Tried to get a drink in here for 10 mins but no one was ever available. I just wanted a soda for the tacos outside. I asked one dude behind the counter if he could help me and he said he wasnt a bar tender so no. I asked even if its for a coke? Still no. Thats cool, I understand but I asked who could help me and he motioned towards all the bartenders dancing on the bar. It was damn near impossible to get their attention and they were up there for like 3 songs. No one ever came to the other side of the bar. The dude just walked away. I get that you cant serve beer but you couldve let one of the bartenders know. It was really awkward trying to to wave down one of the bartenders dancing and even then, not one ever came down.

During a recent visit to San Antonio, I was thrilled to find a Coyote Ugly bar, especially since the one in Dallas closed before I had a chance to experience it. However, my excitement was met with a mix of surprises and letdowns. First impressions were that the bar was much smaller than I had imagined. It had a cozy, dive bar atmosphere that I appreciated. Yet, the size left me wanting more space to move around and enjoy the night. Inside, I expected to see the bartenders performing synchronized dances on the bar, reminiscent of the Coyote Ugly movie scenes. Instead, there was very little of that. Most of the time, only one girl was on the bar, often with a microphone, yelling and screaming at the crowd. This got old quickly and detracted from the experience I had envisioned. One of the more awkward moments was when they promoted body shots. The idea of a lady dancing on you while feeding you a shot felt forced and uncomfortable, rather than fun and engaging. Especially, when we said no multiple times and she kept persistently asking. I think one no is enough and move on. On a positive note, I did get the chance to dance on the bar, which was a highlight of the night. That moment was fun and allowed me to let loose and enjoy myself. Overall, I had higher hopes for Coyote Ugly in San Antonio. The reality was a dull experience with missed opportunities to create the lively, entertaining atmosphere I was hoping for.

Absolute blast! So much fun, great vibe Good music through digital jukebox Bartenders are great, that are 100% vested everyone having fun. My bartender made my drink exactly how I asked and remembered it to be from back home. Vegetarian options: No food Dietary restrictions: Typical adult beverages Parking: No parking There are plenty of paid parking lots of parking garages in the area. The cost could be up to $30.00 for over two hours depending on where you park. Some lots are $5.00 but youll walk many blocks to get to the Riverwalk.

Was a great atmosphere and cool staff other than the over weight manager. They have a touchtunes jutebox obviously ppl can play music on it . Or so you would think It s all good just so it s rap. Start playing rock (different decades & different styles) and will it will get skipped so rap can play. It s very clear that a certain race isn t welcome in this establishment. The manger I m referring to is most definitely a racist & has no business being in charge of business. Absolutely pathetic Worst coyote ugly I have ever been to but they have a prime location for tourists so whatever he does won t mess with business thus it will continue.

I asked the bartender to make a Kamikaze drink and she made it wrong then when i showed her the ingredients of the drink she spilled the first one she made with attitude made it a second time the wrong way then charged me for both. I dont know how she earned any cash on her birthday sash she was wearing tonight i dont even want to go back there again.

Our first time at this Coyote Ugly, weve been to the one in Key West FL when it was open. We got there a little early so we got seats at the bar. Shortly after it got very busy. The bartenders were very good and it was fun watching the dancing and shots. Next time we will sit at a table as you have to keep moving your glass when the bartenders are dancing and sliding on the bar. We were both doing double Makers Mark and the pours were not bad. Some might think the price is high but during the week there is no cover charge and you have the show from the bartenders. Only one slight issue while we were there and security was very quick to escort him outside. Would highly recommend. We had a GREAT time.

Always fun coming here. If you don t like loud bars, this isn t the place for you. They are constantly yelling on the microphone while the music is at full blast! They will also change the songs that you play on the juke box if they don t like it, as they sing and dance along to the songs playing. So you will lose out on money and not get to listen to the song you played if it isn t a good one and they don t like it! Drinks are overpriced but that s expected for a place like this with pretty young women. $5 cover charge, free for veterans!

paid a $20 cover charge (per person) for myself and friends. went to the bar upstairs to order our first drink, gave the bartender our card, and waited for our drinks. 20mins later, no drinks or card. bartender LOST my credit card, continued to search for it and not mention a word to us. and you could tell she lost it because she was using her flashlight to search. we asked her and the bouncer but no one wanted to own up to losing it. they tried to treat us like we were already inebriated. safe to say this place sucks.

We had so much fun here celebrating my birthday a few days ago.. the staff is incredible, the girls working were SO much fun and so engaging with all of the customers. We rallied hard and had the best time. Hope to be back again someday although we are from Oregon so who knows ;) Thanks for a great time Coyote Ugly! (Also a shout out to the bouncers.) My friend was welcomed on the bar to dance.. I recorded the entire time she was on the bar. One of the bouncers then came up and said she was kicking shots over on purpose which she did NOT and wouldnt let us leave said she needed to pay for all the shots at the bar. I have the whole 1.36 minutes recorded when she was on the bar and not 1 shot knocked over. The bouncer was completely unprofessional and rude! End of story we got to leave without having to pay for something she didnt do!!!! I ordered a makers double with coke and was charged $18 dollars which is expected at a downtown bar. Second time i went back to order another the same bartender girl dressed as Harry Potter looked at my money and charged me 3 dollars more which I would have paid had she not looked at my money first and then blurted out the price (I had a $20 in my hand and she charged 21). Also it wasnt makers because I woke up with a hangover the next morning and the reason I spend the extra money on it is to drink with no hangover. Best part about the place was the bear daddy bouncer in the back.

Had a really good experience with one bartender. Was excited to see this place, especially after recently watching the movie. Another bartender took over - extremely rude, arrogant, and unfriendly. Yes, this place makes money. However, we asked a bartender to remake a drink, and then she questions who is paying for it? We asked her 3 times to add it to the 2 open tabs. We even said we well pay for the remade drink, too. Then, the oversized security person intervenes and becomes aggressive. Get a grip! Everyone was there to have a good time - We never asked for free drinks, we asked for a drink to be remade and would pay for both. This is the first, 3 star review Ive ever given. The atmosphere was fun! Find better staff! You have multiple complaints about the same thing!!!! Maybe its time for management to retrain so-called baretenders. SERVICE MATTERS! Ive also read manangements response to reviews! Please dont waste your time! Just retrain your staff to be friendly! Im not sure if they hate women being at the establishment. ????

Spent 6 hours spending hundreds of dollars between my self and my friends. Left around 9pm to go get dinner and came back a few hours later only to be denied entrance due to some guy with a striped shirt that was kicked out earlier per the present person in charge. Some guy with half a head of hair long white goatee and cowboy hat. We asked for a manager and was denied to speak with one. That was the strangest bar experience in over 35 years. never spending money there again, the girls were super sweet but the man tonight with the beard was so rude i wish i never spent as much as i did. DONT come here. The bartenders are absolutely rude. When my friend asked to close her tab they got mad and rolled their eyes and started a fight with our group. When we defended ourselves because we were in shock from them screaming at us from nowhere, they yelled for security as if we had started the fight. Even security was trying to calm them down as we stood there explaining what happened and they were yelling slurs in the background. There are 101 better bars in San Antonio were you get treated with respect that you can go to. Don t put yourself through this misery, it s not worth it.

Tryed to visit this place. Guy that worked there said it opened at 5p. We was there at 4:45p so left. Walked around. Went back at 5p. Same guy was still out front talking to some girls in car. Waited at door til 5:10p to get in. They watched us try dooranf it was locked. After 10mins we walked away. Looked back as we was going back down to riverwalk and the girl got out of car in Coyote ugly cloths and her and fuy that worked there walked to door. Guess they didnt want out business or money.

My wife and I went up to the bar to get a drink and a dude asked us for ID. My wife didn t have hers so we got kicked out. I m 52 and my wife is 50. Use some common sense! The place was dead anyway.

It was better than I expected. Fun atmosphere & the girls are wonderful about including all the women in the fun. I tried to play some music to dance to & they kept skipping over it. Wasted my money. They should have mentioned that they control what plays all the time.

$5 cover charge. The music was way too loud and the bartender could barely hear me when I ordered drinks. The place was pretty dead for a Friday night around 9:30. The scene was mid 40s and up. Bartender was nice and the girls on the bar were entertaining. I wouldn t return knowing there is a cover charge and the music was so loud I couldn t carry on a conversation indoors.

I Wouldn t recommend this place at all had a terrible experience, because I still have the old version of a Georgia license since i turned 18 years old. I m 22 years old but I really don t go out to bars or clubs but the bouncer thought it was fake. why would I have a fake license that says under 21 but you would think the staff would have common sense or be trained to tell the difference between fake ids from different states because you have a lot of tourists coming to the bar.
