Its a unusual restaurant where the server is robot. And everything else is self served. You can also buy prepackaged steak to take home. Their hamburgers are okay and doesnt taste like waygue beef. Beef patties are on the dry side. Their coleslaw is dry and no taste.

This was our first visit. I was a little disappointed vs. the hype I had heard. The place is very plain but thats fine. And the robot table service is fun. The burgers were OK but I was expecting more outdoor grill taste. I guess they are cooked on a flattop. The fries were not good though. They must not be cooked per order. They were not hot and a bit limp. We were also not crazy about the queso that came with the chip and queso. Not sure how that is made but it not as you usually come across.

My wife and two kids drove out the try the Flying Cow for the first time today. We walked in at 11:30am, waited in line, when we got to the register the cashier said I m sorry we are no longer serving brunch and we won t start serving lunch until 12. We weren t offered any other service, just wait 30 minutes or the door. The atmosphere seemed inviting and casual hence the 3 stars, but we didn t get to try the food. Customer service was terrible. We will never return and not recommend to anyone else. It s too bad, we had heard really good things, but for me service is more important than good food.

Not selling hamburgers from 10-12 is a big surprise when youve driven all the way here. The 10am-12pm menu decision (to not offer hamburgers) makes no sense to me but they did me a favor and cooked me a burger. Food is good and kid at counter was very nice.

We went Sunday afternoon and the service was very good. The young man that took our order was extremely nice and very helpful with the menu. Food was very good and tasty. The classic burger was very well seasoned and the Cajun fries. The onion rings were by far superb. We got a hot dog with chili and also very very good. The bonus was the robot bringing our food out and that was a nice surprise. We will definitely be going back to the the breakfast. The flying cow is place worth visiting often. Vegetarian options: Impossible burger Kid-friendliness: Dinning area has plenty of space

This is one of the cutest little hamburger places I ve ever been! It looks inconspicuous from the outside, but it s super nice when you go in. They have a good amount of food options and I really appreciate that they have a vegan burger, something I really didn t expect from a hole in the wall place. Everything I tried was delicious and I d definitely go back!! The delivery robot is so fun and I imagine would be even more exciting for kids. I like how they have all kind of utensils, condiments, sauces, and napkins organized on a self-serve counter - it makes me feel more comfortable being able to grab whatever I m looking for instead of having to ask for different things. Overall, this place is delicious and cute, you should check it out!

I recently dined at Flying Cow and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the patty melt, and the burger was cooked to absolute perfection. One of the standout features is that you can choose the temperature of your burger, ensuring it s exactly how you like it. The meat is sourced directly from their own farm, adding a unique, fresh quality to the meal that you won t find at larger chains. Additionally, I tried the fried pickles, which were a delightful surprise not greasy at all. The Cajun fries were also a hit, with just the right amount of spice to give a slight kick without being overly spicy. Evan took care of us and was both nice and informative, enhancing our overall dining experience. Flying Cow is a wonderful small business that clearly puts care and quality into their food. Highly recommend!

Great food! And best of all, they have a gluten-free bun that is actually very tasty. Any gluten-free eaters out there know how rare it is to find a decent gluten-free bun at a hamburger joint. We had The Shroom, The Herb, The Chipotle, truffle fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. Everything was delicious. Looking forward to trying the shakes next time! I do feel sorry for anyone dieting and living or working in close proximity to The Flying Cow. No chance of success with that diet! LOL Come try it! Best burgers in the galaxy is probably not far from the truth! Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free bun option is delish!

I bought 8 double wagyu cheese burgers with fries for work on a Saturday. I placed my order at 12:01 online while standing inside, cause they re very strict on their lunch orders starting at 12:00 and I couldn t place the Togo order early. So I arrived early and didn t know that. I paid online and got a confirmation text and notification online. It said my food would be ready by 12:25. I didn t receive the food until 12:55. This was after I flagged down a server and told him my name and what I ordered. The food was pretty good and I would return, but probably not on a Saturday. The food definitely had been sitting some cause it was ok warm by the time I made it back to work to eat, maybe 5 minutes to drive. At one point I bet there was 30 people inline to order.

I wish I would have had a better experience. We were excited to try this place. It was very expensive for what you get...$50 for 2 adult classic burgers and 1 kid plate. My burger was mediocre at best. It is just my personal taste that I am not a fan of the wagyu beef, but beyond that, my burger bun was stale and dry. The fries were good. As far as service, the person taking our order seem to be in a hurry. We had never been there, so we were not familiar with the menu. I dont think we were able to give our order as quickly as he wanted to take it. Their waiter is a robot that brings food to your table, which was pretty cool, but it means everything else is self-serve. I dont have a problem with that, but their system of payment still asks for tips. The atmosphere is a little lacking. There were quite a few people in there at our time of dining, and it was still very quiet... except for the occasional zapping of a bug at the bug zapper. Maybe that is what I struggled with is paying $50 for a meal and eating with flies. They have the fly zapper in the restaurant, but it does not stop flies from landing on your food mid-bite. It is a camp environment with a fancy meal price. Those dining with us tried desserts. They said they were good- especially the shakes. Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap parking, but there is not a smooth path for getting wheelchairs inside.

So I will be honest, this place has great food. It might be in the middle of no where but the ingredients is top notch. But we ve came here a couple of times for some promotional nights 1st time was Valentines 2nd time is their new brunch menu. I will say any time they have a promotional thing, they are so understaffed. We usually see the same guys, they even have a cool robot that brings out the food. But I think they underestimate the turn out, and it s usually packed. So this past weekend we went for their new breakfast, we were warned it was a 30 min wait, but that was an understatement. We ordered at 1130, when 1230 came around, still nothing. No one telling us they re backed up.. just kept waiting. About 1245 finally my steak and eggs came out, I didn t even get a choice when I was ordering the steak so it was just the chuck steak, kinda tough but I was just happy to get some food. Now my bf got the wrangler taco plate, that came out right at 1pm. What was more upsetting is that there were family s seated way after us, who probably ordered just regular Lunch menu stuff and they got their food super fast. Why would they have people waiting so much longer who ordered breakfast.. Lastly I got togo my mother griddle plate Again the food tasted awesome, but two sausage patties, eggs(over easy even though I got scrambled) and a side of toast should have not taken 2 hours to get. Next time we come, we re coming in the middle of the week where hopefully they re not having any specials going on.

It isnt good business to increase the price because it wagu beef and then decrease the amount given. It was $18 for only a sandwich. It was cold so they heated it up which dried the beef out more than it already was. It crumbled and fell out of the sandwich as though it was scraped from the edges of the pan and plopped on a bun. They could have put more cabbage on because it is very inexpensive. I was excited to go, but I wont return. The robot was cool and the restaurant was very clean The diet coke was good, too.

Richest burger Id had in my life. The beef was amazing, the BBQ burger was as balanced as anything that juicy could be I think it took a year off my life. The fried pickles probably shoulda been patted down or left to drip as there was a layer of oil under them. Leaving the last layer a little soggy. Could be an indicator the frier could have been hotter but we went at a really really slow time and I was already too full and the portion was big enough to sacrifice the last few to the compost. Update: still delicious. Got the steak instead of burger. Discount on steak night thursdays. It wasnt perfectly cooked to order but maybe it was Texas medium rare instead of medium rare. It was very close. Got the the brussel sprouts instead of the pickles; they said oven, but it was akin to very lightly, perfectly crispy almost as if they were fried... they werent greasy at all though. I can only infer with brussel sprouts so good they improved the pickles I mentioned last time.

This update is maybe our 13th visit; but weve still not quite become regulars. Not crowded last visits at 1:30 on a Saturday or at 5:30-6:30 PM on a Sunday. On one Saturday (the Labor Day weekend) at 1 PM it was packed. This is not exactly a basic burger joint; all the beef served is Waygu. The prices are no longer good, and are now much more than similar sized portions at places like 5Guys, not to mention fast food restaurants. The burgers and two other items weve tried are great. Good home-style French fries, skin on, salted and peppered, but not as salty as McDs. Onion rings were frozen (bad), but surprisingly good (go figure), but probably wont ever order them again. Serve yourself fountain drinks (so free refills). Highlight is the beef: so tasty, and fresh. Four flavors/styles of tea, including green and sweet. The Mushroom-Swiss Cheese burger was delicious, but then so was the regular cheeseburger. They offer something termed a steak burger, more pricey than their hamburger; avoid it. Its literally two small pieces of steak on a hamburger bun, tough and not very tasty, and as a result it was very difficult to eat it in a bun. We had to take the pieces out of the bun and try to cut them up with the available plastic knives. Not a pretty picture. They have a modest selection of beer as well. There are a handful of picnic tables outside, room for kids to run around in the grass, and they are pet-friendly outside. They are not open every day of the week, so check their schedule online before you go. Their latest improvement is a robot that delivers your food to your table. It was entertaining to watch patrons get out of its way as it navigated to its destination table. Customers here are very patient, even when its very busy. Ill tell you why: great food, always prepared freshly to order. And, yes, they do understand the difference between well done and medium (at least most of the time, so if you want no red or pink be sure to emphasize that fact).

Burgers are fantastic, specially the steak burger. Beer on the tap are very good! Their rewards program is pretty good as well. There is always something happening there. Specials and BOGOs are very frequent.

We came into the restaurant this past weekend and it was more than worth the drive. We had the Chili Cheese Dog, BBQ Burger, Truffle Fries, and Fried Pickles. We truly enjoyed every single item we ordered. The wait was short and every single plate came out hot and fresh. The fried pickles and BBQ Burger were definitely my favorite parts of the meal but everything was worth ordering again. The inside was clean and bright, the staff was friendly, and the robot server was an interesting surprise. If you re a fan of a good burger and a scenic drive this is definitely a must-try.

Excellent place to get a burger. Google maps takes you to the wrong spot. When youre almost there to where Maps says it is dont turn left until you see the stationary building surrounded by the wooden fence. It is inside the fence. I posted a photo of the fence from the outside. Hope it helps. Enjoy!

Found this local butcher online . And waygu beef . I was so excited. Placed an online order and realized that there was a store I could pick up from. Confirmed my order and waited on feedback .next morning .nothing. So I called and was told that my order would be ready and I could pick up in about an hour. Sweet! Get to the store/restaurant 3 hrs later . They were busy!! Long line for the cashier. I ask an employee where do I go to pick up the meet order as we were not dinning in. He points to the side where I can see a freezer do I open it and try an find my order I wait a few minutes as I see another line forming, well that line was only for samples not to pick up meat. No wait staff on the room, no one at the till .so I wait for someone to emerge from the back they are busy!! Packed. Staff is moving fast. Finally find someone, come to find out the order was not filled and now some of the cuts are not available. Now to get the cuts I ordered credited back was not easy. Also . U pay by weight so if the new cuts are lighter than the online order .. rounding error? Cute place but need to fix the ordering process. Best of luck, meat was good but. Or good enough for me to go thru that again . The search for a reliable local butcher continues! Updated: burgers are pretty good seems like a startup half the tables have empty napkin holders

I think I am going back again tomorrow. Interesting menu, great service, great concept. It is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the trip!!!!! I had the mushroom/swiss burger with bacon and the deep fried brussel sprouts. Both were better than I had any right to expect. Came back for seconds the next day - got the BBQ plate. Seriously, it is enough food for 2 to 3 people. My only criticism is that your iced tea is horrible. I do not think there is a substitute for fresh brewed tea. Please consider getting making fresh iced tea. Gold peak is gross and mixed from a bag of concentrate, it has no complexity.

Pretty good burgers. While it s not the best around, when I m in the area I do go out of my way to come here if I want a burger. The location is a bit out there, but it s very calm and scenic. When it s not hot, eating outside would be great. I believe it has a small staff, so when they get busy you might be waiting 15+ minutes. They have a pretty neat robot waiter too. It comes to your table. Kids will love it.

Great food with high quality meat. The food took about 20 - 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen, but the wait was worth it. The meat was fresh, and all food is delivered by a robot, which is a nice touch. The only bad things about this place is the location, which is deep in an RV park, and the fact that there is only one bathroom. Overall a very nice restaurant with excellent service and the best burgers I have ever had. Kid-friendliness: The menu offered different kids meals and school spirit nights are held here a lot. Definitely a good place to take your kids. Wheelchair accessibility: There was a wheelchair ramp at the entrance of the restaurant.

The first time I visited, the girl on the phone gave me the wrong directions... no biggie, come back with my kiddos this time. Kids burger, requested no mustard add lettuce, I repeated the order with the young lady and the guy when I got there to make sure, and he read it off my ticket..... they put mustard... maybe its a low-key way of saying stop coming lol idk... after calling and reporting this, the young lady stated shell call me back in a few minutes, which I didnt expect her to, and she didnt. Both times, the place barely had people. The guy is always nice when we get there.. sigh, but the girl on the phone, maybe shes new ....... needless to say, my daughter didnt get to eat her burger.

First of all, I will return. Everyone here is very friendly and happy. The decor is simple and pleasing. So after being here several times, I can say the fries are too soft, crunchy would be better and the Cajun seasoning could use a little less salt. The burgers are good, but not great. The only exception is the A1 burger which was definitely tasty worthy and juicy. I I not recommend the brisket as it has a different texture, cut into long rectangles and very salty but I recommend the cheese sticks and fried pickles. Too bad they dont have Marina sauce for the cheese sticks. And for you vegetarians/vegans, theres the double stacked Impossible burger. Vegetarian options: They sell the Impossible burger, grilled cheese, fries, fried pickles/cheese sticks/sprouts/onion rings. Dietary restrictions: Just know they serve beef and everything else fried. Parking: Plenty of parking on both sides of the building. Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is flat but a little rocky so be aware.

Hard to believe a place like this is tucked out of the way next to an RV park. Service is friendly, atmosphere is modern, casual, and fun, and the food is a 9/10 easy. Had the Chili Dog with Smoked Wagyu Sausage. Delicious! The fries are hand-cut and fried to order. Had a good amount of fry bits at the bottom of the tray, but they were otherwise crispy and well seasoned. Paired that with a local beer, and I am a happy man! They are doing great things here, and I ll definitely be coming back.

What a hidden gem around the Richmond area. Our family really enjoyed the burger. The meat is so hard to describe and tastes so good. Highly recommended if you are just looking for a burger that feels like home . Bonus: they even have Sriracha on the table despite the shortages. The RV park in the front might look like youre in the wrong place . They share the same building at the end of the RV park office.
