HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!! The court appointed wrong amicus! For custody or mediation, do not use this lawyer!!!!!!!!!!! During my case being dragged on for three years, he told me, Im sick of this case, which was not what I wanted to hear from the attorney appointed as amicus for my son, even after a recording showing her picking up our son while under the influence! I wasn t able to get funds released due to false documents being handed to SSI office so funds could be released to pay Child Support, and lawyers would have seen I have been paying if they did their jobs! Matt and his assistant both witnessed how my little boy is being couched to dislike me, they both agreed, and Matt thinks this is alright! Matt will tell you exactly what you want to hear, always asks for money, but during the final hearing, he will switch things and then say, My actions are not personal; they are based on my job that the court has provided to me. I am still on the same schedule as my temporary orders that have been in effect for 3yrs, no holidays, and being alienated! The worst part is that he did not attempt to mediate or work with me on finding any solutions. Now I am being alienated from my best little buddy all because of this lawyers decision! I would caution against working with this lawyer, but this was my experience.

In hindsight, I should have listened to my instinct after our first court date when he showed up just 3 minutes before time, so we didnt even have the opportunity to consult with him. And so went the rest of our case. It was dragged out for years by the other party requesting reset after reset, before finally culminating in a long, drawn-out hearing. During the hearing, the other partys attorney was quite good at manipulating facts, then not letting me speak to them. Mr. Sossi failed to address any of them on redirect or in initial questioning. My wants and concessions, Id later learn, were never communicated to the other party. 25K later, my day in court was a joke. Save your money. Look elsewhere. All you are to him is an endless bank account.

My parents died because he did nothing. He just took my 5,000.00 and sat on it for several months while my parents suffered then passed it to another attorney when he realized everyone was noticing he did nothing. Pretending to help after the cause of the problem does not dismiss the lack of diligence. This man should not be practicing. Yes you are very sorry for not returning my file or money and its true you are not a therapist, that is why you promised you could get guardianship, remember?

Over the past two years, I have watched my significant other be exploited by Mr. Sossi. This include: Horrible Communication, False Court Dates, Meaningless Mediation, and his all around carelessness of his clients that have spent a a lot of time and hard earned money that they cant get back due to Mr. Sossis lack and unintelligible representation. We are very disgruntled and perturbed by his very poor civility etiquette. I am writing this in hopes no one else has to experience AND/OR go through what Mr. Sossi has demonstrated. All this is due to his unethical approach towards his clients. Do not give him your money.

Horrible lawyer. Never does what he claims to do. Have to keep reminding him to do things because he is either lazy or forgets. He barks a lot but when it comes down to court he is a coward and does not show you the gun slinger he talks about when he is trying to get your money. Other Professional lawyers claim he is cheap ( doesn t want to hire a secretary) and not aggressive enough (very true) and i see what they mean. He literally lets the other side win every single time without a fight. But thats what i get for being in a situation and not doing enough research. I got stuck with an incompetent, unprofessional coward who is always late and unprepared when it comes to court.
