Better call Efron & Efron! Simply The Best attorney at law and lawyer. Contacted him with an issue, and he just jumped right on it without thought, fearless, full of positive energy, ready to fight. I honestly really do not recommend this law firm from this attorney she wasnt even listening of what I was saying to me she was more concentrated and defending the police officer of San Antonio especially when I said that that officer abused his authority and violated my rights especially putting me on handcuffs without reading my Miranda Rights or at least advising me that Im not being arrested just being detained and everything is on footage and body cam but again to me it seems like shes more concentrated on defending the police department than anything so I really dont recommend this law firm because you dont never know if shes defending you or the other party which my guessing shell be defending the other party more than the person whos trying to hire her

First: this review has nothing to do with the outcome of my case. When I first contacted Efron and Efron I spoke to Barry. He seemed knowledgeable and empathetic. He contacted me several times to follow up until I decided that I would be using him for my attorney. Then it went radio silent. He quickly passed me off to his daughter who has been practicing for 1 year. I was promised that she would be tenacious. When we finally went to court, Barry sat on his phone while we waited for the judge and Abby tried to get ready last minute. When we finally entered the room, Barry said good luck and walked away. Abby and I were steam rolled. She seemed checked out and allowed the opposing council to ask me the same question 3 and 4 times before stepping in. Leading up to court and after, Abby didnt respond for days at a time. The only reason I didnt switch attorneys sooner is because I liked the paralegal. I will say they did pay attention more, emailing me daily, when it was about retainers and fees. If you have a serious matter, I cannot stress enough, find someone different.

I can t thank Barry, Abby and Dana enough for all of the guidance and support they provided. Barry and Dana were so helpful guiding me through my divorce and Abby helped me set up a will/trust to help me secure the future for my boys. I three them a curve and asked Abby if she could help set up a Gun Trust also. She didn t hesitate to take care of my request. I have researched gun trusts for a while and this is the most detailed and thorough documentation I ve seen. She reviewed the entire document and made it easy to update the trust if I needed to add trustees or other items the trustI would recommend working Efron & Efron without hesitation. They provided peace of mind through a difficult time.

Such a great and smooth experience. Preparing a will and such is not easy. We dont like to think of not being here with our loved ones but we wanted to leave all of our stuff in order for when that happens. Leandra was amazing and stayed in communication with me at all times until it was time to come in and sign. She answered all my questions when they arised. On our appt Abby Efron was beyond amazing. I m going through a civil issue and Barry just taking the time to listen to my problem and agreeing to assist is great. Other attorneys were kind of blowing me off saying I didn t really need a lawyer, and that I could really handle the issue myself. I wish I could put zero stars!!! Abby and Barry are the most UNPROFESSIONAL lawyers I have ever encountered in all my years working in this business! I represented a buyer in this transaction and Barry was condescending and rude the entire time! He acted as though the 175k transaction was not important enough for his time. His daughter Abby was also VERY rude and stated in email she was annoyed.

I was being sued by a debt collector and was in need of an attorney. I was given their information from my legal insurance company. Im glad I gave them a call. They immediately accepted my case and replied to the court within 1 day. They also help to work out reasonably arrangements with the debt collector a few days later. While working with Berry and his office everyone was very nice however I had to do ALOT of leg work to get us to court and finding information for them and once we were finished they were supposed to help with filing the final paperwork to do my sons step-parent adoption and submitting the name change. I had to put in calls to his office to get the run around and have had to know try and figure out myself how to get my sons name changed, they did not know what to do as I was told I had to have my sons birth certificate transferred to Texas which have now found out 3 years later that, that is not the case. I just have to figure out how to fill out these form myself and hope that I do it correctly. Berry followed up with me about 6 months ago to see if his staff had completed the proper documentation let him know that it was never resolved and he said he would look into it and get back to me, which he never did and now will not return my calls! This was an exciting time for my family that has turned into a long drawn out stress to try and figure out on my own! He asked for a review 3 years ago was waiting for him to finish the work that was promised and never delivered, So unfortunately here we are with a 1 start review for broken promises and no follow through! Very disappointing.

Barry is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was always available when my grandparents and I had questions. He was always available to meet with us and very personable. He wasnt just about the business; he took the time to listen and get to know us. When my grandpa passed recently, he handled the probate quickly, accurately, and sent me all documents as promised and in a timely manner. I expected it to take months to go through probate and it took only about a month to complete. It was a seamless process. I wouldnt wish this lazy, incompetent attorney on my worst enemy. He was hired on our behalf for a visitation case and showed up to court unprepared. Not a single paper to reference. Never asked us any questions until an hour before court, never used anything to help our case and filed a motion on my wifes behalf without her consent. He doesnt give a darn about his clients, only his pockets. He also charged us for every call we made to him. Pretty apparent he was bought off by the opposing party. Steer clear of Barry Efron.

I work at UPS and have been trying to contact Barry about an issue. He was listed as an attorney I could contact. Left multiple messages and emails. He spoke with me briefly for 5 minutes and said my case was a lot to take in and would call me back. Never called back and I called again and he finally emailed me saying he could not help and wished me luck. I pay my job for this service and this attorney was useless and did not care one bit !!! Tried retaining their services on two separate occasions. Both times they just told me what I already knew, and concluded the conversation but without saying they couldnt help.
