We will definately be back. There was much thought put into the new accommodations! The breakfast was scrumptious, the beds so comfortable, the room clean and efficient, the area safe and beautiful. Very attentive and kind staff. I traveled solo. Felt completely safe in this hotel. Breakfast goes above and beyond what Im used to. Menudo on weekends? Huevos a la Mexicana too. The bar is legit with really personable staff. Feeling peckish? Restaurants are accessible at this location. Wanna do laundry at 2am and need change? Staff is there to break your 20 with a smile. Will return when I come back to my old stomping grounds in rgv.

Hotel feels brand new. Room was beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable bed. Awesome shower!! The entire property is very well taken care of. Excellent customer service, front desk was outstanding, my wife and myself are running late for a meeting. We were able to call the hotel. They had our keys paperwork ready. It only took the matter of minutes to get it done and we were able to make our meeting on time. And during our time there, no matter what staff you ran into, they were always made. You feel welcome.

Rooms are nice, pillows & beds comfortable, the only small thing was the restroom not vary spacious but it was ok, breakfast! Oh man didn t expect to have tamales, menudo, huevo con chorizo & a la mexicana, tortillas! The employees were all so kind & helpful! Always had a smile & were willing to help w/gratitude! This is my 2nd time using this hotel this stay was much better than the last. The complimentary breakfast is quite good. Better than I expected. NEVER get a room overlooking the swimming pool! Too noisy with kids. - (One caveat, the hotel manager is not much of a good listener. He interrupts a lot when trying explain room issues). - The hotel does provide a free shuttle within a 5 mile radius . Very convenient. Giant TV in the room. Overall, I d stay here again. Nearby activities: More restaurants and food options than I expected within walking distance.

The beds were very comfortable, the place felt really clean. The location was great, especially if you have an event to do or attend at the convention center. Walking distance to very good restaurants and stores. The one thing I would suggest is that they provide at least 1 bottle of water. I would definitely stay there again. I stayed here on a business trip. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. I appreciated the bar downstairs, and the bartender was a lot of fun! A drink was needed after a long day of traveling and work. But the best part was the breakfast! I wasnt expecting anything great for the continental breakfast. I was expecting stale bagels and some juice, but I was pleasantly surprised with eggs, sausage, AND TAMALES. I will be staying here again when I have to travel back this way.

We had a great time at this hotel! The breakfast was super yummy (tamales, Texas-shaped waffles, eggs, etc) and I loved that they had constant coffee and water throughout the day. As someone who travels 50+ days a year this is one of the best hotels i have stayed at for its price point. Rooms were average, but the service and staff are impeccable. The breakfast is incredible for a free breakfast with tons of options and great quality food for an included breakfast. Desk staff were great, but the shining star is Art the bartender. As i would walk in he would shout a Hey Ben! welcoming, and attentive. Giving great dinner recommendations, greeting almost every guest by name and constantly working to keep people served and the bar clean and welcoming. If your going to an event at the convention center you want to stay here. Due to room availability my boss stayed across the street and complained about the food and over priced beers. the drink specials here were great. Highly recommend you stop and see Art if you need to come here for a conference! Rooms: Room was what i expect for a large chain hotel, clean and comfortable. The rooms are very clean, service is amazing, and location is great. My only complaint is that their wifi is extremely inconsistent. It could have been experiencing technical issues at the time or maybe the signal was not as great in the specific room I got, but the internet only worked around 60-70% of the time. The other 30-40% of the time the internet was either ridiculously slow (less than 0.5 mbps) or would not work at all. It s very annoying whenever you re trying to watch netflix or youtube and the internet will stop working for a minute or two every 5 minutes. The location is great, so there s 5G signal here, but I don t have unlimited data so I had to put up with the inconsistent wifi.

A Prime spot near the convention center. That Im sure to book again prior to every event now. Clean , safe, comfortable and smack in the middle of many restaurants and businesses within a stones throw away. Perfect in my eyes. Only snag was during my stay a nasty storm knocked the power out for some time being. But once power was restored all was well. Rooms: Comfy and cool. Clean too! They have eggs, potatoes, sometimes eggs with potatoes, sausage, bacon, tamales, biscuits, maybe beef stew, several different types of toast, wheat, white, rye I think, bagels, waffles, refried beans, flour tortillas, corn tortillas,oranges, bananas, apples, yogurt, packaged oatmeal, craisins, brown sugar, granola, strawberries, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, green tea, and others, but keep in mind it s still a motel breakfast! It s not as good as going to Denny s! I never really liked instant oatmeal! If they had freshly made oatmeal and raisins, and grits, then I would give them 5 stars. It s good, but if you want the best then to a restaurant! The breakfast attendant is not very friendly, a real sourpuss!

Excellent facilities and very good service from the staff, last Sunday February 26 I stayed there and I had made a mistake in my reservation by not choosing the most comfortable room for me and my family and even though 5 hours had passed that we made the Check in they changed our room without any extra charge and always being very friendly and aware of the situation since we had a baby, we will definitely return whenever we go to McAllen, and the breakfast buffet is a plus, you save time and money at the beginning of the day.

Rooms: Spacious, very tidy, comfy bed, though not luxurious. Still nice for a quick stay and seeing the south Texas area. Nearby activities: Carnivals are currently going on with rides, games, and fun activities. There are some good shops in the area although nothing unique to the area. There is a Bath and Body Works, a Barnes and Noble (the second one in mcallen with the first located farther north off 10th street), a Rocky Mountain chocolate factory, a Guitar Center, a sports store, Best Buy, and several chain restaurants like PF Changs, Cheddars, Macaroni Grill, McAlisters, and so on. So lots of familiar options to soothe a potentially culture shocked or travel weary crowd. Walkability: This particular area has a lot of different shopping and dining options, all within walking distance from this hotel. You can park almost anywhere and walk along the sidewalk to your desired destination. If youd prefer not to move your vehicle from the hotel, youre welcome to leave it there and simply walk to any of the aforementioned stores and then return to the hotel. If you need to stop for a moment, there are benches along the walkway, with most of them positioned in front of the shops (in the shade...in case you travel during the summertime). There is a lot to do and see in this particular area, and its not too spread out. With all the places to pause, sit town, grab a drink and/or cool off, its actually one of the better places in the mcallen area to do a bit of shopping and dining (in my opinion). In the RGV, there are a lot of different places to do a bit of shopping and dining, but I believe you would be hard pressed to find another area with as many options which happen to be linked together in such a small walkable area. So find a good place to park your vehicle, grab your water bottle and umbrella (on sunny days), and head out for the day. Enjoy! (& bring me back something cool )

Was surprisingly great. I expected a clean room, nice TV, couple chairs, clean shower, and thats it. This room had a microwave, a safe, and a much nicer looking shower than Ive had in any hotel so far. They have a 24 hour fitness center, and a bar in the lobby. They gave me a couple tickets for free drinks during happy hour. Just all around awesome experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had small children with us and we were provided clean cribs for them. The room was clean, check in was a breeze, and the hotel felt secure. The breakfast was very good compared to other hotels. They had a setup with tamales, frijoles, and other hot food. There was an attendant serving the hot food which helped keep everything sanitary. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The breakfast included is not good, the staff serving in that area is unfriendly, poorly organized and restricts the amount of food you can eat to a minimum. The reception staff is good. The room had a negative detail upon entering, I had to be patient and wait until the next day for it to be resolved, after asking the reception again for their attention, they are not attentive to solving the incidents in their rooms.

It s a good hotel in a good location, I just wish there would always be someone at the front desk. Whenever I wanted water or a snack I would go down there and wait for 5-10 minutes before a worker would even recognize someone is there and rush in from their back room where they probably are playing on their phone. 5/5 Stars, Professional staff went above and beyond their normal duties to help an out of Towner who was exhausted after the flight. Spotlessly clean room with a comfy bed. Easy to find a spot to park. Check in was quick no hassle, even at 1:30am after my flight held me up.

First time here and absolutely loved it! Will book here for future visits. Continental breakfast was splendid with great variety. Rooms were wonderful as well as cleaning staff. Only issue I had was the crib I requested at time of booking was not there and also not brought to room when I requested at front desk but we made it work on the king size bed with son sleeping on couch bed which he preferred anyways.
