This place is great. Service is very attentive and kind. Food is fresh made and feels like it came from my grandmothers kitchen not a puffed up posh fake place. This is the real McCoy. We got our meal and took home a dozen tamales. Perfection. Thank you for being here, you made my day.

There food is authentic TexMex. (If you were Latino in your former lives, like moi, youll know what is the bizniz when youre talkin Mexican food. ) Its so on. Great food. The servers, per every time Ive eaten there, are quick to seat, get your table menus, silverware, drinks, orders. The prices have gone up. Thats a drag. Worth it if you have a big budget for eating out or for the occasion.

First time visiting this place. We went with friends because they had been there before and it was good. We all received our orders except our friends wife who took the longest to get we were almost done eating when it arrived... Everyone complained about the food not tasting good but the hot sauce was on point... Breakfast is only served until 11 am. Needless to say first and last time going to eat at this restaurant... Im sure lots of folks enjoy this place but not for us... Thanks

10/10. Not from town but found this as a recommended place to eat. Staff is extremely friendly. Food was amazing. Had the barbacoa plate, and the cheese enchiladas. Both great and food filled the whole plate, no cutting corners in this spot. Had the fried Oreos afterwards and lord I was amazed at the value. I expected to pay more for what I ate. Again, 10/10.

Took way to long to take our order. We were in the very room. They were a little busy. But not supper busy. We had to ask for some one to take our order. And when we need more tea. First, they picked the smallest lemon wedges for my water w/lemon. Then, I think they save some beans and rice in a corner and throw it in the microwave for unsuspecting Gringos. Also, the cheso was lame. Server was kind and studious. The chips and salsa was by far the best part of the meal.

The server was very nice and pleasant. The food was awful. The queso was cold and tasted and looked like cheese dip out of a can. The Gordita tasted like the smell of a chemical cleaner. Best Gordita in town!! I get the shredded chicken with grilled jalapeños/onions ! They cook it to order just the way I like it!! Great chips and salsa/quac. Always such friendly service and clean restaurant. Quesadilla are excellent too! And they have great tea!! We actually haven t had anything we haven t liked. One our favorites!! Great people, great Salsa and the best cheese enchilada plate in the known universe! My wife and I travel a lot and we love Mexican food, we always hit up Monterreys first thing when we return home for a plate of enchiladas! Today we had the worst experience! Our waitress was rushing. The waitress dropped her tray on our table causing 3 drinks to spill and they landed in my husbands lap. I asked 2 people for a towel. No one provided a towel. We were moved to another table. We were given our food and drinks, the waitress never returned to the table after the incident, nor anyone else.

A very nice gentleman greeted us as we walked in and immediately sat us. Our server was nice, she took our order and promptly brought our food. Unfortunately, this was the only time she stopped by until the end of the meal. They were busy, so Im sure it had to do with that. We got there about 10:30 and requested chips and hot sauce. But since it wasnt quite lunch yet (menu indicated lunch started at 11), we were charged 3.50. We will deffo be back though, the food was good! Had the barbacoa plate and the meat was not dry and had good flavor. Id recommend!

Used to be THE RESTAURANT to go to for Mexican food. Changed the chips, and now theyre thick and very hard. Chicken was rock hard and not fajitas style, more like pot stickers. Replacement was not as hard, but still not fajitas. Very chewy shell on the taco Salad, rubbery like it was microwaved. The waitress was new, but very rude. Grabbed my plate and yanked it out in front of me with such force some food fell off. I didnt even ask for a replacement salad just some fresh chicken to throw on it.

OMG. This place was a gem to find. My family and I came out to the zoo and was just driving around. When we found this place.. The food here was extremely delicious. Fantastic and my new local go-to for Mexican. Ordered via delivery and everything was hot, fresh delicious... despite me ordering lunch time type fare at 9:00 a.m., I was accommodated. No forgotten utensils, there was enough salsa for even my salsa hogging self. The price was good enough that I ordered probably twice as much as was needed because I thought the portions would be smaller-- the leftovers wont last long, I foresee them being dinner as soon as I get hungry again. Ill have to get the in-person experience next time out of town friends come through too, because yall made the must-share local list for me.
