I was reluctant to reserve this place from the start but I was desperate as my d-i-l was close to giving birth. The only thing i liked about the (smaller room) was that we could work with a blank canvas. I didn t care for their decorations especially since they were an extra cost. I especially didn t like that you had to go through a dirty utility room to get to the bathroom. Unfortunately, my d-i-l didn t make it to the shower and the baby was born premature. I called Letty and asked her if i could have my deposit returned (I know it s in the contract; non-refundable) but in this case that money could be used for medical bills. She said only if she could rent it out on that day to someone else she would consider the gesture.

My experience was simply wonderful. Mrs. Lettie and her team/family did an amazing job of making sure my parents 50th anniversary 6/9/2024 celebration was everything we imagined, intimate, special and nothing short of perfect. I definitely recommend them if you re looking for perfection/professionalism and an overall great experience.

We had my daughters quinceanera here and it was gorgeous . The set up was spot on with our colors and theme. We got the highest package and it was totally worth it! There was a Dj and a photo booth! There was no stress thank you to the wonderful family that made this happen

So this past weekend we celebrated our daughters graduation abd let me tell you it was great. The staff was very helpful and easy to work Everyone complimented the venue. It was the perfect size for our guests. Special shout out to Lettys daughter for going out to find a balloon we where missing. They made some amazing Ballon clusters and a giant balloon arch for our banner. Ww high recommend this venue. Thank you Mariposa Event Center staff

An amazing venue - seamless set up and takedown, beautiful tablecloths with comfortable chairs, and a great staff that gives the personal touch. It made a fond impression for all of us that gathered to celebrate my mom s amazing life and celebrate her accomplishments and good works. The flowers are from the florist that is adjacent. Can t recommend highly enough!

Me and my sisters rented Mariposa Event Center for our parents 50th anniversary. Letty and and staff are very professional. They host a very clean and neat facility. The dj they provided is helpful and awesome with a variety if music selection. We brought it in our band they accommodated room for them as well. They have an awesome dance floor setting when they turn off the lights the hall has led lights all around and strobes which makes it an awesome experience for dancing. If I have another event I will for sure rent this beautiful hall again.

I had my graduation party and Mariposa Event Center and the owners, Letty and Araceli, were very accommodating since the first time we went to see the event center. They offered different packages as well as communicated very frequently to ensure the event was well planned and set forth to ensure a successful party. The event center was suitable due to it not being too small or too big. Overall I loved the service, the space and the turnout! Would recommend for sure!

I absolutely loved this venue for my baby shower! The owners made the process so easy and were accommodating to all my needs! The venue was beautiful and spacious with plenty of parking for all of my guests! I would gladly recommend this event center to a friend!

We just had my daughter s baby shower this past Sunday, and they did not disappoint. Backdrops were perfect and they even lend us the perfect size table for our Mimosa table. We did a brunch arrived 2.5 hours before the shower to set up and all backdrops and tables were ready for us to complete the set up! Thank you Mariposa Event Center.

I highly recommend Mariposa Event center for your next event. Owners were great from the moment we stepped foot in the center to check it out. Very accommodating and flexible with your needs!! I am glad a friend recommended this place for my parents 50th Anniversary! This is the perfect size event center if you want something nice and centrally located in San Antonio! Book it you won t regret it!

Just celebrated my dads 50th surprise birthday party here, highly recommend! Owners were very helpful, and flexible with our event. Beautiful, Very spacious, Plenty of parking! Had my husband s 60th surprise birthday party here at Mariposa Event Center and they were absolutely amazing. The family is very accommodating and even gave us plenty of time to decorate. They have many extras that can be added to your package, which makes things sooo much easier when you are planning an event. Thanks for all the help.

We had a company event at Mariposa, the place was very well appointed with everything we needed. The owners made sure we had a good time and even went out of their way to help us gather utensils we had forgotten to serve the food catered. Music played was not loud which provided a good environment to talk and eat. Definitely consider this place for any event.

I had an event here on April 23, 2022. The venue is nice and centrally located, personnel are also nice people. BUT.... they have a huge AC problem. Its been 2 wks since the event and some of my family members and friends who attended are still asking me if I got compensated for it being so hot during our event and suggested I do a review because for what I paid for, it should have been a little more comfortable and cooler inside. From the moment we started decorating all up until the end of the event it was like 90 degrees in there. I kept asking them to make it cooler in there and all they would say, was that they turned it down already. Everyone was fanning themselves and it kept some people from dancing because of the heat. Its unfortunate that how hot the venue was, is the memory that my guests took from that evening. And for what I paid, I was really expecting much more. Unsatisfied customer and guests. Never again.

We had our dads 70th birthday party here. Everything was exceptional. Hall was beautiful. Owner went over and beyond to accommodate us. And everything was included. tables, linens center pieces plate set ups back drop sash for chairs. Everything was decorated clean and ready when we arrived. Highly recommend for a stress free venue.

The Mariposa Event Center was the perfect size for my daughter s 1st Birthday. Araceli and Letty did an excellent job maximizing the space we needed for all the tables/chairs, food, and games for children. The tables were decorated beautifully with linens and flowers as the centerpieces. My daughter loved her mini mouse balloon arch and balloon stands. Thank you Mariposa Event Center, I would definitely recommend to family and friends!

Araceli and Letty did a fantastic job helping with and hosting our son s first birthday party. The event center is just the right size for plenty of guests, various food stations, and activities. The tables were beautifully decorated with linens and we were even able to get some balloon arches added in. Highly recommend Mariposa Event Center!
