I love it here. Peaceful! There was a momma cat and her kittens running and climbing trees. The water sounded so peaceful running under the bridge. I don t know if it s growing up with all the stories but there is a bit of an eerie sense too.

Hello this is a good hiking place very secluded be very careful lots of snakes I ve encountered quite a few even on the pavement. If you are on your phone distracted you u will almost step on one they are baby ones. I ve seen some deer coyote and bobcat with her babies be on high alert at all times there s also empty bullet casings out there all the time. This is a good park to hike but you have to be on high alert with all the wildlife that you encounter. It s very secluded I don t recommend it at night at all there was also a man he was all tweaked out last time I was walking through there. There s also animals that get abandoned there .

Nice park for walking, exploring, or enjoying nature. Have you heard about the Donkey Bridge Lady Legend? Apparently the bridge area is haunted, LOL it all started when a farming family living outside San Antonio met a horrific end. The farmer set fire to his home, murdered his children, and left his wife horribly disfigured. Her fingers were melted down to stumps, creating hoof-like appendages, and the skin on her face was charred and gave her face an elongated, donkey-like appearance. Grieving the loss of her children and the betrayal of her husband, she haunts Elm Creek and torments those who try to cross. #eerie

I came to visit from Austin, my brother and I came here at night around 11pm! Honestly it was a bit spooking, I really felt watched and the sound of the river from the bridge adds horror lol, there s not enough light at night! pretty scary

I went yesterday with my boyfriend during sunset and we loved it. We ve encountered spiders, and huge trust me, so many frogs and little toads, and we saw a scorpion! The trees were beautiful, but we only explored just a little, hopefully next time!
