Dirty discarded sofa, cushions and electric lawn mower sitting on a trail behind a home where the sidewalk makes a T. Turn left on dirt trail then 500 yards on the right. Ugh! Submitted 311 online form to SA Parks to get it cleaned up. These are your parks people, take care of it!

This is a good little park. Nice for kids...The only problem I have with it is walking...I have found that their are so many bicycles that walking the little path is in my opinion dangerous...I feel like I dont belong there this has only gotten worse over time and its starting to happen at more and more parks. Many bicyclists feel they own the road... My dogs and I are run off the path over and over again...I am disabled and walk with a crutch even...I am posting this here in Hopes that change will happen... I have heard the fishing is fun but never seen or heard of anyone catching anything ...For now I have limited myself to where I can safely walk... I hope this changes... I believe their should be a strip for walkers and one for bikes. Motorized bikes are not welcome in my opinion and will get someone killed...

This trail is great for beginning riders and advanced mountain bikers. It has paved trails and off road trails for mountain bikers. There is a lot of wooded areas and rocky areas, but the path itself is pretty bare, so make sure to wear sunscreen and bring water. The water stations are present but far apart from each other.

I have walked in this area twice with different family members and it has been enjoyable. According to this map I entered in a different area and just ended up here in this location. According to the pictures, there seems to be quite a bit of ground to cover, I havent even done a third. I would like to add, everyone we came across yesterday was polite except for this one man on a bicycle. We were on a pretty wide Street, he had plenty of room on the left side but decided to ride on the right side where there was my group of 9 people. He was very rude, he complained as if it was our fault that he couldnt use the huge Lane to the left and took my daddys name in vain on top of it.

Part of the San Antonio Greenway Parks and Trail system. Extremely impressive! Bike, trail bike, walk, run, jog, hike, fish, walk your dog on a leash, rollerblade, and even skate or skateboard on this paved near the circumference of San Antonio park. Enjoy the animals and plant life. View all of the biomes that San Antonio features (at least three). Perfect for natualists and health conscious people. Parts of the Leon creek have water and are not dry. Park closes at dusk. Bring lots of water to hydrate. Sunscreen. A nice family short adventure. Bring a camera, GoPro, or drone to take pictures. There is even a very small book exchange for elementary school students. Water fountains are available but somewhat far apart as are restrooms. Deer, rabbit, owls, hawks, raccoon, opossum, lizards, vultures, snakes, hummingbirds, largemouth bass, sunfish, and catfish are part of the wildlife to be found. Lots of edible plants can be foraged IF you know what you are looking for.
