So I regularly visit this McDonalds for meals, and Ive never really had a problem. I wanted to point out for anyone that didnt know but this location is temporarily closed due to construction. They closed on September 3rd and will be closed until the 16th of September. So if you want your McDonalds fix, youre going to have to go to a different location until the 16th. Wheelchair accessibility: The inside of the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible, but they do have an intercom outside that anyone with a wheelchair can use to get their order.

I was only picking up some food and once inside to wait for my food I noticed the tables were dirty, floors needed to be swept and mopped. Not to mention a whole crew with 1 if not 2 managers just loitering by the front of the registers. Mind you it wasnt even busy at this time and also I didnt even get a receipt for my food and had waited a good while. Please do better yall are located downtown for crying out loud. Cmon now people.

The service was great, and the personnel were friendly and helpful, however the mobile application glitches order things I didnt ask. I walked up and stood at the counter and had to actually wave one down to get jelly. I think if a customer approaches the counter they should be acknowledged I felt ignored. This McDonalds is a unique location and building. Rare to see a McDonalds that is 2 stories. I dont recommend using the mobile app for this McDonalds. We ordered our food and it took over 30 minutes for them to start making it even after approaching the counter twice about it. One of the biggest reasons of why I ever eat McDonalds is because its FAST food. We could have got a table at a sit down restaurant and received our food faster than this McDonalds. They told me they were behind on orders but it didnt look like they cared since all the employees come up to the front counter area to socialize with each other like they had nothing to do.

Nasty location. Such a shame. It s ALWAYS DIRTY! Being downtown is not an excuse. No matter the time or day, it s always gross. There could be 6 employees standing around including what seems like managers due to their difference in shirts, and it never fails that the place is just DIRTY. Sticky tables, nasty floors, smelly soda machines with mold in the tea the list goes on and on. The upstairs is always closed which doesn t leave customers with very much seating, about 35 seats. It s just sad to see a well known name have such a dirty place. No excuse because WHATABURGER DOWN THE STREET IS ALWAYS CLEAN AND STAFFED WITH FRIENDLY PEOPLE.

I was denied access to the restroom for my seven-year-old daughter. The manager or employee was incredibly rude. As we were leaving, he persisted in being disrespectful and speaking negatively. As paying customer with my family, we deserve better treatment. If he doesnt like his job, he should find a new one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Especially if you have children. The only thing good about this McDonalds is the location. It is in kind of a cool building with nice views of Alamo Square and downtown San Antonio. The issue is like many other McDonalds the service is lethargic almost like they are aggravated that they have customers. Use the mobile app so your dealing with the staff is as minimal as possible and you will be fine. Kind of a hard location to see until you get to it just because of the location. Food was okay, location is great. . . lots to walk and see from here including The Alamo!

I ordered a meal over the app for pick up. Couldnt find my keys for about 25 minutes. Found them went to the McDonalds to pick up the food and of course it was cold both the basket of fries and the 20 piece nugget so like anyone I asked about getting it remade and the manager told me I would have to pay for the whole meal again at 50 % off it though. This mcdonalds is a prime location, but they need better security. I was quietly enjoying my breakfast meal a few days ago, and 3 policemen had a man under arrest at the counter where you pick up food orders. The staff could be more friendly but generally get my orders out fast. I try not to have to use restroom facilities because of how many patrons go in and out every day. My food generally gets to me asap.

Okay yall, its McDonalds. Food was the same quality of any McDonalds in the United States. Fries were hot, my daughter enjoyed her nuggets and my small spicy chicken sandwich was good. I ordered a hot black coffee instead of a soda and it was barely warm so who knows how many hours before it was brewed. We loved being able to sit upstairs in the downtown location and watching the people and cars go by. The upstairs definitely needed attention though as all three garbage cans were packed full and the tables were dirty. I had to use a napkin and sanitizer foam to clean our table prior to eating.

My fault for giving McDonalds a chance. Both manager and assistant manager saw us standing there needing help and both ignored us. The manager walked away as he looked busy but the assistant stood there talking with some female worker having a conversation. We had to interrupt and ask for help and when we did the assistant manager looked bothered.
