This place is super busy during lunchtime. The high quality of the food justifies the wait. Its open seating and I didnt have a problem finding a seat although they take a while to clean tables when people leave. After I ordered and paid for my food it took around 15min to get it. I ordered the chicken and beef combo platter and it was excellent. I liked both meats equally. The tzatziki sauce was awesome. I will be coming back many more times. They have some lunch specials but I felt the double portions of meat in combo platter was better for my appetite.

I was in town for a show and wanted to grab something quick to eat nearby. Ordered a chicken gyro and spanakopita online and regret nothing. I knew when I walked in and saw them dropping actual hand cut fries and not frozen garbage into the fryers that I was in for a treat. The chicken wrap was juicy and fresh and the spanakopita was flaky and delicious. If you are in the mood for Greek food and you re in the area you must hit up Demo s!

Salads are okay, but theyre too big for the small portion of dressing given, considering youre playing close to 20.00. When asked for more desssing, the salad prepers stated, we have to charge you and when theres a line of 5 people. Their competitors off huebner oaks go ahead and give extra to cover your entire salad at no charge.

Great gyros, fries, and hummus/pita bread! The gyros are a bit dry with too many onions at times...more Tzatziki sauce please!! :) I will come back to try the other menu options. My husband and I tried this establishment last night and both have horrible food poisoning. We both don t usually eat a bunch through out the day, so we know it s what we ate here that caused it. The food quality on its own is probably three stars. The pitas aren t homemade, the salad was nothing special. However, we both enjoyed the seasoning on our meats.

This place has one of the best gyros in town no question about it. The prices are really good and the place is enormous so theres plenty of room for everybody its got two different levels. These guys are always really nice about their parking downtown and I really appreciate that because theyre very generous about that and it makes me want to go eat at their business.

Tried the lamb gyro, and I wasnt impressed. It felt like the Tzatziki sauce was doing all of the heavy lifting. Other than that, the gyro was pretty bland, in my opinion. Definitely did not taste like lamb, either. The Tzatziki sauce had a good flavor.

You walk up to the counter place your order go find a table and the call you name you go pick up your food and sit down at your table thats why I gave service 2 stars. We have tried lamb and chicken wraps, pita breads and couple of spreads(hummus, spicy feta, Tzatziki) which are good. Although I feel the price range is quite high compared to the quantity of food. Like they charged almost 20$ for one wrap and a side of fries. And the dessert we tried is kinda disappointing( banana flavored with sesame seeds on top).

I normally love eating here so I was very disappointed with my meal tonight. Whenever I get gyros delivered I order tzatziki on the side so the pita doesnt get soggy. Tonight I also ordered *additional* sides of tzatziki and subbed out the pita bread for cucumbers since that was an option provided for me on the delivery app. I was planning a lovely meal tonight and then Id be able to have a great snack tomorrow. Nope. The tzatziki was just left off the gyros and not included beyond the additional sides I paid for so those were used up on the gyros and the cucumbers ended up being exactly six cucumber slices per side. That seems crazy for a side. Maybe my perspective is off but I feel very disappointed this time.

Delicious food, as always! Demo s is a San Antonio classic! I ve been coming here since I was a kid. But today I came during dinner and ordered the regular size, original gyro, my dad got the gyro plate and a side of fries. The original gyro came with red onions, tzatziki, and a good heaping of beef/lamb shawarma on a thick, delicious, fluffy pita bread, and a good serving of French fries. The gyro plate came with a LOT of shawarma, Greek salad, 1 dolma, 4 pita slices, red onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki. It only came with 1 tzatziki, but extras are 50 cents each. They also have Mexican coke!

Demo s Greek Food is delicious (and authentic)! We ordered food takeout, which took about 10-15 minutes from the moment we placed our order. The food was still perfectly warm when we got home. I had the gyro with beef & lamb, grilled onions, Mozarrella, mayo and I added spicy feta and tzatziki dips on the side. 10/10. Gyros taste just like the ones I ve had abroad. Dropped by yesterday for lunch and mistakenly left a $30 water bottle on the table. Went back and few hours later after I finished work and it was told the staff threw my property in the garbage and it was simply gone. Even at McDonald s if you leave something behind the manager and staff will hold it for a reasonable amount of time, but not Demo s. The thing is, although some staff people there are nice, not all of them are. I don t go there as often as I might (went to school near Greek Town in Chicago, which I have always loved), but that s because it s not a very welcoming place. The attitude a business has toward it s customers is reflected in the way they treat your property. I will not return to a business that treats me so poorly.

Atmosphere is nice, big menu signs, friendly service. 2 stars because the visual appearance on the menu board and the actual food size for our $50 order was a joke. $14 for 4 pieces of extra small cubes of lamb meat in the original gyro, one slice of tomato cut in half, one tea spoon of sauce on a factory made pita, just sad . $22 for the beef platter 2 small sticks of beef But lots of lettuce.
