hungry. Plus to beat the heat for summer since you ll be driving around with your windows down.

On September 29th, we visited San Antonio Tx from Houston and had the 2nd visit to this beautiful place after 3 years., unfortunately we did not finish the tour due to a mechanical failure in our car, we were stranded just 3 minutes after entering, we understood that we cannot get out of the car because the animals are loose (not in cages) and it could be dangerous.. But the staff helped us in a professional manner, they helped us and we managed to take our car to the parking area., a man from the staff came to us and persistently tried to get our car working., unfortunately it was something beyond his reach., after a talk with the manager and some of the staff they allowed us to leave our car there., today 9/30/2024 from Houston a tow truck came to bring our car home and try to fix it., I JUST HAVE TO SAY THANKS TO NATURAL BRIDGE WILDLIFE RANCH for their actions in situations like ours., we hope to return soon and finish our tour to see the new attractions they have for all their visitors... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

We visited the ranch and booked the VIP Giraffe and Rhino tour. While you can drive through the ranch in your own vehicle - the tour was absolutely incredible and worth every penny. I highly suggest it. We got to feed the giraffes and spend private time with them. As well as feed and pet the rhinos. It s important to note that they have two Mommas and two babies! Our tour guide , Kenny, drove us through the ranch on a golf cart which was an incredible way to interact with the animals. Feeding was very easy from the golf cart and you feel a completely different connection with the animals. Kenny made our day by being incredible knowledgeable, sharing his love of the area and all of the animals. He made our tour feel like spending time with an old friend checking out their ranch. This was an amazing adventure. We are already planning our next tour.

On a seven day trip to San Antonio we had visited Natural Bridges Caverns. While their we noticed the wildlife ranch next door. We had time to kill before returning home and decided to visit the ranch. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Lots of animal walking right up to the car (expectations of food for them animals) where we could feed them, large variety including young ones, and spectacular scenery included. Highly recommend a drive thru.

This place is quite expensive when compared to a similar experience up north at Topsey. I do believe the Zebras use to be free roaming but it seems they are restricted now to an area behind a gate, probably as a bite risk because people and their kids dont know how to act. I do love the bird encounter and all the animals outside of the drive. I had a great time but remember animals do get food and do need their rest. So when 100 other cars drive through feeding them of course they will be full and not come to your car window. Also, youre not entitled to handfeed or pet the wil animals, make sure to treat them with respect and if they set a boundary respect it.

Not Veteran Friendly/Rude Employee The exhibit itself was a great experience; however, upon reaching the gate to purchase the tickets the following interaction occurred: I noticed they had a veteran discount on tickets and inquired about it with a woman working there. She said sure, just present me with an ID to verify service. I showed her my I.D and because that particular I.D had expired she didnt want to give me my discount. Thats hilarious because I also had my disabled vet license plate on the vehicle I was driving. What? Because my I.D expired suddenly the past has become invalid and it was all a figment of my imagination? I digress, anyways, I ended up showing her my VA card since she was insistent on being difficult and she then asks my passenger if she is a veteran [because the worker is being stingy and only wants to apply it to one ticket since she couldnt get away with denying me outright]. News flash, every place ever has the decency to apply it to the totality of the purchase, not just one ticket on the purchase [maybe advertise that]. And I know the response is going to be some generic our policy is you get it with a valid I.D but youre just being willingly dishonest in the regard that many of the times Ive been discounted without even presenting an I.D and you know damn well that my I.D expiring doesnt change a single thing regarding validating my service.

This wildlife sanctuary is located on the outskirts of San Antonio. There is a famous stalactite cave park next to it. You may wish to play together. There are also package tickets that can be purchased for a cheaper price. This reserve covers an area of about 400 acres, and the park is vast. You can drive there by yourself to experience the fun of Safari. There are more than 500 animals living in this reserve, with 45 different species, including giraffes, zebras, ostriches, camels, antelopes, etc. Visitors can drive through the park, and the animals roam freely within the sanctuary, often approaching vehicles, providing opportunities for close observation and photography.

Well, after not being here in a long time, it is still the same, not much to see. We did the self drive through. There were not that many animals except for the regular ones that they have everywhere. Zebras, deer. It is very expensive considering youre not getting out of your car to interact with the animals, and you have to pay per person. Its totally not worth the price. The only reason we went is because of the recent reviews stating that it was better, but I remember how it was back then, and its still the same.

Our visit to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch in San Antonio was fantastic. The welcoming staff provided all the necessary information for a great experience. Driving through the safari-style park was very enjoyable, allowing us to see a wide variety of exotic animals up close. Feeding the animals from our car was a highlight, and it was fun to see them approach our vehicle. The park was well-maintained, and the animals looked healthy and well cared for. The staffs commitment to conservation and education was evident. Informative signs throughout the park offered interesting facts about each species and their habitats, adding an educational touch to our adventure. Overall, our trip to Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch was a memorable day with friends. We highly recommend it for a unique wildlife experience in San Antonio. Wonderful experience. I cant wait to come back. The animals are very obviously treated well, and that is such a big deal for me. I dont like zoos because the animals are so sad in small cages. These animals run mostly free and get food all day long. They have a mini restaurant for sweets like ice cream. They also have a full restaurant with all sorts of good food. We got the cheeseburger and chili cheese dog. Facility was very clean. Employees were so nice, and you could tell they genuinely love working there. The ostriches and goats are pushy when it comes to food lol. BUY 4 BAGS AT LEAST. Save one bag for the end specifically for the goats. They love to stop your car so youll feed them . I cant say enough good about this place. Definitely go here and spend the day with family and friends.

A fantastic and unique family adventure on a budget and at your own pace. This is much more than a safari. We also did the dinosaur exhibit which was great for a toddler but might bore some of the older kids. The walkable zoo portion is very cool and all the monkeys seemed happy and active. The best part of that was seeing the babies learn to climb and annoy their parents. The actual safari is extensive. I would recommend getting a bag of feed for each child and maybe even a communal extra. There is a stop halfway with desserts and bathrooms. Be careful as one of the small goats did scratch my car with its horns but I can t be too mad at that. It takes us a little over an hour to do the entire trail. We went on a weekday morning and there was absolutely no wait for anything.

Since we are there, everything is very good, the animals are very well cared for and fed all the way, we do not go with any malnourished animals, everything is very good, directions, signs, everything is excellent, the parks, the parking lots, everything is good...only until we get to the bathroom area. A little dirty but understandable because of so many people who attended but when we left we wanted to cool off with a little ice cream that was where the worst was. The TREATMENT of the women who were there was TERRIBLE... poorly faced they answered you in a bad way and literally when delivering My three childrens ice creams were thrown at them, thats why I gave them 2 stars...its no use having the park excellent, everything clean, if you have employees who dont want to be there, I didnt pay attention if only they treat us because were Hispanic. Or everyone else, I hope its not racism because this type of park is maintained by people who also come from different countries and states, not just Texas. I hope you can see my comment (my visit was today, July 14, 2024). )

Let s remember that these are wild animals and we are so lucky to visit a place like this to see so many species. We had an exceptional experience! This is our 4th time visiting the Safari within the last year and a half and every visit is different, but amazing! Today it seemed like every animal we drove by wanted to interact with us and we were smitten, we as adults had the best time and so did my toddler! The dinosaur exhibit was a hit with my toddler, definitely worth visiting, especially if you have kids!

Way overpriced for what you get. 200 dollars for 2 adults, 3 kids and it felt like the Jurassic park movie where they tour and no dinosaurs show up. You can see some of them but they are basically far away. A few linger around the road and will take some food but most of them are just off doing their own thing. Basically just drove around looking at trees. Bird and dinosaur thing are ok but you have to pay extra per person. Would not return.

This place was amazing! I would recommend getting there as early as possible. There are fewer lines and the animals don t like to be out and about during the heat of the day. We went through and stopped at the picnic are to have our sandwiches and snacks. I really enjoyed the birding area where you got to feed them with a popsicle stick covered in birdseed.

My kids love this place a lot. Feeding animals so close was a unique experience for them. The new dinosaur exhibit is worth the price .

Very clean and well managed park with lots to see. Dont expect the redneck experience though. These animals are very well fed, which means that they dont really want what you have., and if its hot, theyll be laying in the shade for the most part. Also, the variety in the safari could be better. There are several deer species, but no bovine that we saw. There are also a few monkeys in enclosures, as well as some birds you can feed.

Deff. Not what it used to be, very over priced now and you barely get to see any animals. Only thing we got to enjoy was the bird aviary and the dinosaur expo but even for that you have to pay extra for person

This place was a whole lot of fun. I have three kids from 4-11 and they all had fun. We did the full package, the birds, the dinosaurs, and the safari. It was incredibly hot that day but we still stayed cool driving in the car. Some of the animals werent very active due to the heat but we could still see them all and fed many others. A really neat part of our summer vacation!

We came here around 2pm on a Wednesday. Lots of deer greeted us but not alot of other animals came to us. I think the animals were hot and trying to hide out in the shade. Its still amazing how you can see animals in their natural habitat and just help feed them. Feed is $5 a bag I only recommend a bag or two. The bird encounter is worth the few extra dollars. We love coming here when visiting San Antonio.

Come during the morning if going during the summer. The animals take shelter in the shade and will not be up close to your vehicle. Glad the zebras are behind fences now. Last time I visited, one stuck his entire head in the car, grabbed my whole food bag and ran off. If you have extra pellets, do the tour again (as long as you do not leave The premises, you can go around again) and throw your pellets to the zebras. They are always hungry.

Our family came here today on June 25, 2024 while on vacation. The young lady at the booth where we got tickets upon entering, was very kind and pleasant she it came to explaining the process and procedures to follow, as we entered the Safari. As we came in and saw many of the staff riding the jeeps. Well one gentleman by the name of Mr.Josh was so kind and gave us very helpful I information about the animals and instructions upon entering. It was very exciting seeing all of the beautiful animals, and being able to feed them. It was a great experience seeing nature, and God beautiful creation. He went above and beyond to help our family feel welcomed. The staff in the trading post store were very kind and welcoming as well. Our family had a great experience this day. We give the staff 5 stars.

Nice, large area. Too expensive for the few different animals. Its understandable that animals cost money, so it was ok for me.
