I didnt think I was able to have anyone on my side in a time of hardship, but Allison and Cassandra have been my guardian angels truly I didnt think Ill be able to proceed in my case if it wasnt for them, and helping me with out hesitation... She was/ Is more than willing to help me Im so grateful for both these woman and blessed to have met Ms.Hicks... 100% would ask for her again <3

She came recommended by a friend of me at a time I was utterly lost. I was overwhelmed with uncertainty and Allison assured me she was committed to keeping my family together. I could not have been more vulnerable but her word that she would do everything she could do for me was worth its weight in gold, she and her services were the unsung heroes of my custody case. I dont know if I would have won without her but I do know that her acquaintance was a blessing ill celebrate forever.

Allison was an amazing attorney. Such a smart and caring woman. She really made the entire divorce/custody process easy to deal with. My ex was extremely difficult and trying every thing to leave me without my kids and absolutely nothing but debt. Allison came in and made everything right. My kids and are I so blessed to have had her on our side!

Appreciative of this attorney who has gone to bat for my brother to ensure he gets to see his children. No one is perfect, but kids shouldn t have to pay the price for their parents disagreements, and I m thankful that she is seeing to it that my nieces aren t deprived of a relationship with their father.

Extremely bad experience with this lawyer. I would not hire her ever again. They had extremely poor communication which led to frustration from us because we had no idea what was completed or expected out of us when we did finally show up to a hearing. My wife and I hired her for a simple adoption case where the other parent would voluntarily give up their rights. We got the paperwork back to her within a month of hiring her. 6 months went by and our case barely moved. We would call or email once a month to see how our case was progressing and the only answer we got was, I will check with Ms Hicks, let you know, or I have a meeting with Ms. Hicks about this today and will get back to you. That communication never happened everytime we reached out.. Every type of communication was initiated from our side. It was two weeks after the fact the case was filed with the court that we found out it was filed, and that was once again because we asked again for an update. It felt that we were not a priority and that she had other clients that took precedence over our little case and could not find time in her schedule to somehow fit us in for 6 months. I would understand a month or two, but 6 is ridiculous. We didn t even know that the study for the adoption was 120 days, that we had to pay for it, or that it could be waived entirely because the child lived with the both of us for 10 years. We found this out after the fact when we hired another lawyer and had the entire process wrapped up in a week. And just for clarity sake because I know this is their favorite line, I WAS a client of theirs. We have the receipts for all of this. I do not recommend this lawyer to anyone, for anything.

The worst attorney ever. Takes people s money and doesn t do anything for their cases. Don t waste your money!!! This attorney needs to be reported immediately and stop practicing law. She is a sorry excuse for an attorney.

Ms. Hicks is an amazing attorney. She is supportive, understanding and helps through every step of the process. She communicates well and has never let me down. She quickly deals with issues as they come and she truly cares about her clients. I have found her to be supportive throughout the process, especially because it is an emotional one. She will tell you exactly how it is, but she is also kind and gives solutions/advice to problems that may arise. I highly recommend her if you are going through a divorce as she will fight for you and keep your best interests in mind.

Honestly this case has been an 18 year battle. Alison made it to where the case was easy to understand even when there were times in the courtroom where emotions were high and there seemed to be no end in sight. Very accommodating and communication skills were on point especially given the whole Covid-19 situation we are in. Will go above and beyond what is required of her. Thank you.

Going to court is never fun. Even with Covid-19 happening, truly and heavily impacting the court system Alison was still able to provide a solid case for us. She was so accommodating in her efforts that she was still able to arrange consistent communication through the zoom platform and even arranged for us, in a safe manor, close contact meetings so that we were able to work on our case together and find a reasonable solution. -Thank you.

I have never witnessed a more unprofessional attorney, who enjoys threatening people and lying in an attempt of coercion at all hours of the day. Message me if you want screen shots of her unprofessional behavior. Not sure how she is licensed. I have been a first hand witness of her behavior.

There are too many reasons to list why Ms. Hicks is such amazing attorney. She is very professional and honest and walks you through the process so you know what to expect. She has many years of experience and knows exactly what she is doing and can back it up. She is always well prepared and will answer all your questions. She is a great communicator with her clients and also in court. She is also kind and compassionate with a big heart and a wonderful person overall and is great at what she does. I honestly dont know what I would have done without her help and guidance into all this legal stuff. My first attorney didnt really explain things well to me and didnt get things accomplished like they said they would but Ms. Hicks has walked me through and explain everything she does so that I am aware of the process and outcomes. I have already recommended her to friends and I wouldnt recommend anyone else besides Ms. Hicks. She does her job so incredibly well.

Ive used Alison for a divorce and child support modifications and Ive always felt that she offered realistic expectations of what to expect and what could go right or wrong during the process. She certainly knows what shes doing. She also has a big heart for those going through this difficult process and for the kids affected by the whole thing.
