I enjoyed lunch here with some friends and it was delicious! My friends ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and I had Pepper Steak. We enjoyed that we could dine in or take our. The portions were definitely worth the price as we couldnt even finish it all and the Thai Tea, simply delectable. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Went for a quick dinner with my friend a few weeks ago. Food and service was excellent! We had the chicken Pad Thai, the Iowa sushi roll, and mango sticky rice for dessert. Everything came out quickly and had great flavor! The only reason I take a star off for atmosphere, was due to a really bad smell that greeted us as we entered the restaurant near the restrooms. I hope that has been resolved. But otherwise, a really nice restaurant with good food!

We always visit this restaurant when we go to San Antonio, but yesterday was the last time we will do so. When the waiter brought our food to the table, he was clearly touching the food with his thumb. When we mentioned this to him, he denied it. We had to pay for both dishes, and unfortunately, we didn t even taste them. This was the last time we will visit the restaurant, which is a shame because we used to really enjoy the food there.

Friends recommended this location for sushi. For $25 a roll it was underwhelming. The spring roll came in some mushy/jelly wrap that was transparent. The taste and texture of the wrap of the spring roll was off putting. The ingredients inside the roll weren t delicious but edible. No way I ll return. Service was excellent. Atmosphere wasn t great.

The food was mediocre. My wifes duck was frozen since it was still partially frozen when it was brought to the table. Which made us think that it must be pre-made. Just heat and serve. Thought it was strange that our empty plates were never picked up from our table.

Sushi wasnt bad. The service could improve. There was a lot of confusion of what wine they had available that was listed on the menu. Several tables in the restaurant were wobbly. The staff disappears and doesnt check on tables. I wanted to go to a higher rated sushi place but sadly the good ones were closed on Monday. I was only in town for the evening on business.

I am only giving one star. Because I can t put ZERO. After telling the owner/manager that I did not like it, fish was fresh but not only was is warm, the rice and seaweed was as well. I ve worked in sushi for years. When I told her this she immediately looked ne up and down at my tattoos. I had to travel to get to this area, ate 4 pieces because I was soooo hungry. Couldn t not finish it. Everything was overpriced. And although I didn t ask for it to be comped. She immediately Assumed and said I had to pay. Which I did. The staff was super nice. But I won t come here again when I m in the area, just because of the quality and the manager. Owner? I should ve got her name. She also said I probably couldn t understand her because she s Asian. I said no, I did. The fact that she was rude to me as a consumer really made me upset. I hardly ever leave a review on here about complaints.

I ordered the pepper beef and it was delicious. My disappointment was in the portion size because for a plate at $18 It should be more than just a snack! To be quite honest this place was on the pricy side based on the small amount of food given. Even the people around me had small plates but they ordered multiple items. Hate to see their checks

Soo... after ordering on the phone, after about 30 minutes, my soup was not even ordered to the kitchen . The guy folding the silverware said he was to busy for him to put the order... ok, lets say Im ok with being lied to... I ordered a LARGE egg drop soup..LARGE. What did i get in the bag ?? A container smaller than my deodorant stick WHAT A JOKE I told them that they gave me a smaller portion by mistake...he assured me that it is not the case and it is the right size . Conclusion, 14 dollars for a soda can size portion of a soup....EXPENSIVE !!!!

Today, I arrived early to a lunch date with my babysister, and Sai was so patient with me as I waited for her arrival. We had the edamame thai spicy, and two sushi rolls, and hot and sour soup. Fresh food, great atmosphere, and service was attentive. Ill definitely be back to sample more of the menu. I started with my go-to meal of Pad Basil at a Thai Hot level and wasnt disappointed. Actually, it could have been a little spicier, but it was still good. Veggies were fresh and dente. Beef was very, very tender.

I ordered the barbecue duck and it was absolutely riddled in bones. They ranged from large to extremely tiny. It looked nothing like the picture online. Note to others who have never had thai prepare ducks, it has to be a finger food and you will not get a lot of meet. The servers were awkward. Took forever to get the food. I asked for chopsticks and that took 5 mins alone. I ate very little if the duck b4 realizing that it just isnt what I expected. Unfortunately I was not allowed to swap my meal for another :( Edit: after taking the duck home I got down and dirty and picked out every TINY bone. It was honestly great however only order this if you are willing to put some work in!

So I went back and ordered just rice and left a comment that it was supposed to come with my order and how I d love some sticky rice if possible. They didn t oblige. The food here is amazing I have gotten their pho and pad Thai which is to die for. I come here every time I want some good pad Thai. The only thing to be careful for is their spice levels I am a spice lover and am used to eating spicy foods but their hot spice level is wayyy too spicy I couldn t enjoy my food bc my mouth burned so bad. I can t imagine what their Thai spice is like. I would recommend the medium spice level for spice lovers as it s still spicy.

I dont get the negative reviews on this place. We found this place just randomly and took a chance. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the downtown area. You dont be disappointed. I had the Pad Ginger with no spicy level 0 and it was soo delicious. We also had an appetizer and had the Gyoza. SOo delicious. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive too. Service wasn t rude or anything. But the food was awful. I got the duck which was tough, and brought out so quick, it was suspicious. Also filled with cartilage and bone with only a fork and a spoon to eat with. Only upside is that it had singha beer. Makes me convince you should never trust a Thai restaurant that is an Asian mix and not solely Thai. Couldn t finish food, can t compare to real Thai food. Waitress entered my order wrong into the machine but we didnt find that out til I told the waitress that I didnt have shrimp in my spring rolls. She took my plate back to the kitchen and returned it with 1 shrimp stuffed into the top of each half. It looked hilariously pathetic. She laughed with me and I asked if it could just be taken off my bill. She said, But you ate it already. I said: I had to see if there was one shrimp at the bottom (my friend also ordered the spring rolls with shrimp. Got one shrimp body in each half. We asked to see the person she was going to for answers. When she returned from the kitchen, she said she entered it wrong and I wasnt supposed to get the shrimp...actually. I felt fine paying for the vegetable roll then!. When my main dish came of Paht Peht the manager came out to ask me if: I had already gotten a dish of paht peht. She said, Is this your second plate of paht peht?! I was flabbergasted. Waiters were trying to set her straight and say that there were two orders. ...didnt seem like many people must have ordered that then... The dining room had calming music of chimes but ...then one direction was playing on a tv in the connected room louder. A condensation droplet fell onto the table of a fellow patron who asked to move. The tables were not bussed quickly and many who entered desired to sit farther apart for comfort and space. Friends pad Thai looked bland and monotonous. He didnt seem content.

We decided to walk here for lunch, and we are glad that we did. The service was good-fast and friendly. There are a lot of selection in the foods. We went with the Tom Khai and Eon ton soups. The broth was savory and, even with mild spice, had heat. It was really enjoyable to see the coconut milk not mixed throughout the soup. We shared the Ginger Chicken. Again, even mild had some heat. Good onion and vegetables throughout. Definitely good Thai flavors. The waiter recommended the Drunken Noodles. I will be back to try it when I get back to San Antonio!

Some of the best Thai food I ve had. I cannot recall the servers name , possibly Rita(?), but she was stellar. Shortly after we arrived they got hit with a big rush and despite being the only server on the floor, she was incredibly attentive and didn t stop moving trying to ensure everyone was happy. They were also so kind with my kid s very particular food choice and even boxed up her dinner when she fell asleep before it arrived. On top of that, once another server arrived and the rush had ended, they helped us with getting said sleeping kid to the car, recommended a spot to pull the car around, held the door for us, and stood in the street to monitor traffic as we put her in the car. Next time I m in San Antonio I am definitely stopping by again! Thank you for everything!

Place is cute, ordered duck. Duck was 75% bones and when I went to get it removed from the bill in exchange for something else they refused and offered me the difference in cash for my reorder so that they could charge more in sales tax. A manager came out and poorly attempted to explain that they cant adjust the bill to make proper tax to maintain a good relationship with the government. Honestly it was insulting and frustrating and that is my last straw with this place. Im not retarded.

I used to work here. I think my review got removed, I just randomly thought of this trashy place. Trust me when I say, DO NOT EAT HERE. There are roaches in the back and I had an argument with the manager one time cause she took out food from the trash and put it with the Fresh food. This place is disgusting, help get it shut down.

The food was just ok. The chicken soup was good but they couldnt get the spice level correct, Thai hot is what I wanted! The lard nar noodles were ok, not well seasoned either.

I don t feel very lucky, the food was comparable to 3 day old cafeteria food. And not good cafeteria food. The type of cafeteria food you get at retirement homes. The duck which I m pretty sure was street pigeon was dry and unseasoned. Well the duck that I was able to eat because most of it was bone. I m pretty sure The fried rice was regular white rice that they dropped in a deep fryer and called it a day. 2/10 would not recommend.

My husband went to get me food here as I am 8 moths pregnant and unable to walk. Instead of being given a menu he was proceeded to be kicked out for being homeless. Interesting since he was in comfy but clean clothes (ariat jeans, veteran shirt, had, and jacket with clean boots). Definitely will not be returning as this is insulting to my husband and myself.

Honestly one of the most delicious Thai places I ve tried. We ordered sushi, pad Thai, curry, and Vietnamese appetizer- EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. They recommended the Thai coffee drink and it did not disappoint AND I don t even like coffee lol

Mod was an awesome server that made our first time experience a great one. Sushi is so good, spring rolls really good, and Woo Sen with tofu was the best. Hot oil is the best Ive had super hot but loved it! Really recommend this place

I have eaten at this restaurant for years but it seemed different, like new owners. The food was terrible, nothing like what was described in the description. I was extremely disappointed. The waitress was very sweet and working alone so everything took long. There was a man who was barely doing anything but ordering the poor girl around. This will be the last time I go to this restaurant. Parking: When I called to see if they had parking the man who answered was confused and told me no no parking.

I walked past this place on the way to the river walk. On the way back, I decided to get something for lunch and walked in. I was greeted and I told them that I wanted something to go. A staff member gave me a menu to look through as I sat down. I looked at the menu for half a minute before I was approached by a different staff member. After a few seconds , i got an uneasy feeling that I was being rushed to pick something. The food was pretty good for the price and the atmosphere was fine but I dont think Ill be going there again.

A quiet place with tasty food. The fried rice SMACKS, my boyfriend enjoyed the pho, the snapper was great. There was no one there when we got there, which is wild to me. The place looks updated, but there were some cheap corners taken and if you look closely you can see the mistakes lol. They also played the same song on repeat, but other than these tiny things, the experience was stellar. Our waitress was attentive and the food came out at a good speed (not too fast as though it had been waiting to be served, and not too slow as though they were overwhelmed/forgetful).

Good find near the Riverwalk! This was a nice break from the Mexican food all over the river. We ordered the Thai spring rolls, Tom yum soup, and pho. All were very tasty. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

Prices are higher than average, but the location is great with paid parking in the vicinity. Menu is Asian, from Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai. Hot and Thai hot are great choices for spice, otherwise medium and mild are not spicy at all. Check menu online to order fast, lunch can get busy.

Amazing food, drinks and the customer service was outstanding!!! I Went on kareoke night Thursday and the music was great DJ Memphis was a great host. He went above and beyond to find the song I wanted to hear. It was my first time there and they made me feel welcome and had lots of patience with my questions since it was my first time eating Thai food. I will definitely be back ! Parking: I feel safe parking there had no problem finding a parking spot.

I havent felt the need to review something for years, but I felt the need to warn others away. Untrained waitstaff (not their fault, but I knew more about the menu than them after waiting awhile to order, english was difficult for them as well) Understaffed: 2 Indian wait staff ran around like crazy trying to understand guests while running food and trying to remember drinks. Honestly, if you like people watching, just post up and watch the cluster unfold. The manager or chef is directing them without helping, and they have no clue what to do. Food portions: Small, my large bowl of soup was a normal small size Food quality: I ordered fried viet rolls and a tom kha total of $20. The fried rolls had nothing in them but residual cabbage and chicken particles. The soup had flavor in the broth but was missing substance and quantity. Wait: Longggg, even if the restaurant is not full expect to wait for your food, get your appetizer after your entry and never get your beer you ordered upon sitting down. Recommendation: Skip do not give it a chance. To the owner: Take a closer look at what the consumer wants in a restaurant. Learn from your failings, I hope yall can turn things around.

I wanted this to be so good the waitress was so nice and understood everything that was wrong but her hands a tied at this place its my second time here got Vietnamese rolls with far from fresh cucumber first turn off, that s a California roll, they forgot theavocado and pad woon sen that I couldn t even pick up some noodles with the chopsticks super over cooked moral of the story. I just spent $60 to end up getting chicken strips and Bill Miller.

I went in to check the place out. I ve heard such good things about it as I pass it quiet often. I decided to just order a drink, and when I was ordering the woman who handed me my receipt was extremely rude, she didn t have the courtesy to hand me my drink instead she left it on a counter and walked away. Unfortunately it was hostile coming in and leaving. Sad to say I won t be visiting again. Update: The Thai tea is really watered down, it s not like traditional Thai. Super disappointed was hoping the drink would make the encounter better.
