I live across the street and come here often. The vibes here are immaculate very chill vacation type vibes. The drinks and food are a little touristy priced. But its more than made up for in service. And I have not had a bad experience here ever. Today we had Ale who was super attentive, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend coming. I have pictures on Yelp if you want to see them.

Am I wrong to call this a hidden gem? It s outdoors, but I ve gone twice in the middle of summer and I ve been fine because there are industrial fans everywhere and water carafes at every table. I was going to brave it for the beautiful atmosphere, but it ended up being the best of both worlds. Love the Japanese/Mexican fusion food. Coming from a mixed East Asian/Texan kid, this place isn t going to do all the hot Cheetos, etc. It prioritizes quality ingredients, presentation, and service. The seafood actually tasted fresh and they let the flavors shine through, but they do fun things like sake with a miller champagne sidecar.

We did come in during a busy time, however Odescity was very attentive to us regardless and recommended a drink called a Don Ramon and it was amazing!! I would have done a negative review if given a chance. We went to the new Anaqua garden bar and their valet almost lost our car. They couldn t find our car for over an hour and after all the panic and horrendous deal the valet driver was asking us what is the color of the car. Finally after all the ordeal we were able to get our car. If you all want to save your car then please do not come here. Very nice pregnant lady was the only person who is helpful and everyone else including the hotel staff are very rude and they don t care for your car or anything. Do not ever go to this hotel, one of the most ridiculous and after paying $16 for the valet this is what we got in return. Spoiled the entire evening of my birthday. Horrible hotel and rude staff

Beautiful hidden gem in San Antonio. Location is an oasis with lush gardens and a tropical feel. Barfood is great and the drinks are tropical inspired and delicious. Elías (Nick) made our stay absolutely SPECTACULAR. He has been incredibly gracious and accommodating .all with an energy that was fabulously positive a joyful. A few notable call-outs for the stellar group of people who ensured our return to the hotel: Amia (and her beautiful energy), Santiago (his amazing attitude and willingness to help), Randi (her resilience and patience while being short-staffed and working the pool in ridiculously hot weather), and Alle (for doing the same, while maintaining a bubbly personality the whole time). There were a few hiccups during our stay, any negative experience was far outweighed by the overwhelmingly gorgeous group of people who were doing everything possible to make certain that guests were having an amazing experience.

What a lovely little surprise we discovered in San Antonio! My daughter and I were looking for a place near downtown we could walk to that had healthy food and a nice atmosphere and we discovered Anaqua. Tucked away outside between the pool, outdoor bar area and the hotel is a quaint covered patio with a nice breeze and multiple sitting areas. We were greeted and seated and had the pleasure to meet Jo and experience her people and service skills. Drinks were exceptional. Especially the non alcoholic drink The Paper Tiger . The food delicious Ceviche, Spicy Tuna Taco, Avocado Dip, and the Jicama Salad. Next time we are in San. Antonio we look forward to another visit.

I took a friend here who was from out of town and wanted to show her something different in San Antonio. Anaqua was a perfect choice! Everything from how welcomed we were by the host Karla to the attention to detail from our server Justin. Loved this bar except Texas heat and bugs. Do not reserve in the gardens (although not much of a garden) in June reserve in the pavilion. I was sweating as soon as I sat down and getting bitten had me leave. But the atmosphere is picturesque and it looks to be a completely different vibe under the pavilion. My drink was amazing, it was frozen and sweet. The waguy tacos and gucapoke is a must. Our waitress was attentive but prices are very steep! Hidden Oasis in the middle of downtown SA. We visited the outside cabana type bar for a cold drink while walking downtown. Our bartender was very friendly and helpful and gave excellent drink recommendations. My husband loved the Margaritas in Mexico and I enjoyed the Sunken Gardens & Tangerine & Me cocktails. We did not order food. The outside courtyard is lush, beautiful greenery and will be so nice when the weather is cooler. Definitely will return!

We tried the brisket and chicken skewers, they were meh and steep prices (2 skewers for $16, brisket ends looked like dog food, for $18). Would I go back? probably not. My husband and I recently came to the pool on a ResortPass. It was a quieter Sunday, and the team was kind enough to upgrade our small cabana to the deluxe cabana. Alejandra was our server throughout the day and she was incredible. She solely worked the pool and kept all the guests, us included, stocked with food and drink, and was so friendly the entire day. Ernest was also incredibly friendly as our first interaction at the pool check-in desk, and kindly escorted us to our upgraded cabana. We are San Antonio locals who will absolutely be returning to Anaqua pool & bar, Corinne, and the Plaza hotel at large thanks to the incredible service provided by Ernest, Alejandra, and team. Outdoor hotel bar servicing the pool but you are able to walk into the bar without being a guest. They had four beer taps of local beer and made some great cocktails. Love this place. The 2 outdoor sections make you escape San Antonio, feels like you re on vacation somewhere. Really nice new outdoor bar. There are two seating areas. The area that is attached to the building and covered is nice but the seating is too uncomfortable. It looks very pretty, straight out of a magazine but just too uncomfortable, You cannot properly sit back and be comfortable to have a conversation especially in the single chairs. The outdoor terrace type area under a gorgeous tree looks to have more traditional tables and chairs along with another bar. Should we go back we would choose the outdoor uncovered area. We tried a couple of small appetizers that were both good. Drinks were also good although the Mai Tai was described as boozy and was not. The margarita was tasty but needed a bit more tequila as well. Overall very nice spot.

Website shows an ALL day menu but its not offered at Corinne restaurant. We wanted to have dinner but the dinner menu did not have many offerings. Parking: Valet was $56 a day...I opted for parking at the River Center for $15 a day.
