First time here. Our server Tommy was engaged, attentive, and knowledgeable. He provided us with solid food and drink recommendations. The queso was delicious, and the cheeseburger omelette was stuffed with perfectly cooked smashed burger patties and fresh avocado. The affordability given the elevated level of food was surprising. Highly recommend! Please ask for Tommy when you go!

Parking: Mashd is luckily located near the parking garage which is great since it keeps my vehicle cooler. There isnt very much parking on the street.

Walked in for dinner with visiting family. One of them grabbed enough silverware for my group. I know youre not supposed to do this, having worked in restaurants for years, but nonetheless it happened. The host (or manager, I believe) was really snarky about it. I thought ruder than what was necessary. I know its annoying when customers come in and serve themselves if its not that kinda place. But really, the tude wasnt merited. Our server was WONDERFUL. Perfect, even. Wouldnt change a thing. She was informative, super nice, and had a great sense of service and urgency, The food: Avocado Bomb. Was . . . da bomb. (I think Im telling my age saying that.) Its diced avocado and other flavors atop a bed of arugula and topped with crumbled feta. It was VERY VERY GOOD. Avocado Toast Pizza. The elements all together should have been delicious, but it was greasy and salty. The pizza was a little square personal pan pizza that was super oily. Thick cheese layer added to that effect. On top of the pizza was a heavenly mix of fresh avocado slices, cilantro, pumpkin seeds, and fresh jalapeño slices. I was so excited. The oily drizzle on top added to the oiliness of the pizza base AND it had a crazy amount of salt in it. I couldnt eat more than a few bites. It was removed from the bill. Surprisingly, I am planning to order this again. I will make a special request for easy cheese and no oil drizzle. I think it will be as delicious as I expected the first time. OCB Chicken and Biscuits. One of the people in my group got this and said that, in the end, it was good. The breading on the chicken seemed thicker than the chicken itself. But, the hot honey sauce was good and he liked the biscuits too. He would order it again. Bonfire Benedict. Too salty. The garlic bread base looked similar to the pizza base for the Avocado toast pizza. The person eating it said it was very salty and she didnt like the chicken with it but thought the meatloaf option would have been a mistake. She did say the poached eggs were cooked PERFECTLY! I love a perfectly poached egg! Its not easy for us culinarily challenged people. Overall, I will go back. I want to try my dish again, but with less salt and oil. And I REALLY want to try the Killa Pie. Thank you to the kitchen and our server at Mashd!!!

Went for lunch with a friend, the food was delicious I had the meatloaf and loved it! The atmosphere was great we were able to enjoy a meal, drinks and conversation. The service was awesome, our server was Amber and she was great!! It was our first time there and she was patient with us while we ordered, I really appreciated that, she was attentive but not overbearing. Thank you Amber for recommending the meatloaf!!! I will definitely return, I want to try some other dishes.

I took a date to MashD and highly recommend it to others if youre looking for a good place to take someone new. Great atmosphere although music a little loud but we could still hear each other. The food was excellent! The waitress took excellent care of us and gave us space when we needed it. The only area of improvement would be for the staff to ensure the order is correct as my date ordered fish tacos but received chicken tacos. Im sure if I had asked the waitress to bring us the correct order, mashd would have gladly made the order right. But my date didnt want to make an issue of it so I let it go. And that was the last date I had with her! LoL

I trekked over 2 hours to be able to taste the culinary masterpiece that is the chicken and biscuits with the texas hot honey sauce and i must say it did not dissapoint, the contrast over from the wet sauced fluffy biscuits to the crispy chicken is a delight for the tastebuds which overwhelms your mouth with different textures. This added to the beautifully made sauce with a thick sweet yet bold punch to the mouth truly cannot be compared to anything else, i am excited to come back to this establishment in the near future.

The food was blah, we had the taterexplosion dish and I couldnt even tell it was scrambled eggs. It did not look appetizing or taste good. I tried putting the salsa on it to help but I think it made it worse. My friend had the same dish and couldnt stomach more than 3 bites. She told our waitress who didnt care. I wont be going back.

I opted for the French toast with chicken and potatoes accompanied by salsa, while my husband went for the cheeseburger omelet. The food was absolutely delicious, and we savored every bite. To top off our meal, my husband indulged in the ice cream with birthday cake and chocolate chips, which was a delightful treat. The restaurant itself exuded a great vibe, with a bar, TV screens, and a clear view of the bustling kitchen. My girlfriend and I tried this place. First time ever. Wonderful experience! I ordered the Bulgogi Tacos & they were awesome! I loved their garlic soy sauce. My girlfriend ordered the Turkey Burger (bun, cheese, and patty) with a small side of buffalo sauce. The patty was a tad dry, but overall taste was great. Flavor was definitely there. Great combo with the buffalo sauce. We tasted the fries and the seasoning was amazing! Definitely on our top 3 favorite fries ever. We will be back again soon!

***Response to restaurant, sorry but your response is a lie. We sent back tacos because the chicken was so hard it had to be 1-2 days old, even your server recommended not getting the biscuits because they were from the early A.M. and already hardened. Cmon now, be honest or change your cooking protocols*** Server disclosed most of food is prepared early in day, so after lunch it tastes old, and it did. Actually sent one plate back. Stopped in for brunch while shopping in the area. I was dining alone and they offered bar or table. I took a table as I hate when places force you to the bar just because you don t have someone with you. The server was nice and friendly. I ordered a mimosa and she asked small or large and listed a few flavors. It was fabulous, but I could not finish a large myself. Definitely a great value though. The Unholy One sandwich was okay, like a chicken sandwich on French toast. I liked the French toast part and the side of potatoes it comes with was tasty, but chicken itself wasn t very hot or flavorful. It also would ve been better with real cheese over the Kraft singles piece. Overall, I d visit again and try something new. I liked the atmosphere and service :)

Came in on a Tuesday evening and it was not very busy. The place is chill inside, as not much was going on and the music was quiet. We started with some drinks - unfortunately they didn t have draft beer due to some equipment issues but stuff happens. For an appetizer we got the Hail Cheesus Queso - the portion was big for a small and we did not finish it with 2 people. The queso itself had a nice mix of ingredients and tasted good, although the beef was a little too salty. For an entrée, i got the other chick. I was impressed with the quality of the fry of the chicken and loved the hot honey mustard sauce - seriously was thinking about this even after i left the restaurant. The fry s were good but nothing crazy. The staff was accommodating and helpful with recommendations. I wouldnt go out of my way to come here but i d come back if i was in the area and was looking for a place to eat.

Super loud, hot and there were flies everywhere. They had the front doors wide open. I had a reservation for 2pm on mothers day. Had to wait 30 minutes anyway. They forgot about us. The meatloaf was very good. Migas plate not so good. The other 3 dishes were average. The appetizer came out fast, but the 5 dishes we ordered took 35 minutes.. Plus, They consider a party of 5 a large table, so they precharge a 20% tip. We usually tip a little larger, but since we believe it was not a great experience we didnt increase the preset tip of 20%. We did like the atmosphere and music, so we might give it a second chance.

I came here a few years ago and I remember liking Mash d. However, today was a disappointment. While it s trendy and cute inside, the service was terrible. There was hardly anyone in there at 6pm on a Wednesday, yet we rarely saw our server. I got the bulgogi tacos and the tortillas were cold and hard. They hardly had any meat in them. The sauce, however, was delicious. I got roasted cauliflower instead of rice and it had a good flavor but was HIGHLY over-salted (and I LOVE salt). I m hoping this was just a one-off. My friend s pizza looked good and the drinks were good. I d maybe try it again.

My boyfriend and I decided to try out this restaurant for the first time and it was sadly disappointing. The food we ordered was honestly delicious and if it weren t for the horrible service and wait times we would probably return to this restaurant. Jarrod C was our waiter and he paid absolutely zero attention to our table the entire night. We were seated almost immediately and he brought us waters and then after that it was basically radio silence from him. It took him forever to come back and get our actual drink orders, and then even longer for our food order. We then waited nearly an hour just for our food to come out the whole time our waters and drinks remained empty and we were never checked on by Jarrod. Once our food finally came out the order was wrong but we still ate it because of how long it took to come to us in the first place. After we finished eating it took another half hour to get our check, and we paid in cash and he never came by to grab it until i had to waive him over. We got our change back and he didn t even give our full change amount back only the bills, meaning he kept our change. It was an extremely disappointing experience especially for a local restaurant.

The mimosas are no joke! I took my partner and teenage son here Super Bowl Sunday for the first time, and everyone left happy. Our server was kind and attentive. Let me circle back to the drinks- These are not your overly sweet pre-made mimosas. You are getting champagne with a hint of flavor. Blackberry was our favorite. Happy to return.

It s a very busy lively place on a Saturday. We requested for a booth which made it feel a bit more intimate and quieter. Also, I prefer not to dangle my feet when enjoying a meal. The staff were busy, but attentive and courteous. The were out of coffee and the wait was going to take us into mid meal so we opted without it. We enjoyed biscuits with gravy and the honey chicken strips and biscuits which were delicious. The biscuits were on the airy chewier side, but yummy. The chicken strips a hearty size and tenderly cooked and seasoned. The strawberry cream French toast was heavenly. And the crispy bacon had a good flavor, but half of it was soggy. Overall it was a pleasant experience which even with a reservation had us waiting at 40 min out, it was worth it. It s family friendly, but be aware it is a bar/ restaurant and there are words on the walls you might not want your children to repeat. I m sure there s a sweet drink or yummy treat to distract them. Parking: Drop off family and get signed in while you circle around to the garage to park. Kid-friendliness: Great patio options for room to roam.

Mashd has always been our favorite place for weekend brunch. They offer multiple flavors of mimosa in both individual and mason jar sizes. For food, my favorite meal is the Tater Eggsplosion which combines all the best pieces of breakfast, mashed potatoes, cheese, eggs, and bacon or sausage. This most recent experience was made exponentially better by our waitress, Savannah. Not only was she personal and professional, but she anticipated all of our needs. Noticing our chips were getting low for the rest of our queso, she brought a chips refill without asking. Once our coffees were getting low, she brought two more French presses. When we asked for to-go boxes for what we had left, I expected two regular boxes, but she came prepared with smaller bowls as well for our queso and gravy. These extra things may sound like little things here and there, but she elevated our experience. I hope she is training all new servers so everyone can love Mashd.

My friend and I stopped for lunch. We were seated right away. We ordered the Avocado white bean hummus and it was yummy, good portion size (enough for 3-4 people) . Southern food with moonshine. The menu is Southern and hip. For the most part we enjoyed our food and the service was pretty good. We tried the chips and queso, bootleg ribs, chicken and biscuits and cheeseburger. I am not sure which one my friend ordered but he said it was too wet and had too much cheese on it.
