This is an excellent place to get a free history lesson on San Antonio based in the County Courthouse. They have great exhibits and super helpful staff. We found it very informative and enjoyed learning about the multicultural history of the town. The artifacts were cool and there were kid friendly interactive parts.

This is a wonderful history museum about San Antonio, from its origins to the modern day city. It is well thought out with good displays for the whole family. A must see when visiting the area. And its free! Tip: When entering, start to the left exhibits in front of you for chronological order.

Free for everyone and very nice exhibits of the history of Bexar County. I visited for the first time during Fiesta and it was full of history and fiesta history from over the years. Would recommend and will visit again with family and friends. Went early on a Friday and no wait to go in. This place is still only a few years old and not many know about it yet
