I am a member of the Houston Texans Fan Council of San Antonio and often go to Natives on Sundays to watch the Texans play when they are on the road. Natives never disappoints. The atmosphere is awesome and super festive. Service is always top-notch, and the food is great!

Yesterday we went to watch the Cowboys game. The place did not have enough wait staff for this event and the place was packed. So service was horrible, pizza cold and pale looking. Asked waitress for them to reheat the pizza but she said cooks told her they could not do it. That was definitely not good customer service!! It took so long to get more drinks of any kind! I also had a friend that came late at 9pm and she wanted to order food and we were told kitchen was closed already. What kind of a place closes kitchen during any kind of sports event?? This place has either poor management or yall just suck!! Definitely will not be returning with friends and family.

The menu is pretty appetizing but some times the food does take long. If your food is cold they bring you an apology and reheat it. We enjoy the sports on their tvs on special events the cover is affordable. Depending on your wait staff you might have your cup refilled quickly or you might have to keep waiting. Over all the wings are delicious so we keep coming back. Update 9/2021 Great experience this time around. Food was delicious. Great service. 6/2022 Improving each time, the server was great! The food was delicious and out drinks were always full. 9/22/24 Great customer service it was Sunday football and the whole place was packed with football fantastics it was so loud but the wings and pizza were delicious. This is the place to watch the game!

No one greets at this place even though they are standing there. I guess their conversations are more important. I picked up to go and girl did not ask if I wanted my coins back she just assume keep them. Even though it s only coins it adds up at the end and who keeps those coins? I m sure not the restaurant. Food was delicious. Service was unorganized once we walked in. We sat at a table and after waiting a while someone informed us we needed to move over to a different section because they didnt have anyone servicing that section. After moving to a section we still wait 15 min before we got attended to and finally got our menu and ordered drinks. Food took a while to be served. Took about 40 min since we walked in to finally get our food with only 2 celebrations going on and plenty of seating.

I honestly don t know what happened to Native Grill! It used to be so good, but the last 4 times I have come here, whether curbside or dine in, it s just been a disappointment. Going in to dine, it s a nice atmosphere, with alot of tv s to watch, but the beer isn t as cold as it should be especially since it s draft. They are always short staffed and the wait is terrible. When ordering curbside, the time frame is always a 25 min wait, which is fine, but when you pick up the food, it s cold. The wings used to be big and so flavorful. Now they are just small and greasy. I asked for Parmesan cheese and they said it s $2. I ordered multiple pizzas and no cheese or peppers were provided. Also the pizza is very thin. It s not advertised as thin crust pizza, but it definitely is! You are better off buying a frozen pizza and bag of wings from the grocery store! Don t waste your money here!

This place was awesome me and my boyfriend went to eat there after work. David was are server and he was amazing. He was funny and polite and was very helpful. Never GET THE WAITER SERGIO ( I think thats his name), worst experience ever. I gave this place more than 3 chances. This guy will LITERALLY TAKE OFF right after you order one item. Its not worth the hype. The reviews let us down on this one. No one finished anything. Everything had weird textures, and the flavors werent working for us either. We ordered wings, pretzels, flatbread pizza, onion rings, and a few other things I cant remember because it was that disappointing. This was a one and done for us. Also, I had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes past the time they said our food would be ready.

This is the second time that we have been here. No lie the first time was great ....this time was horrible. There was a screaming child. I had to order my water and ranch twice. The first cocktail I ordered was missing ingredients and had to send it back (I basically got an 8$ lemonade). Finally twenty minutes later our food came, which was sub par at best. The thousand Island Burger says that its drenched in sauce, but that was grossly over exaggerated. And my club sandwich... Well Ill post a picture and I think youll agree its not worth 13$. I would have given them no stars given the opportunity.

I passed by this place thinking it would be a good place to eat. There was barely any ppl there today. First we had waited a while to even get drinks (which were terrible ). I sit here , writing a review , in this very restaurant. It s not busy . But the service is slow . I ve been waiting over 20 minutes for my server and check . Yes , I ve asked for him . The restaurant is filthy and Drinks are terrible. We ordered an old fashion and a blackberry margarita. We got the meal for two . The server did not clarify if we wanted breaded or naked so the first batch of wings was breaded. I didn t even complain. Came twice within the last week and both times service was great. Both our waiters Nash and Victoria were awesome and food came out at a reasonable prep time. The atmosphere is very enjoyable. I stopped going to BWW because the music was super loud to the point where I cant hear ppl Im talking to. Plus its always packed at all the buffalo wild wings locations. Here at Native they play good music at a volume to where I can have a conversation with someone comfortably and both times we were seated quickly. Traditional wings are the bomb.. especially the hot honey ones. If I wanted to be picky, I guess my only concern was my wifes burger slider was kinda over seasoned/salted on our first visit. Draft beers are huge and the fried pickles are tasty. We will be returning soon.

We had just returned home from Las Vegas, and were looking forward to a great visit to this Grill. We were sat in a reasonable time, and asked for a drink order promptly. At the time we ordered our drinks- we ordered a couple appetizers. Those amazingly came out with our drinks! Which was good! Quick that was!! When, it came to ordering our main meal, our server was busy with a HUGE tabletop-20 or so Our food took FOREVER (45 minutes) to come out.. they were out of boneless wings, and other food. Cooks in the back were playing profane music loudly. Mind you, my two minor children are with me. Management nowhere in sight to complain. Wings were soaked in sauce- presentation was bad. And to that I say, good point Ill keep that in mind next time because this back and forth is going on too long. So! I love that I can get FRIED wings and pizza under one roof, and they have plenty of flavors to keep it interesting. Price could be worse, could be better BUT that family bundle of a pizza, fries and 15 wings for 30$ is top notch feeds about 4 people with self control or 3 people who believe in mind over matter. Fried pickles are great BUUUUT a little too salty. Now I wont say the pizza is the BEST but its pretty good. Wings are great! Doesn t beat wingstop but who can right? But again, the value is getting both fried (not baked) wings and pizza under the same roof. Service, kinda slow especially during lunch so ask for the check early or ask your boss for a 1.5hr lunch.

Went there for my first time to watch the Houston Texans beat the sh!+ out of the Browns in the first round of the playoffs. This was my first visit to this restaurant. Even with a full house both the food and the service was great. Will definitely recommend and come back. Parking: This restaurant is on the same property as Ingram Park Mall. I work 3 blocks from the Ingram Park location and we used to go often for lunch. We had to stop going because the service go insanely slow and the food quality went down. I went on Sat 12/30/23 and we ordered a loaded tots w/EXTRA sour cream and a personal pizza and an appetizer (cheese curds). The appetizer came out w/our order, not before...and the cheese curds were burnt. They did replace them, which was fine, but the fact that they gave us burnt curds was just wrong. Then, the loaded tots were dry and had NO sour cream. I had to tell the server that I asked for EXTRA sour cream and the tots had no sour cream at all. The bacon bits were burnt also, and the cheese and tots themselves were just bland and dry. The pizza was good tho. It took over 40 minutes just to get our order and the appetizer didnt even come out early, it came out w/the order and we had to send it back anyway because they burnt. The front door of the restaurant is very dirty, so is the ground where you enter. It looks like someone spilled something there a long time ago and no one cleaned it. All in all, the service and food has significantly decreased and i dont think it would require much effort to back to how they were when we first started going.

Went for dinner and drinks tonight. Food and drinks were great as always but our server Ricky was awesome! Service was really great! He was super attentive and just an all around great guy! We love Native but Ricky was great tonight! Keep up the great work!

Tried to go on a Sunday but there was an hour n half wait. So we went today Friday about 2pm. Got the family special wings, pizza and fries for $26. Well you get what you pay for. Wasnt good. The hot wings werent hot just vinegar taste and the supposed to be garlic asiago wings were more like naked wings no flavor. Waitress was super nice and attentive though.

We had great service at the Texans opening day watch party by a guy. He was literally running around the restaurant helping his customers. I felt bad for him, definitely short staffed but he did awesome. All the food was great except the appetizer. We thought we would try the new steak fingers, and they were awful. Again hats off to our server, bar staff, and kitchen staff that day.

I asked for extra lettuce for my dry burger, they gave me a one-inch piece of jalapenos, they gave me a small piece and they charged me dearly for the extra lettuce at $1.00, please, what a terrible service.

Went to natives for my first time this passed Thursday with my husband who had been there once before. When you enter it was pretty obvious that there werent many servers at that time which we went a little after 12pm when we were sat down it didnt take long for our waitress to get our drink order and appetizer which was loaded fries took them awhile to the appetizer out but it was good. We had 4 people in our party so we ordered the 18 meat pizza and 20 lemon pepper wings when it came out it was all hot the wings where nice and crunchy and the pizza had that cheese pull that you would see in the advertisements it was good and they make their own pizza sauce. As we were finishing our meal our waitress had started to ignor us and also be slow we had ask for a to go box it took her 20mins to give us one bc she was buissy flirting it up with the two tables full of male costumers then when we asked for the check she gave it to us then left to the same two tables making us sit there and wait for another 20 mins til she came and got our card and the check so we could finally pay which took her 10 mins to return with our card and recite to sign mind you it was not that buissy she was just buissy flirting with the two tables I mean I get you want tips but dont ignore people who are trying to leave. Overall we were full after eating with left overs to take home but the waitresses should be able to be attentive to all tables equally.

At first I was going to give the place a 1/5 for service. My party and I were sat promptly when we arrived; although this was the case, we were never greeted by a waitress. After 15 minutes I flagged down the hostess to get us a new server and we got PARIS. He changed the whole experience around, gave exceptional service and made sure our experience was great. Best service I ve received in this establishment and I am a constant customer. Will request for him every time. Thank you for turning a 1/10 into a 10/10 Paris.

Our server Ariana was attentive and so friendly. We went on Tuesday when the wings are $0.75 and the order of ten was too much for the two of us! Great size and value. Don t skip the potato skins either. Really great spot to catch a game, plus you could tell the employees were close knit which is always a good sign.

So Ive been here a total of 3 times. Each time seems to be about the same on the second one they convinced me to sign up for their app for 10 free wings. which I did so we returned yesterday for my 10 free wings, my husband and I ordered Long Island iced teas. We asked for the original Long Island iced tea. Because we have found, we are not fond of their brand of Long Islands. it took 4 attempts for me to be able to redeem my free wings. We ended up getting there long islands and not the long islands we ordered. I didnt even drink mine because it didnt even taste good.. the ranch was very runny, the cheese on my husbands philly cheesesteak was very runny. All 3 times I have been here the Ranch dressing is like water. However our queso with our chips & dip was very good. I Would have thought that the same queso would have came on my husbands Philly Cheese Steak but I was very very watery. I do have to say all 3 times I have gone my wings have been very good but that has been about the only thing.. 3 strikes and your out!!! If it is wings you are looking for this is the right place. If youre looking for something different or a nice bar, this is not the place.

Wings were great. Flavor and texture were great and the flavors were balanced. Service was wanting. Waitress , knowing this was my first time there, spent too much time with friends that were waiting to be seated. Not against having fun at work, but not at the expense of the customer. Never got my refill. Still, would recommend and will go back.
