This spot is great for families! It offers plenty of camping space and easy access to scenic trails, making it the perfect destination for outdoor adventures with kids or groups. The trails are manageable for all ages, and the campground is peaceful and well-maintained.

So many changes and updates. There are plenty of picnic places, trails, wildlife (squirrels, ducks, turtles, and a few others). The maintenance exceeds from the past. Can be a place to relax and enjoy a picnic or educational walk about the park or BOTH. Playground: Some are closed due to needing up grades.

I always love going to Brackenridge Park and enjoying the trails and walking through the areas feeding the ducks, laying on the grass or bike riding. It is a very nice park and close to museums that you can enjoy also the San Antonio zoo and near other venues Breckenridge Park is always a good bet for a good time.

Due to the flood, this algae is growing crazy in this part of the Breckenridge Park river flow .. gorgeous pic op!! I love coming through here during the week Picnic area: Great picnic areas are available. Park is well kept, very minimal pests!!

A beautiful place to eat lunch, enjoy the scenery, and get some sunshine. Clean and amazing. Dog-friendliness: People were walking their dogs but it never felt intrusive during my meal. There was a silent hum of respectfulness among all park goers. There were also extremely plentiful resources for dog owners (and I say this as a dog owner) such as eco-friendly bag dispensers and trash cans along the way. Picnic area: Clean, welcoming, inviting. Others were enjoying their lunches, but there was neither a feeling of seclusion nor crowding. Simply peaceful.

Brackenridge is such a lovely large small park if that makes sense. There are a bunch of trails within and surrounding it and is walking distance from the zoo and other aesthetic spots around the Broadway area. It s such a sweet energetic spot to have a picnic or just play in the grass in some friends Toilets: I don t know if there s restrooms within brackenridge (if there are I haven t found them) but there is a spot near the zoo s little train ride where you can use a public restroom

I hadn t been here for some time. We decided to have lunch here after the Botanical Gardens and they have a pavilion that we sat at and it was very clean. The grandkids enjoyed the day and we also took a little train ride while we were there. The wait was a little long since it was the weekend which is understandable. But it would be nice if they had more coverage for shade for when there are long lines and more seating for the wait. All in all Brackenridge Park is nice for the family.

Really like the park. Very chill and relaxing. Kids dropped in a fishing line only to catch dirty water and snags. Turtles were probably happy about the lost hotdog bait. The 2 mile train ride will drop you at Witte Museum, Do-seum , and Japanese Sunken Gardens. Enough to make a very enjoyable day out of it, for a six dollar train ride. Only lament, lots of bottles and trash throughout the forest next to the zoo-train tracks.
