Great brisket and bistec a la mexicana. There was a point in time where Salsa was more expensive than other Tex Mex restaurants, but you were always getting really good quality meals. Now that everything costs an arm and a leg, its nice to see their prices havent skyrocketed out of control while also serving up excellent food.

We sat in the very back by the restrooms, where the host took us. There was no server for that table. We found out after waiting 20 minutes and 2 servers coming over saying, Let me see whos here. We had chips and salsa beans. But no drinks. After being walked by for this long amount of time, I really thought a manager would have come over to our table. No, instead, we got the worst service. If my food was hot when it came out, at least I would have been happy. Im sure since we didnt have an assigned server, our food sat in the back for a while

Dear Salsas Tex-Mex Management, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent visit to your restaurant. As a frequent patron, I have come to expect a certain level of service and quality, but my latest experience fell significantly short. During our visit, my father ordered chicken fajitas and specifically requested that the grilled onions be sautéed a little longer. When his order arrived, the onions were burnt and tasted like charcoal, rendering them inedible. I have attached a picture for reference. We brought this to the attention of our waiter and requested to speak with the manager. After a few minutes, a male manager came to our table to address the situation. Unfortunately, his response was extremely unprofessional. He argued that we had ordered the grilled onions well done and that we had received exactly that. He claimed that if we had requested the onions to be more caramelized, they would not have been burnt. He also mentioned that the hot skillet caused the onions to burn, but did not acknowledge that this should not have resulted in such poor quality. Throughout the conversation, the manager repeatedly interrupted us and refused to listen to our concerns. He continued to argue rather than attempting to resolve the issue or offer a solution. This interaction was frustrating and disappointing. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues to ensure that such experiences do not occur in the future. This a regular go-to for dinner or lunch for us. The chips and salsa choices are fantastic. Service is mostly fantastic. The mixed drinks Ive had from the bar were great. Its a strip mall restaurant but dont let that fool you. Its a great neighborhood hole-in-the-wall restaurant.

The food is delicious, and the portions are large. It suffers from its own popularity, though. The atmosphere is festive but sometimes too loud to hear your dinner companions. We try to go off-peak hours for better parking. Parking: Parking is shared of a large strip mall. At peak times, parking can be an issue. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped ramps are far away, and spots can be hard to come by. Tables are close together. Technically, they are wheelchair accessible, but I would not call the dining area wheelchair or mobility impaired friendly because the aisle areas are narrow.

Had the street tacos (beef) OH M DELICIOUS Full of flavors and the rice was perfectly cooked Had the tres leches (kinda dry for a cake with so much liquid) but good nonetheless. A great place to get some Tex Mex! The service was great and very helpful in explaining what everything was and what they recommended. The sample platter was very filling and had so many varieties of flavor that two people could share just that and be satisfied. The restaurant is large and has plenty of seating for everyone and has a typical Tex Mex vibe. A great place to get a filling bite when you re in the mood for Tex Mex!

Food is authentic Tex-Mex. Seasoning and spices are just right. Good mix of enchiladas (my favorite). Spicy options are available. Chips and salsa (two salsa, black bean and guacamole sauce) are all complimentary. Restaurant can accommodate larger groups. Good size bar seating for cocktails. Staff is attentive and helpful. Prices are in line. This place will not disappoint you. They stay busy for a reason.

Great service, great food, and friendly staff. Important to note - was there with family and one of my family members became unruly with the staff. We managed to escort him out and apologize to the staff, they were very gracious about it. Customer service is truly such a ridiculously hard job sometimes and I m embarrassed it even happened but have nothing but positive remarks and praise with the way they responded. Decided to try something new and glad I did. Gerardo was an excellent host. We ordered the queso fundido and birria tacos. Queso fundió was good but could have been better. I wasn t a fan of the chorizo on top, just not use to that specific chorizo. Flour tortillas were underwhelming, I was hoping for authentic flour tortillas. We really enjoyed the birria tacos but my only complaint was that the rice was a tad bit salty. Margaritas are STRONG. Put my husband right to bed as soon as we arrived home. Overall, good experience! We shall return. Removed one star because my finger was cut/punctured from the bottom of my seat while scooting in towards the table.

The place has doubled in sized since our first visit about 2015. Great service as always. Successful restaurant chain for three other locations in county. Jul 2014 review: My favorite is the chicken flautas. I tried the brisket omelette weekend when they have the brunch menu. I posted a photo of the omelette and flautas. Eat half of it take the rest home for leftovers.I have been here many times. They have recently expanded their restaurant and posted new photos. They are also expanding the bar area as well.

repeat customer but first review! We arrived at 745 on a Friday night so we expected them to be a bit crowded. There was a minimal wait for 2 people, but when we got seated, the service was POOR!! We waited a while to get our chips y salsa and then they gave us plastic utensils while we saw everyone else with real utensils and linen napkins!! The drinks were OUTSTANDING as usual, but we could not get staff to bring us more napkins and basic stuff like refill our water, chips, salsa, etc. By 9:00 the staff seemed REALLY annoyed we were still there in our seats. I guess they were just tooo busy, but WOW! also, the price has gone WAY up and you dont get as much food as you used to. We may have to find a new place for our tex mex cravings unfortunately.

I went here one afternoon to celebrate a late birthday for myself My son had given me some money so I treated myself I ordered bacon wrapped and cheese,stuffed shrimp with vegetables and rice. it was a big portion and it was delicious. I had a margarita on the rocks very delicious as well. They re white queso with ground beef in. It is happiness in a cup, so my son and his wife came to visit a few weeks later. and I took them there for dinner. They were so excited they loved the queso as well. She got the shrimp dish and agreed with me. My son got fajitas a mix of chicken and beef I got chicken fajitas the servers are top-notch and they know their menu and can help you pick something you will love!

A few TVs throughout each side of the restaurant. Staff were friendly and really attentive even when theyre busy. Complimentary chips with 3 doing sauces: a black bean dip, fresh red mild salsa, and salsa verde. Affordable prices. We really enjoyed eating here. Only complaint is that there are tables too close by to the restrooms. Parking: General parking is shared by all suites in a shopping center. It can get full during lunch and dinner rushes. Kid-friendliness: Kids section on the menu Wheelchair accessibility: There is not really good wheelchair accessibility in this restaurant. Space is limited and a bit of a tight seating arrangement in the floor plan.

The kitchen service was very fast and convenient. The menu was very easy to read. The crew members were very friendly, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. The business was very clean. The taco salad was accurate, hot and delicious. They have various sauces for your chips. Ask for the molcajete for a spicy one. I love mixing them together too get a unique flavor. It was a very good experience. I will return. The Margarita for 2 is huge and worth the money.

Best Texmex restaurant in Plano. We go there often. 5 stars! Great chips and salsa and they have an awesome bean dip salsa too. Weve had a number of dishes here and all are good. My only complaint is that they use canned jalapeños with no fresh grilled ones available. Turns out you can order grilled jalapenos called Toreados. Place is normally packed, but the wait is short. Staff is always friendly and attentive.

I wish I had gotten the name of the waiter who took care of us. He was so nice and personable and an excellent server. The food was fabulous as always and we were in and out and nothing flat! Dietary restrictions: They always take care of me removing the foods that I am allergic to. The food is always excellent and our server is always excellent as Ive had him before. Went for Lunch & the combo Fajitas were SO delicious! The meat was tender & full of flavor which was appreciated. The watermelon mojito was fantastic and our Server was very friendly & helpful when asked what was a good choice on the menu. I ordered a barbecue for one person and I paid $22. Im not happy at all. I only got 2 shrimp and two pieces of chicken and two pieces of steak and then everything was pure onions. I thought I had paid for meat but apparently I paid for the onions. There were a lot of onions. and no meat

I had the fried shrimp with garlic and veggies. It was AMAZING. you can tell its a great local spot because my mom daughter and I showed up at 4 and it was pretty busy. My daughter ate a lot which is also a blessing. Definitely my favorite Tex Mex spots in Dallas

This is my favorite Tex Mex restaurant in the area. They have amazing salsa and bean dip starters. The skirt steak plate is to die for. Prices are very reasonable, portions on the larger side and they have a nice selection of draft Mexican lagers. Highly recommended!
