Dan McCarthy is an amazing thoughtful and efficient immigration lawyer! He took over an I-30 case for my family and was insightful and intelligent throughout even with the multiple changes throughout the different administrations and the pandemic. The Village at Hampton Cove apartment complex took unlawful advantage of our quick moving situation and proceeded to turn us over to collections for close to $16,000 after we had relocated to Arizona. We found the McCarthy Law Firm through an employee assistance program with my employer. He listened empathetically, and with candor. He stuck to the facts of the case and quickly evaluated that the business that apartments, like The Village at Hampton Cove, count on people not fighting back. He assured us he d felt with their type before and let us know the price of his retainer fee. He also told us up front that if any of the retainer remained after this mess was over, he would return it to us! He not only had the shady apartment complex pull the collections claim, and return to us our deposit, which they had held, he also had them contact the different credit agencies to update them that we were no longer held by an absurd $16,000 collections claim. He was swift, efficient, communicative, honest and true to his word. If you re looking for a lawyer with these qualities, look no further. We just received the remainder of our unused retainer in the mail. His work should speak for itself, but I find an honest review to be quite helpful when it comes to these things.

I was referred to this firm through an employee program to get assistance on a personal matter. His receptionist is very rude. She set an appointment for 12 pm for me to call back and talk with him. I called back she said one moment put me on hold then came back on the line to inform she was connecting me to him. It rang a few time then said the extention you are trying to reach does not have a voicemail set up. I called back and asked what happened and her response was I set the appointment for you at 12 I cant control if he gets up and goes to the bath room or gets a drink. As far as first impressions go this was awful. I took my personal matter to another firm.
