We had an incredible dining experience! David was our waiter, and he did an exceptional job. He was very informative and gave us great recommendations on the best dishes. The service was impeccable and quick, and throughout the meal, David constantly checked on us, making sure we had everything we needed. I can t recommend this restaurant enough. If you visit, be sure to ask for David he ll make your experience even better!

Everything about this place is great from the chips, salsa and bean dip to the atmosphere and service. Been to Gloria s all over Texas non have ever disappointed. The food is great and different than other restaurants around town. They do have TexMex if you would like that though. The drinks are delicious and strong! I think this is a great place to take people out from out of town for a good Latin food experience but also giving them the TexMex option. The quail was delicious. Parking: Might be easiest to park near the side of BassPro on busy days

This place is so good. The food is fantastic and so is the service. I had the ceviche trio and the fried plantains. I think they are the best plantains I ever had. Gloria s is a great spot if you enjoy Salvadorian cuisine and upscale Tex-Mex options. The restaurant is spacious and beautifully decorated. There s also an outdoor patio for the cooler fall nights. If you have never tried Salvadorian food, you must try the Papusas , they are thinly stuffed bread cakes that are filled with a light amount of pork and/or cheese or both. They are flavorful and savory, when coupled with the vinegar based cabbage slaw, it s a well balanced appetizer. You get three papusas for the appetizer. I always start out with these along with chips and queso, and also fresh made guacamole. They also serve a free signature black bean dip that is tasty, dip your chips into the dip and enjoy. I enjoyed the red snapper tacos that are served on a fresh corn tortillas with a light slaw and homemade sauce on the side. They are incredibly delicious and I recommend this dish. My wife has the Cascabel sirloin steak, cooked medium with a side of fresh mixed vegetables which includes a lot of squash cooked al dente. My wife enjoyed the steak with the spicy sauce. My daughter had the chimichanga, it is extremely hearty and is a large portion of food. She enjoyed this dish and recommends it as well. I d like to add that the rice here is amazing. I enjoy coastal rice which is light and fluffy and not a Tex Mex rice. It s a Salvadorian style rice and is simple yet lightly sweet and savory. The refried beans are good as well, although I always eat all of the rice. I recommend Gloria s, great for a date night and has a full open bar.

Was charged a cover due to coming close to their dancing time, was told I could get it refunded as I was only there for the meal. No one told me to keep the receipt, they didnt tell me I needed it and assumed they would remember. After finishing the meal, I asked to get the cover charge removed as I had no intention of staying for the club. They told me I needed the receipt that they did not give me. They promised to remove the charge, but after one week nothing happened. So I had to dispute the charge with the credit card company. Manager probably forgot.

We had lunch here earlier this week. We ordered the Salmon Costeno and Chimichanga entrees. All of the food was excellent and tasted freshly made. Excellent chips and salsa and black beans. The food portions were huge and great value for the money. Great customer service with a very attentive staff and very clean establishment. I left so satisfied with my delicious food and the service I felt like I was rich. Everything was done perfect. I am a picky eater, and I loved my chicken flautas rice beans the dipping cheese sauce was so delicately delicious and the drink never ran out. My friend and her granddaughter had a chicken salad, huge portions and very topped with delicious grilled chicken and her other granddaughter had a burrito plate served with rice and beans. We also had chips and salsa. It was just the best dining for $80 not bad at all. I totally recommend this place. It decorated so swanky loved all the details.

1st time in a long time that I give a perfect score to a place. This one truly deserves it. An excellent combo of great tasting food, very nice employees and quality of service and a very elegant yet relaxed environment. The only redeemable quality from our experience here was the service of the manager and staff. They were polite and personable. Despite initially denying there was meat in the green enchilada sauce of the spinach enchiladas I ordered ( the only vegetarian option on their menu) at the end they stated there was and they apologized for it. They tried to make it up to me but I didn t feel like eating after that and I was full from the appetizers we ordered. The plantain and yuca were good (though my kids complained they were greasy) so I added a couple stars for that. Maybe my fault for expecting decent vegetarian options from this place but we did not have a good experience overall. I appreciate them trying to fix the issues but it was too late. Vegetarian options: Do not have any vegetarian options despite their labeled ONE option.

Service: Warm welcome at the door. Shown to my table and was greeted by the server shortly afterwards. I was waiting on two other members of my party to show up so I enjoyed the chip and dip and warm black bean paste. Food here is excellent. Cooked to order and comes out quickly. Watch out for the hot plates. This is my second time here and will remain a go to when at the Rim. Definitely recommend! Parking: Parking can be a challenge in front. Dancing for the first time. Live music was good, DJ played good music, good atmosphere and friendly environment. The bartender may have been overwhelmed because it took about 10-15 mins to get attended during non peak time . Drink priced a bit high. When ordered 2 drinks one normal vodka soda and a XX beer, receipt was not itemized and came out to $20. Staff was quick to wipe a spill on the dance floor. Ambiance is a hugeee wow factor. To the bubble tank and chihuly glass piece when you walk in. The bar and friendly demeanor of the bartenders will draw you in. Once seated you are surrounded in this modern Mexican decor. Chips, salsa, and beans will keep coming out! The menu is moderate in length and a huge plus is a whole vegetarian menu. Will have to come back for the carne asada, it was very good. The skirt steak was very soft and had a lot of flavor like it should and the chimichurri enhanced it. The fried yuca was perfect and the fried plantain sweet. We also really enjoyed the free tortilla chips with the refried beans and the red sauce. The server, Max David, was also very friendly and attentive. Overall delicious and definitely coming back. ------ We came back for more carne asada and my mom ordered herself a mojito too. She said it was tasty, balanced the taste of the alcohol and the lemon with the mint. We also tried the tres leches and loved it!

Beef & chicken fajita platter with refried beans & rice is a wonderful choice. Iced tea is great. Chips & salsa - perfect. Black bean dip for your house made chips - lovely. Come back here at night for some sweet Bachata, Salsa, or Merengue dancing.

Glorias is always a fantastic meal. Have been here a dozen times and it always is on point. The pupusas are an excellent appetizer, I recommend cheese and mixed. The fries yuca is some real comfort food if youve had it in South America. The grilled carne asada is steak in a great Argentinian style meal and the chimichurri on top is a must.

This is my wife and my place! We come here at least once a month to eat and drink. This is our go-to date night establishment! I love the beef fajitas and she loves the enchiladas! Their margaritas with the swirl are dangerous but excellent and I definitely recommend trying one. If you havent been here, do yourself a favor and go right now!

The food at Glorias Latin Cuisine is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared.. even their own chefs come to the table to deliver the food and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at Glorias and the Manager Manuel and his team is friendly with the guests and always care to offer the best quality and experience! I highly recommend this place.

Where do i begin. Let me start by saying that i love Glorias not only for the food, but majorly for their staff. We started coming to Glorias since our covid banned was lifted. Our first encounter with our server Alexandro who is no longer here and Ventura totally made our one time coming to an everyday coming to Gloiria. We have planned birthdays for years for many of our friends. The first place we always recommend is GLORIA, always. Not only is Glorias our secondary home where we eat our dinner but its also our FAMILY (we like to say). We have celebrated birthdays and when other places have screwed our reservations for Birthday we call and they accommodate us and always save our night. From the moment we walk in everyone knows us and waves and its always a warm welcome. We personally always just come and sit at the bar. We have met amazing young motivated bar tenders who love their job and genuinely try to know you and connect with everyone. Unfortunately, some of the ones we have come to love and appreciate are no longer here, but boy are they missed. Kalani recently came back and let me tell you we were so happy to see him behind the bar. Our OGs, Ventura and Itzel, our favorite bar tenders, the ones who still keep us coming after the many changes in bartenders, waiters, and management. Their dynamic is epic and this is coming from someone who is in customer service. When i tell you i can tell they love what they, they sure do. They way they carry themselves and the way the make us and everyone laugh and the way Ventura just is himself and makes our day and the day of many regulars is Priceless. I love sitting down at the bar and they know what my husband and I drink before us asking. They even know our food order. There is not to many places where you still find employees where they care to know and remember what you drink and eat. If even it wasnt for these last two i dont know if our experience would continue to still be the same at Glorias. I have seen Itzel thrive and grow and have her team love her. Again, this is coming from a regular who just observe and sits at your 4-5 times a week :). Manny and Larissa also our favorite management we have met. They take time out of theyre busy schedules to always greet us and ask about our day. This is the bonding your regulars appreciate and keep us coming. Bar backs, food runners, and all the staff we know them and we love and appreciate all their hard work. We have had Iris when she first started tend to one of our partys that as busy as we kept her she was always was so professional. If I could name them all I would but the ones that keep me coming are Itzel and Ventura and Ivan their chemistry behind the bar, the way they work together, the way they interact not only with myself but other clients, the way they are themselves and people enjoy theyre energy is honestly is fun and great to watch. Glorias is very lucky to have people like Itzel, Ventura, Ivan, Larissa and Manny who make our day each and every day a great time at Glorias. #gloriaslacantera #gloriastherim

My husband and I chose this place after an overdue date. Our food took a little longer than expected but it was worth it. Their fresh lemonade from the bar was perfect. At first our server wasn t very attentive but she was serving quite a few tables and running up and down so it was totally understandable. She came back with our drinks now with a new smile. We enjoyed the food and the service provided was excellent. We ll definitely be back. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space if you re a wheelchair user. Bathrooms are ADA regulated.

Glorias hand down has the best Margaritas in San Antonio. The food is flavorful and never undercooked or overcooked. Saturdays are the best night to visit for some live DJ and live band, salsa, bachata, cumbias, etc.
