Update: The issue has been resolved. *********************************************************** My case was settled over a year ago by Herrman & Herrman. However, last month, I unexpectedly received a medical bill from the hospital, indicating an outstanding balance of $39,000. Perplexed, I contacted the firm to inquire about the situation. According to their response, the third-party insurance had sent a check to Herrman & Herrman a year ago, but it appears the payment never reached them. Attempting to address the issue, I sought to speak with the attorney, Jordan Jackson, who initially handled my case. Unfortunately, I was informed that she had since left the firm. Assigned to assist me was the paralegal, Cecily Garcia, who first suggested I contact the insurance company myself to resolve the matter and have them pay the hospital directly. I expressed my dissatisfaction, stating that this shouldnt be my responsibility given that the case was already settled. Despite her continued involvement for over a month, my attempts to reach Cecily have proven challenging. To my dismay, I received another bill today, still indicating an outstanding amount of $39,000. My assessment of Herrman & Herrman is as follows: 1. They are proficient in responding to queries and returning calls during the active phase of a case. However, once the case is resolved, their follow-up is lacking. It appears that clients are left to navigate and resolve post-settlement issues independently. 2. The firm, or at least the specific attorney involved, did not adequately oversee the post-settlement matters, leading to potential financial responsibilities for the client, such as medical bills and fees. 3. I strongly advise against hiring any of them. There was a situation where the attorney requested that I collaborate with the medical billing department to negotiate a reduction. It begs the question: why should the client be actively involved in securing the best settlement for their own case?

Well I expected better from a 4.9 star Law Firm. I contacted them an explained my issue, they told me I qualified for their representation, they would charge 35% and they sent me a contract to digitally sign. Following my signing, they robo called me 3-4 times a day for 3 days with different people each time checking to see if I needed their service as well as texts from each of these people. Fast forward 3 more days, I get a text saying they re dropping me as I client, I m no longer under contract. Insane. (After speaking with another lawyer, our suspected guess as to this dumping is because my case is against the government, the most they can charge me is 25% so apparently I m not worth their time- not even worth the time for a phone call or email to dump me) Contact them if you want, this was my experience, I m going with a smaller office that gives a damn about their clients and not their commission rate.

Im not sure how to feel. The whole accident was traumatic and the aftermath just added to it. At first I was told there would be a clear line of communication with updates. This was true the first two weeks, then radio silence. I have to call these people for updates. Im never able to reach my attorney so Im constantly leaving messages and no call backs. Then I finally reach my attorney and apparently they never got any of my calls my requests from the front office or whoever works their phones. On top of that Im told I have a different attorney than what I was originally assigned. No one called to Introduce themselves. Spoke to someone today and she sounded extremely annoyed with me and was vague. Just wanted to get me off the phone. No empathy in her voice. Im terrified I made the wrong choice with this law firm. I have no idea whats actually going on with my case, Im told conflicting information. Update: Apparently my attorney or whoever was my main line of communication was fired which explains it lol. Thank you for reaching out and correcting all the mistakes were made. Hopefully we can expect a better outcome for the case. Apparently whoever spoke to me disrespectfully was supposed to apologize but they never did so. I was also told that the case would be hard to fight because our insurance company found us at fault which was not true. They stated they found us at fault because the attorney never sent a letter of representation months ago along with the pictures and information we gave the attorney, when originally they investigated in our favor after we gave them basic facts smh. They caused so many delays in evidence and information being sent to the insurance. I really hope things turn out for the better with this case. Im tired of the stress of all of this. Wish people would do things thoroughly on all parts. Again, will update this review once theres more consistency.

This attorneys office contacted me after a year finally settling. Great right until I get a call from one of the medical centers saying they were never paid. The medical center claimed the amount of 10k was left and the attorney told me after all bills where paid that I would have a settlement not more than 3-4k keep in mind I don t remember my exact settlement because this case was supposedly closed last nearly 2 years ago. Accident happens in 2021 settlement 2022 and now in 2024 I m getting calls these bills weren t paid. I called the law firm 03/19 and they told me they would get back with me after they spoke with accounting etc. no response back and now the medical center has placed the amount on my credit for collection due to this. When I spoke to the secretary on the phone I told her that if this wasn t taken care of by 03/20 that the medical center inform me that they would move forward with the collections. Keep in mind this law firm has had over 2 years to take care of this. I was told this would be handled and it was not. Now I have to my next course of action to handle this issue. Update 5/28/24 Still no call back from the attorney or the paralegals about this issue. No resolutions have been made. The attorney and their staff haven t returned any of my called even after they said they would. Last thing they said was they would speak to their accounting department and that was the last I heard from them. I m getting exhausted waiting on them to give me a straight answer about when this will be resolved. Be very cautious if you choose to use this firm. They clearly will leave you hanging out. Once they get their money you aren t their concern at all. Update again 6/21/24 The medical center that treated me has now sent the issue to collection do to the neglect of this firm the medical center if claiming the firm never paid them over 10k in treatments. This is a serious warning this firm clearly doesn t truly care about you or what happened after they get their money.
