First time going to this park, its nice. Big canopy to shade the kids while they play. There was a nice breeze while we were there, so that was a great touch with this heat. There was nobody around, just the 4 of us. A little clean up on the kids play ground would be nice. Some graffiti was there, but nothing to worry through. It was peaceful.

Near west side San Antonio park, minutes from downtown San Antonio. This neighborhood park offers a baseball field, skate park, a covered kids playground, soccer field, a covered shelter over two picnic tables and more spread out around the park. The skatepark is okay. Its all sloped slightly downhill which adds a degree of difficulty to every trick and funnels all the skaters to the same spot. Good if you live nearby but I wouldnt travel to this park. Lots of better options.

This one cool cause they got a bench you can Ollie from a angle at and grind or rail slide!! Little mini ramp to practice your drop ins and little lip tricks!!! If downtown traffic too much go ahead a stop by here for a shred session and let the traffic die down before you head out!! Perfect place for a pit stop to avoid downtown traffic heading home!! Plus they have lights just in case you staying here after dark!!! Playground: Jungle gym and basketball courts!! No so be advised!!!

Martinez Park has a few basketball courts, a smallish shaded play area, and skateboard park (although it s also used by roller skaters and bikers, etc). The skatepark features smooth pavement, a mid-sized bowl, and a few banks and ledges to ride on. What you ll also notice about the skatepark is that it sits on a slight grade/incline and it can be difficult to ride against the incline. Most other skateparks are flat and you can ride them any which way. There are no bathrooms, but i did notice two water fountains. Besides the playground, you won t find a lot of shade at this park. But if you go there in the early morning or evening, it can be very pleasant.

Love the place. Its nice for kids. Swing set. Basketball courts. Nice rims. Skate park. Nice n big. Open fields. Baseball fields as well. A few park tables. 1 pavilion. I found a few babies and spent shell casings in the grass. Other than that a gr8 overall place. No parking other than street. A small homey corner store just down the street.

No restrooms. No running water in fountains. I booked a Pavillion here for a memorial. They made me hire a cop and get a permit to make BBQ plates. The health department came and hassled my family and made unprofessional comments.

Took the kids to bbq and ride scooters in the skate area. No working water, both water fountains looked like they havent been maintenanced in a long time. No restrooms in this park. You should plan to stay within 2 maybe 3 hours. Fun playground but had to leave for restroom an hour in.

Good skate park but the worst maintenance workers. They come and spray the whole park with water well after it s open which causes people to risk getting hurt. The workers also paint structures and don t even put a wet paint sign. Good park, incompetent employees.

Beat miniramp to skate in town. It s 5ft with a 6ft extension that is like a half bowl. Lots of roller skaters and bowl skaters come here. It s the best choice for those looking to skate transition but not willing to hit 8-9ft bowls like lackland or rosedale.

Martinez Park gives people an opportunity to spend time enjoying the outdoors, with fresh air, sunshine and exercise on tap for visitors. Take a walk and enjoy the scenery.Alcohol is prohibited. Amenities are first come, first serve with the exception of a few. Cost to rent the pavilion Monday through Thursday is $15 an hour with a 4-hour minimum. The cost for Friday through Sunday and holidays is $30 an hour with a 4-hour minimum.

Park has a really nice flow, half bowl with half of it about a foot higher. Slightly downhill, hubbas are buttery, lots of boxes which are evenly spaced out, almost all the time the coping is waxed, theres a good ratio of flat to ramps. Great park for all levels. Also dope spot to bring ya roller skates. No restrooms, some shade, and has water fountains, although at times sketchy people will be posted under the pavilion. If so keep an eye on your car. Stay hydrated too. ü

The skatepark was fairly nice. No complaints there. I took my girlfriend and stepdaughter with me to the park and as they were on the playground, there were two other kids maybe 5 or 6 years old the that came up and started playing with my stepdaughter. They were not wearing masks and instantly started talking to us. Wouldnt leave us alone (not that we asked,) while their parents played with their phones. The other little girl literally picked up my stepdaughter because she knew how to hold a baby and wanted to show us. Take responsibility for your kids please. Or at least hire security to enforce the 6 foot distance protocols, it shouldnt be a parents job to tell another parent what to do, but clearly someone needs to.

Over run by homeless. Homeless people sleeping all over the picnic tables. Not very appealing. Druggies and Derelicts all over this park. Very sad. Its on a dead end street. Park Police responds to calls for service, not proactive policing of these individuals sadly.

Skatepark, basketball and a weird guy who would take his shirt off, hang it in a tree and have a loud conversation with no one while manically pacing! Then he put the shirt on, sat down, got quiet for a bit and then started all over again! Woo hoo!
