Attorney Crystal Pacheco, what an amazing and prudent woman she is. When my life was in awe, mine and my Wife s faith was being tested, and everybody I sat in front of told me to just give up, I made a call to colleague of mine who referred me to Tess House Law Firm. Quickly I was in contact with Attorney Tess, she is a sharp woman I say, very sharp. She heard me out and appointed me to Attorney Crystal Pacheco. I had the pleasure of expressing my concerns with Attorney Crystal Pacheco and she said, Don t worry Darrin we will fight and fight! I ll fight for you as if I was fighting for my own and she did just that! She stayed steadfast and worked diligently. There are many things which Im thankful for, and Ms. Tess House is one of them. I was in process of doing my divorce on my own. Paperwork was filed, it was uncontested, waiting period was over.. but there was a road block getting into the Zoom meeting to get a judges signature. I contacted another office and they referred me to Ms. House. It was a Thursday. The receptionist got me on the books for a consultation for the next day at 3:00. By 3:15, Ms. House was acting as my lawyer to prove up our case. Before 4:00, my divorce was finalized. She was incredibly down to earth, efficient, and was there when I needed it most. Incredibly thankful.

WARNING-LONG REVIEW Attorney House is extremely helpful. I didn t expect the owner of the firm to be as accessible as she was but she made time on her personal cell phone which blew my mind. This is truly the Saks 5th of law firms. They are GOOD but they NOT cheap. You get what you pay for and there are things that are just way too important to complain my way to a cheap attorney that does not have time for me. I did not have to reach out to them. They would reach out to me. I was not left wondering what was happening next because they told me which helped soothe any anxiety. They have a client portal where the staff is always accessible. I can make appointments which was super helpful when I want to connect with Attorney House. I have read the other reviews and disagree. That was not my experience. It sounds like people just didn t want to pay and I am never going to walk into a Mercedes Benz dealership knowing I have Mercedes Benz issues with a Kia budget.

I do not recommend. They use practices that are not beneficial to your case seemingly to bill you more and the attorney I had Tess was combative during mediation which lead to lack of progress. During meditation my attorney argued points on matters I did not value and consistently delayed solution. I personally felt no value was gained from her presence, in fact my opinion is she hindered the process. I also sent messages that went unanswered for nearly a month through their message portal with a response advising Ive been busy and clearly dismissed my concern. She also seemed distracted most of the time and responded tro questions that I never asked. I once asked what can I do about about prescription drugs being left around a child and she responded-am I getting my time per the order(what are you even talking about). Amongst the deadlines missed per ordered required by an agreement, I would see attempts from this practice to continue conversation back and forth in order to bill your escrow account, when its either not in your interest nor is it necessary. I also saw my attorney on a dating site, which is fine- definitely date, but dont tell me youve been busy when you miss deadlines- when I am paying you, therefore I am your business.

Update Dec 14,2023. I still haven t received my credit balance (refund check). Motion for withdraw of counsel was granted October 19, 2023. Please continue your search if you re dealing with a narcissistic former spouse in a divorce. This company would not be the best option. My divorce was granted in September 2022 and Attorney House was retained to help enforce the terms of the divorce due to noncompliance in December 2022. (Backstory: former spouse was to refinance or sale property I gave him in the divorce.) After the retainer fee of $7,000 was issued, I found myself consistently following up on things that were supposed to be done and often wondered if she worked for me or the non-compliant former spouse. The mortgage company s legal team would inform me of my legal right concerning the property to be sold, however this information wasn t consistent with counsel. A motion of enforcement was already filed prior to retaining House and no matter how much I begged for the matter to be taken to court, I was always talked out of doing so. I found myself annoyed with always receiving bills for lip services that dwindle the funds, me being charged for following up with them and lack of action towards a resolution. Therefore, I had to educate myself on legal actions and did what I could on my own. Relying on the help of a realtor and the mortgage company, the house was finally under contract before foreclosure!! Thank God!! I reached back out to Attorney House for assistance to ensure I m safeguarded by potential narcissistic tactics to block or interfere with the sale, and she created a legal document. However, the legal team of the title company and the mortgage company refused to accept the attorney s special warranty deed because it was grossly inaccurate and The Proposed Deed also doesn t make any reference to the Owelty Lien in the Decree . To say least, my overall experience was less than satisfactory. My remaining balance was less than $500 and I m still awaiting my refund check. Motion for withdraw of counsel was granted October 19, 2023 no refund as of November 27th. I m assuming they want me to yet again, contact them and follow up with their lack of action in return they will charge me additional fees. Absolutely ridiculous.
