Great place to go for touring. Fair prices for the ride. You can take your own drinks. There was a 15 minute wait. Employees were very friendly. Definitely recommend to buy tickets in advance. You can buy tickets in advance at Rainforest Cafe. You learn a lot of great historical places. Our tour guide was very funny. Made us feel very welcome. I love the area.

Definitely recommended. At first we had some doubts about whether we should do this at lunchtime when temperatures were currently 34 degrees. We decided to do it and didnt regret it. Since its a river and there were lots of shady spots on the trip, it was very pleasant. The trip takes approximately 35 minutes and costs USD 14.50 excluding taxes. During the trip, our captain told us a lot and in detail about San Antonio and various buildings on the right and left of the river. He was understood well, pleasant English. Easy to understand even for beginners. You can also easily walk along the river on foot. Pleasant paths to walk and plenty of shade. In the evening with lighting it certainly creates a completely different picture than during the day :-) It was really worth it

The go rio san antonio cruise is fantastic. You pay about $15 to go around the river for about 2.5 miles while you listen to the history of the river. You are usually guided by a witty boat captain who mentions some fun facts and interesting details. The wait is usually 15 minutes and you can get your tickets rather quickly. The boats run often throughout the day. Its family friendly and you can take drinks on the boat. Photographers usually take your picture before you get on the boat and when your ride is complete you get to buy a keepsake.

The boat was good, Im a local, so I had done this several times over the years. The best time is during Christmas. The one thing that does Not change is the dirty restroom. The tour itself is not long, 30 minutes, but it is something fun to do while exploring the Riverwalk. Also the tours end wherever you began so dont be afraid that they will end the tour somewhere else.

The River cruise is a must try if you are in San Antonio. Everything was smooth from buying tickets till the check-in at the river walk. The tour guide, Patrick Kelley was awesome! There are multiple pickup spots for the river cruise but the one near the Stargazer Citlali Statue felt a little less crowded for some reason - we don t have much of a wait time. Depending on the season, take a call as to what time you want to do the cruise because doing the cruise during hot summers may be too draining, so you might want to do something after sunset during the hot summers. The tour guide, Patrick Kelley was really really informative with the details throughout the cruise and gave a lot of information about San Antonio which felt WOW ! He even kept it fun and enjoyable. Don t miss the river cruise if you are around here in San Antonio - seems it is one of the top most visited attraction in whole of Texas! Except for the heat, whole experience was awesome! Will try this again next time we visit. And, do get your tickets online to avoid delays and make sure you come in around 30 minutes early. The ticket you buy does not come with a time so you can visit anytime once your purchase the tickets.

Our captain, the tallest boat captain in the city, was unnecessarily rude. He spent half the ride scolding PAYING CUSTOMERS for small talk. Nobody was disturbed by the talking, except the captain. The boat, city, and scenery are great. This captain needs to relax. Its a leisure activity, and most customers are on vacation. He ruined the experience.

A must do!! Highly recommend this little boat ride around the San Antonio bypass. We bought tickets here with a short line. They had multiple boats, so the wait wasnt long even on the 4th of July! They packed the boats, but that wasnt an issue at all. Our tour guide/captain was a young guy who was awesome! He pointed out the many different buildings and things and gave the history behind them. We loved it! I learned a lot on the ride. We want to do it again but at night next time.

Starting with the website and being able to buy tickets online without having to go in person is great and very convenient . As well as the option for Military tickets.Upon heading to one of the docks I observed a long line that went by pretty quick. Upon boarding the boat I was greeted by the Captain/Guide for the cruise. -Captain Ashley- greeted everyone with a smile as she welcomed guest as they boarded the boat. Captain Ashley was operating a pink boat which she shared was a tribute to our members of the United States Military. Captain Ashley showed her appreciation to those on board who had served and is currently serving in the Military and the first responders. She also shared the history of the US Military in Texas. While operating the boat safely and smoothly Captain Ashley had some jokes that she shared which made the entire both smile and laugh. She was very informative and knowledgeable about the landmarks and the history that took place. Captain Ashley also had given recommendations of places to visit and eat. That was very thoughtful for those who needed suggestions like me who is a first timer in San Antonio. There were no problems while on board. I enjoyed the cruise and the new knowledge I had obtained.

I went on to see the cost of tickets, we discussed some options and then went back on and the website did not refresh and I ended up buying 3 extra tickets. Wanted to experience the gandola boat tour. As most of the folks who opt for ride are tourists, the experience of folks providing the tour was horrible. When we tried to ask details to one of the lady who was managing it, she did not even bother answering back to us forget about greeting. She did not even bother to look at us. The ticket counter folks were irritated to answer questions. I think with number of folks taking rhe tour they are not bothered about customer service, its like if not you we have many other customers The only reason went ahead was my kids wanted to do it. Would recommend to look for other options. Not worth it, rather take the walk at your own pace and enjoy the river walk.

Was so looking forward to this ride. Bought tickets and planned a special evening with my wife the day before we depart San Antonio. We were in line and it started to rain. No thunder or lightning in sight. We waited out the rain for about 1 hour. It cleared up and we returned to get back in line. It did not rain for at least an hour at time of this review. We could have completed the 30 min ride. But no, they shut down for night. **Alert, alert**: There are no refunds, just rainchecks which do nothing for my wife and I as we do not foresee coming back to San Antonio. I understand safety for guests, but a typical downfall of rain and no thunder/lightning. Very, very disappointed and disheartened that they did not take advantage of the break in predicted rainfall.
