Great Food. Great Drinks. Great Vibe. I hope they stay open as Im hearing that theyre going thru a bunch of ownership changes and Not paying a bunch of staff members and having checks that is not clearing with their banks . Yikes. I went to the bathroom while my husband was visiting with a friend. Our 2 cell phones & our block was stolen by bartenders and managemen. I came back and my husband and asked management. They told us that had not idea whT we were speaking about. We had to threatened by police and tracking information. ALL OF A SUDDEN THE MANGER BROUGHT OUR PHONES. THE UNCANNY PART WAS THEY GAVE US SOMEBODY ELSES CHARGER. THEY SUCKKKKK AND AS AN SA RES. I will never ever go back and make sure I spread the message. ITS OBVIOUSLY A RACET. Im so disappointed. Me and my friends would go often to previous location . Ive been going back at new location and food and service seemed good but slow for a while. I went back today and food service was slow . I had upgraded my fries and when I received they were regular . I thought ok simple mistake . Ill just let them know about it . Well one of the staff was so rude and annoyed by me letting him know this . I didnt understand why the attitude and eye rolling over something so simple . So disappointed

The service was terrible. No one helped us we had to go to the bar to order food and drinks (2ppl). Then a server finally comes to our table to tell me they are out of pizza and I see pizzas being served to other tables. And then we were told it was too late to order fries with our order?? Went for a friend s birthday gathering on a Saturday night. One server for many tables. food was delayed they had a menu for reverse happy hour from Tuesday/ Sunday 9-12am on the table . When it was time to pay only to find out the drinks weren t on happy hour they refuse to honor the false advertisement on the table . Understaffed on the weekends. Don t go here with big groups it was a disappointment.

Had a stellar Friday night at Francis Bogside with my wife and friends! The decor is simply stunning, and the glassware truly pops. It s evident they take immense pride in this place. Im looking forward to making this place our bar. The vibe is incredible- high-end pub aesthetic. All of the little details - the barmens attire, the glassware, the statues and lighting - it all comes together to make a drink feel like an event. You can go casual, but you wouldnt feel at all out of place dressed to the nines for an evening out. Went for the brunch today and the food was great, our waitress was accommodating and friendly, and the manager made it a point to come visit and thank us for coming in. I cant wait to go back.

I think this was the first Sunday that they were open for brunch so the waitstaff was a bit unfamiliar with the menu but they went above ans beyond to answer all our questions and ensure us a memorable dining experience. We had the baked mussels (they were good but too much breading), a build your own omelette which was excellent, and the irish breakfast which was very good. We stopped here for a drink while walking around the historical district during Fiesta. Arrived after 10pm on a Friday night. They were playing 80s-90s music which was fun. The service was good as were our beers. The music was really loud so we had to sit on the same side of a booth to hear each other. The crowd was lively but not obnoxious. Seems like a good townie bar/place to hang out with friends. It was during March Madness & they had games playing on several TVs so that was also good. We didnt get food so cant comment on that. Well be going back.

I ve been coming to this place for over 4 years now & always had good experiences!! Last night was my first time visiting since the pandemic hit & I was so excited to have their pizza & wings once again after so long . and it was definitely not as expected. The pizza dough tasted as if it came from a frozen pack very dry and just had an unauthentic taste to it. If I had to explain the taste, it reminded me of a pizza bought in the frozen aisle - A cardboard crust!!! I paid for pepperoni and jalapeño pizza - there were more jalapeños than pepperoni & the jalapeño over powered everything. It was nothing like the pizza I used to get the quality and taste wasn t there this time either. I wouldn t recommend others to order this menu item if they were looking forward to the pizzas they had prior. As for my wings, I remember always getting more back in the day or maybe they were bigger?? $8 for 5 tiny wings??? Maybe throw in the 6th wing or add more celery or carrots to make it worth the purchase. The quality and taste were there though but they weren t a decent enough size. Drinks - Luckily, the drinks I ordered were good! Can t go wrong with their $6 cocktails at night. Music/DJ was great. Atmosphere is always nice in there. Overall, I give 4 stars - this is based on music, stop here & drinks Why not more? I mainly come for the food/drinks but due to the quality I m just gonna have to go with 4. Then again, they re a pub and not a restaurant - which I understand.

So the 5 star was actually going to be a 1 star but Nick the bartender saved this terrible review. My lady and I ordered a drunk and the bartender in the yellow Maui shirt stated this is not that kind of bar and walked away from us without even offering a substitute drink....very snub attitude. Nick came over we explained the situation and he came up with an amazing drink that I will call The Nick. A little bit of customer service goes a long way these days. There has been live music both times Ive been here. The bar is amazing! The staff is great and the drinks they put out are incredible! I have only had the pizza here so far, but it is magical. The four of us stopped in for a couple late night Friday cocktails. Very nice bar. Music was so loud that we couldn t hear each other all seated at a high top table. Their Mezcal drink, Pillow Talk, was not a favorite. Got the Scottie s Pimm, Gin Cocktail, which was a lot more decent. I m interested in going back to checkout their food menu and backyard seating.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Very laid back with helpful staff. Fried Brussel sprouts were very good, Id have liked them cooked just a touch longer so more of them would have been crispy, but still delicious. Lots of bar seating, some semi private booths, and a few tables. Beer selection on draft was ok, not big, but good choices.

Sarah was a lovely bartender with quick whit and even quicker bar skills. The honeysuckle is my favorite here. At 5 or 6 dollars it is the best classic cocktail happyhour in San Antonio.
