I have been to other Tommy Bahama Restaurants and loved them, so I was anxious to give this a try. The food and service were excellent, but it is walk-up ordering. The tables are mostly outside, but they have misters and fans to make it a little more comfortable in the SA heat. We were able to snag one of the few tables closer to the bar that was in air conditioning. Vegetarian options: Several salads on the menu. The grilled chicken with mango salad was excellent. Parking: Close parking is limited, but there are ample lots around LaCantera.

We ate here tonight and although the service and atmosphere were great the food and alcohol were not. All the drinks were super strong all you could taste was the liquor. The shrimp tacos tasted only like Cole slaw and the kids sliders were dry and burnt. I was excited to give the a try but we won t be back

We absolutely love coming here since they opened. We miss Hawaii and going to Tommy. This is much closer! Jason is amazing. My husband & I brought our dog here to eat on the patio during our vacation trip to San Antonio. It was a last moment decision that we were pleasantly surprised by. I got the blackened shrimp salad and he got the blackened shrimp tacos. This was the best shrimp I ve had in YEARS! The service was awesome, you place the initial order at the counter then your server brings anything else during your meal. Very efficient. We also got the frozen Piña Colada & Mai Thai cocktails . They were delicious and boy oh boy, they were sneakily strong! Our dog also got plenty of attention from the waitstaff who made it a point to speak to him even though they obviously could not pet him due to food safety and hygiene reasons. This place is worth a visit! The atmosphere on the patio is fun and classy, they have fans and misters for hot days and great music with great vibes.

Atmosphere is really cool. I love the beach and open outdoors vibes. The food and drinks were also very good. We tried the coconut shrimp and chips and guacamole which were very good. I genuinely can t stand the order at a counter and having no dedicated server concept. Anyone that walks around can help, and it s annoying to us. It took 30 mins to get our drinks which ended up coming out at the same time the food did, so again just not the best process in my opinion. Took even longer to get the final check. Most likely won t go back for a while unless there s an open spot at the bar where hopefully the service is faster and better.

We were slightly confused by the ordering system you have to first go up to the counter and order something then put your card down. After that you get a flag with a number on it and full table service. Other than that, the food, service and atmosphere were all fabulous! And the live music was great! Loved this place. The food was tasty and a nice little variety to choose from. My husband and I love a good cocktail and their mojito was so good. I moved to San Antonio from NYC and I finally found a spot with good refreshing cocktails. Johann was an excellent waiter. Catered to our needs! Since we came with our toddler . The bar is fun and great for drinks on a Friday afternoon. Cocktails and food were excellent . The setup and service is a bit clunky. They are different from other Marlin Bars in that you have order when you walk in (like a fast food restaurant) and then it becomes full service. You have a numbered flag on the table for a server to find you. We watched these poor guys walking around searching for numbers, looking lost. Recommendation: assign areas for servers. When everyone takes care of you no one takes care of you. Also, the wait staff didn t tell us that if we spend $25 on food and beverages we would receive 25% one item in the store. My husband and I had gone into the store and were told the great news! We understand they just opened and are working out the kinks, so don t let that stop you. Remember to hit the store for a discount!

Mr. Clean, the server, is the best! Drinks were amazing and my son loved how their spirit free drinks were still fancy enough! The corn dip is out of this world! I want a swimming pool full of it! Atmosphere is great, food ok (only got appetizers though). The service however is terrible. Not the servers themselves but the lack of organization and attention. All the tables around me were constantly looking for servers to come by and asking for the manager every 15 mins. We only sat for drinks and apps and the service experience was horrible. For context, I m writing this as I wait for one drink and server to come back which has already been over 20-mins. Maybe once they have been open a little longer they will get the hang of things but today was definitely not a good day

We stopped by last night and it was our first time here and we had such a fun time. We chose to sit at the bar and so glad we did because everything was fantastic. The atmosphere was so relaxing, especially with the live music. He played some great songs and interacted with guest, which everyone seemed to love and singalong with. Jaclyn recommended the raspberry jalapeño Paloma and the corn dip, which was delicious! Just make sure to save room for their Pina colada cake, because it is amazing! She also told us about the rewards club, which is definitely worth it. We made some new friends with people around us so overall we had such a great experience. Thanks Jaclyn for the great convos and the great service! We are definitely going to come back and try more things on the menu.
