One of the newest parks in San Antonio and its absolutely stunning! We were lucky enough to catch this park during its grand opening and have been out there for several events including a concert by Demitasse. A great use of the land and the public art is top notch. A nice flow of the river helps set up this park to be one of the nicest parks the city. Here are a few pics from the Music at the Park series with Demitasse (Joe Reyes and Erik Sanden of Buttercup).

Ehhh . The park was beautiful upon arrival but once we got to the walking trail there swarms upon swarms of gnats and mosquitoes . We literally had no choice but walk though them as we got closer to the side where the basketball courts were there was a strong and harsh smell of poop lingering in the air. I m guessing it was coming from the restrooms. The park has great potential but needs better upkeep

This is a Great little architectural park that overlooks the San Antonio river. The trail below leads south to the mission trail and north into downtown and the Alamo. There is also a small community classroom. Its also a popular spot for wedding and graduation photos each time Ive visited. Grab a rental ebike here and you can get just about anywhere in the city.

An interesting park that shows what you can do to save water. The sculpture was okay but the river walk was where it was at. Considering there are tons of places to hop on the trail, the large parking lot and nice staircase makes this one of the better options. There are restrooms at this trailhead which is definitely a plus. Toilets: There are restrooms at the park.

Very beautiful and eco-friendly. I remember when it first opened, I was amazed by its design. I have been visiting this park maybe once a year; it seems like thats how its been going. But this place never disappoints me. I had seen this park a few days ago from the day of this review, and it was perfect; let me explain. The view, the smell, the quietness. It was all perfect. And it was raining, making the soothing sound perfect for a beautiful walk in the park. Lots of information about native plants from Texas, and I hear school field trips are hosted here. There are many things to explain about this park but I would rather you visit it anytime soon. Especially when it was going to rain or when it was chilly. Have a great day and an easy walk in the park and trails! Toilets: Restrooms are accessible and maintained. Dog-friendliness: They have plenty of bags for the little residue from the doggies. I didnt locate a water station for them, but I assume there will be.
