Oscar tried to pressure me into signing a contract obligating me to pay $10,000 to their firm without even giving us adequate time to look over it. I asked if i could please at least have one night to review and he said typically we do not do that after we have gone over the contract you need to sign it. But i will make an exception and give you the night. Upon discussing this with my partner, we agreed we would never feel comfortable paying a lawyer $10,000 who makes us feel pressured into signing a contract and gives us no time to review or think it over. After this incident i requested a refund for our consultation since their path forward was claiming VAWA in a case where there was ZERO domestic abuse. Since there was no legitimate legal path forward, i requested a refund for our consultation TWO WEEKS AGO. They have sent three messages saying my case is being escalated but no refund has actually been processed. Beware of firms like this they are just preying on people who are desperate for a path to citizenship BUT THEY ARE SCAMMING YOU.
