I can not say enough wonderful things about Ms. Ross, Chelsey, and Ms. Bernal! If there were more stars, Id give every possible one to this practice! If you are reading these reviews, you are probably considering what I was 2 years ago...Divorce. Hands down, my divorce was the lowest point in my life, and my main concern was the welfare of my 2 young children. Youre probably nervous about who you choose to represent you during this difficult time. Divorce can be expensive, so you want to make sure that you hire the right person in the beginning. You can stop attorney shopping now - choose Yusuf Ross Law PLLC, and you will not be disappointed! Ms. Ross and her staff guided me every step of the way and answered each of my questions very patiently during this whole process, and it felt as if I had the A-Team behind me the entire time! They became like an extended family for me during this whole process! Ms. Ross, Chelsey, and Ms. Bernal are consummate professionals. Firstly, Ms. Rosss resume is not lacking - Her education, training, and experiences (not to mention all of the accolades and awards she has received over the years) speak to her capabilities. She is creative problem-solver, her knowledge of law is impressive, and her analytical skills are exceptional. She thinks fast on her feet, and no small detail is missed with her! Secondly, their communication skills - They value educating their clients and keeping you as up to date as possible (even if that means that they dont have any updates), and you will never complain about a lack of information or details. (They even send emails confirming that they have received your email!) Thirdly, their compassion, integrity and honesty - Ms. Ross will give you her honest opinion (even if it is one that you may not like), and all three ladies are women of character, reliability, and trustworthiness. They dont sink to other peoples levels in the heat of the moment, and if they tell you they are going to do something, you can count on it that they will keep their promise. Lastly, organization - In this field, it is absolutely paramount to be able to collect information, organize it, and then keep track of it all. The old fashioned paper-trail and proof is of the utmost importance. Yusuf Ross Law PLLCs organization is unlike anything I have ever seen before (and I am a type-A organized personality). I had the privilege of working with Emily and her team for over a year combating an unexpected, vexatious custody enforcement and modification. Despite the hurdle of not having the ability to meet, and the significant time difference due to living overseas, Emily and her team were consistently in communication and made significant efforts to work remotely with me. Emily truly cared about my family, our situation, and understood the weight the ruling would have on our future. Emily passionately and effectively advocated for my family during our trial, leading us to get the outcome we were hoping for. This law firm behaved like a firm should treat its clients. To say that I was merely satisfied is an understatement. Mrs. Ross behaviour was such that I received more than I had expected from a law firm. Why so? In a civil case in 1997, the lawyer who took on the case for my late wife and I almost had the case thrown out of court due to their negligence and failed follow-through. Hence, I kept a weary eye with Mrs. Ross. With her, I was never disappointed.

Emily Ross represented me in both my divorce and modification lawsuits and I was extremely pleased with the services provided. This process is never easy, but throughout the entirety of both cases I knew that she was looking out for me at all times. Never did I feel that I was just a dollar sign to her, which mattered incredibly during such an emotionally (and financially!) draining time. I would happily recommend Emily to anyone that finds themselves in need of an attorney to represent you in the family courts.

I was very fortunate to have Emily as my attorney. She was very thorough and handled herself with the highest integrity and professionalism. This gave me a decided advantage over the other side who couldn t match her level, even though the other side charged their client more to get their client less. I could tell it truly mattered to Emily that she do her honest best for her client, me in this case. What more could you ask.

As someone who knew nothing about what to do once I learned my ex-husband had filed for divorce, I was given Emilys name. From the moment I sat down with Emily during consultation, both she and her legal assistant, Amanda, were so helpful and understanding. It was nice to be heard and be worked with rather than be led down a path I wasnt sure about. Both Emily and Amanda kept me up to date throughout the divorce process in an extremely timely manner, and explained things to where there were no surprises along the way. I always felt comfortable reaching out to either Emily or Amanda whenever I had questions about anything and knew I would receive a quick response. I felt confident and informed throughout the entire process. In my opinion, they go above and beyond and I could not more highly recommend this team.

Emily was my voice of reason during my divorce proceedings. I would never have been able to hold it together without Emily being my guide through the difficult process. When I made the initial call to her in doing my research for who I would want to represent me, she had me with her expressions of sympathy toward me and the emotional toll this sort of thing can play on a person. Im from out of town and needed someone who could take care of things when I couldnt be there - I relied on and trusted Emily implicitly to take care of those things for me. Not being tech savvy Emily had to come up with inventive ways to get me things I needed when I needed them. Heaven forbid that I ever need the services of a divorce lawyer again, but if I do I would certainly consider using Emily again.

Emily Ross represented me regarding a child custody modification. I had my own ideas going in on what it should look like. She asked very specific questions and had me consider options and consequences I hadnt thought of. She also walked me through what the process would look like and my course of action if my proposed modification was contested. In the end, my modification was approved and not contested by my ex-wife. I believe this was attributed directly to the way she crafted the modification and counsel she gave me regarding my communication with my ex-wife. Ms Ross was very professional and I felt completely comfortable with her representing me. Shes definitely worth consulting with regarding any legal family matter. I appreciate the work that she did and would not hesitate to use her again in the future.

Emily represented my case with compassion and care. She took the time listen to me and provide professional advise for my particular case. She paid special attention to my personal situation easing tension in an already difficult time. Emily always responded promptly and never left loose ends, she is a great legal representative as long as we do our part! I highly recommend her legal advice.
