I ordered a beef broth to go and I hate to be the person who complains but they didnt add almost any meat, I ordered the largest glass and all they did was put a single piece of meat and the rest pure vegetables. I know things are bad but I always see this business full and its not fair that other Mexican restaurants give you more meat and they dont for the price they charge.

Maggie is so sweet and on point when we order. Weve been coming for a long while now and never have i had a problem with anyone. They treat you like family. Maggie has been serving my family for years now and still makes us happy to come here. Parking: Always available parking. Big lot next to each side and front and back parking Wheelchair accessibility: My daughter is actually in a wheelchair and we are always able to find parking.

I have been going to Patty s for years. The food is consistently good. The salsa ranchera is the best! Magnolia is my favorite waitress and provides exceptional service. I will wait if I have to so I can sit in her section. I try other taco places and they never compare to Patty s. I recommend the Chilaquiles plate with fresh homemade corn tortillas. Sweet tea and lemonade are the best. If you go on the weekend, be prepared to wait because it s a very popular place.

Great food and friendly service. I wish they were open on Sat for a bit since I normally work Monday-Friday and dont get a chance to go eat there unless I have a doctors appointment or something else. But I still love being able to go there and enjoy some great tacos and wonderful flour tortillas.

Food at Pattys has always been absolutely delicious (been coming here for over 10 years). Its the service that seems to be getting worse. At first, we thought it might be us, a mixed couple, but no, they are pretty much grouchy to everyone. Just a smile or greeting of hello when you get to the table would be so nice. Parking: Lots of parking in front, back, and across the street (fenced lot) from the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is right by the front door. However, you will need help with the double doors to get into the restaurant. They are not automatic.

I try to stop by every few months or so, since I no longer live in the area, and always get their beef puffy tacos. They are delicious, usually. On that particular early morning they were absolutely HORRIBLE. They tasted like old fish. When I informed the server, she said, yeah, they hadnt received the new oil yet. That might be something to tell your customers before it leaves a bad taste in their mouth. On my most recent visit, the food was back to being just as tasty as I grew up with.

A non franchise Mexican American restaurant located minutes away from downtown San Antonio. A good go to restaurant for breakfast and lunch with early closing hours, so get there before 2pm. Pretty solid food, so can t go wrong with any choice. Service was good and attentive. Parking: Limited parking in front, plenty of extra parking at the back and across the street.

RATS!!! We were enjoying our breakfast up until my husband asked is that a wallet on the floor? OMG!!!!! NO its a rat! The gentleman sitting with his family next to us said it fell from the air vent in the ceiling! We had to leave before my gag reflexes kicked in. We unfortunately paid for unfinished meal and we were sadly disappointed in the owners and staff s lack of concern or sympathy for our experience. Never again!! Sorry this is my first time ever posting a negative comment on any restaurant.

Horrible experience for it being our first time. Having breakfast with rats in disguisting. And to be charged for our food and management and servers just laughing about it all. Next time you sit down and have breakfast and we will put a rat on your table and sew how you like. Not recommended for anyone to eat there. Sad for first timer.

Basically, you wait your turn to be seated, only to be seated near a loud speaker (hearing aid made this choice of seating a nightmare) and the refill station. When we asked to sit AWAY from this area, we were told No, sorry all the other tables are RESERVED! So we walked out. Thankfully, there are so many family owned restaurants in San Antonio, that would welcome a high tipping customer/family. Adios Pattys!

How does someone pay 27 for 1 person. The waitress says easy... 13 for my soup that was so bland, please dont order tortilla soup, you will be disapointed... 5 for my chips and salsa, which was worth it, love when salsa is hot, temperature wise, and finally..... 4 for my drink in a Togo cup so thats extra...total 22, still left 5 because it looked like she wasnt busy enough chatting w her peers or answering text messages on her phone by the bathroom door. Its the little things that surprised me but I ordered it so I paid and tipped according to the bill but Def not the service or food. Pattys has gone way down hill in service and way upscale in Price. Will not likely return

1st time here. This Restaurant Menu Prices are extremely High. I ordered the Mexican Plate and their Enchiladas WERE NASTY The cheese enchilada sauce was real Blobby and Tasteless, the Crispy Taco Meat was Delicious the Tea was really Good.
