First time coming here and had a wonderful experience! Our waitress Claire was so nice and attentive .. she was a sweetheart. The drinks were spot on and delicious! The atmosphere was great. Food was good for fried bar food not greasy like some we have tried. Music was all genras ..all was missing was tejano songs lol..hint hint.. it was clean and no smoking which was a plus for us. This will definitely be our go to spot next time we stay on this side of town. Keep up the good work!

Ive been to this bar quite often and never had any issues however this time myself and by boyfriend went and started playing pool. A little bit later our friend shows up and tries to order my drink in English. The manager assumes hes drunk and refused service. I told her hes from Cuba and wanted to try to order my drink in English because he doesnt speak English. She she still refused service. 100% was discrimination and I will be sending em email to corporate

Parking: Its a nice sports bar to go play pool and throw darts at another games. I wouldnt recommend eating anything on the food menu unless you like microwave food and the runs. I dont like the fact that you have to people and entry fee and $10 to play pool, and the drinks are expensive as well. But if you want to go somewhere to just hang out and chill and play some games this would be a nice place to go

Do not recommend for any persons of color. As soon as my Hispanic husband and I walked in we were bombarded by what looks like a bartender, we didn t even get to get a good look at the place before we were confronted. Asked us for our IDs, asked us to pay for our pool games and darts UP FRONT and IMMEDIATELY, we felt very uncomfortable and un-welcomed, all within one minute of walking into this establishment. I told the bartender that that we were meeting someone and we would like to greet them first before we made any decisions. We finally were let in and met up with our friend who was white, he said he has never ever been carded and greeted at the door and we were given the wrong pricing on the games. We left and will not be returning. Thanks to the bad built bartender, we took our business elsewhere. Oh and my friend waited over 25 minutes for his one side of fries, and his bartended thought it was funny.

Its just meh. The staff is friendly. The vibes are good. Its a chill spot, but the waiter needed manager approval before serving me another drink just because Ive already ordered x number of drinks. I can respect a bartenders liability when a customer is over-poured, but I wasnt even close to drunk. The fried food is very good, but I spent a collective $100 on drinks and food and left completely sober. Drinks took about 10 minutes to come to the table. This is a place to play pool, and it also has drinks; this is not a place to just drink. Its also pricey, given the side of town its on. But if those things dont bother you, then Im sure youll enjoy it.

My friend and I have been going to Eddie s, nearly every Wednesday, for the past year. We went for 2 key factors; the AMAZING bartender Phil and karaoke. When we attended this past Wednesday (7/30/23,) Phil informed us that he just found out karaoke would not be happening anymore. We were super bummed and ask if we could play 1 game of pool for free since there was no communication about the karaoke. He said that was fine since they were dead, so they wouldn t be losing money by us using a table. After 25-30 min of us playing pool, we decided to head out for the evening. As we were saying goodbye to Phil, this awful excuse of an assistant manager stated, in a very passive aggressive tone, Phil you didn t charge them for pool. After explaining the karaoke situation, she proceeded to state that we weren t leaving until we paid. I explained to her that Phil was simply compensating for the 30 min we drove due to a lack in communication. She stated that she didn t care, we played pool for over an hour and that we had to pay. I simply asked what the repercussions would be if we didn t pay, since we consistently bring in business weekly and are regulars. She stated, I have all the power right now, so I will permanently ban you. Being taken by surprise, we handed Phil money for the pool as she continued to badger us. He said we didn t have to stay there and listen so we left. THEY FIRED HIM THE NEXT DAY. Clearly the real story of what happened was not presented, so that s why I am writing this. Phil was the heart and soul of this location, and they terminated him because of a poor choice in assistant management. A true sad sight to see. #justice4phil

We travel from out of town and came here to play pool because we heard wonderful stories. Nobody drank excessively and it was my husband s birthday. They cut us off with no explanation and the manager acted like she didn t know anything. They charge $11 to play pool for the whole night per person which is absolutely ridiculous. The waitress was rude and kept taking things from our table without even saying, excuse me. The atmosphere with our party was great, but the attitude from the bartenders, and the waitress or manager was very unprofessional, if I can leave zero stars I completely would. I am highly disappointed, and so was everyone else in our group, you cut us off, but you don t mind us playing pool quite ridiculous .

Are you reading your less than appealing and less than you hoped for reviews? You definitely do not respond to them. However I do see you responding telling people thank you for their awesome review. But youre not apologizing for the hard times other people have had do to your staff and it looks like most of it is recent. Just because of the reviews alone in the fact that you did not respond to any of them makes me feel uncomfortable to visit your establishment. You seem to be a little on the expensive side and you seem to like to overcharge people. I dont see any apologies on here whatsoever for any mistakes that you made on your end. Its scary to visit an establishment that doesnt like to admit their mistakes. And hey mistakes are just mistakes they can be corrected, but not if youre not willing to own up to them. I really do hope that you are holding your staff responsible for giving good customer service and for not giving it as well. If you want to have your drinks rationed like a child, this is the place for you. I took Uber to this pool room so I could relax and let my hair down, but this establishment is so concerned with liability and reprocussions, that they strictly monitor your drink input. Me along with my husband and a couple friends had come to the bar to celebrate a congratulations to a marriage . Previously me and my husband came to this location and Phil was absolutely amazing! Very friendly, respect and gave the absolute best customer service! But the 2nd visit with our friends, Bianca had HORRIBLE customer service. She cut off a friend of ours when he wasn t even close to being drunk. He had about 3 drinks and was cut off. She was speaking to us very rude, asked me to sign my receipt but didn t give me a pen. Was speaking very rudely to our friends. As well as other customers . She was cutting people off after only 1-2 drinks. We enjoy this place, but Bianca was the worst. If Phil is ever working we would be more than happy to go. Otherwise , we all won t be going. Being a bartender previously, you should know when and when not to cut off your customers. Customers service has to be TOP TEIR. very disappointed, management you should want good people to represent what you guys have help create. Invest in good people.

My one star is for Phil. He is a kind soul with great customer service. He could teach Charly a thing or two because she is the reason why I couldn t leave anymore stars. This child had the nerve to cut me off after one shot, that I didn t even shoot! I was sipping on it! I wasn t visibly drunk by any stretch of the imagination. I wasn t stumbling, slurring my words, incoherent, obnoxious or intoxicated. The way she tried to handle my friend and I was more than insulting. I m sure that she didn t try to cut anyone else off after sipping on one drink. Management, please send her back to training because she must ve slept through the customer service part as well as the TABC guidelines she tried to throw in my face. I always have a great time here... The bartenders are friendly and serve great drinks... Great quality pool tables and table tennis... I also love sitting down and playing a great game of chess... A variety of things to keep you entertained... I think thats why every time I go I spend hours here.... One of new favorite spots

Definitely not the Eddies of the past. Only one employee during playoffs. The regulars have been pushed out. The tables are for bar patrons not real shooters. A/C does not hold up for a big crowd. If you wanna shoot pool go elsewhere.

Good price for shooting/ practicing pool on any night. $3 all night on Monday nights. Drinks were good, but they need to train their bartenders on what the prices are so they stay consistent.
