Ruiz Healy Art

About the Company

rating: 4.6

Founded in San Antonio, TX in 2006 Ruiz-Healy Art represents an international roster of artists and places emphasis on Latinx and Latin American artists, as well as working with prominent Texas-based artists. Biculturalism and identity discourse plays an important role in several of the artists that we collaborate with. In the spring of 2019, we opened a gallery space in the Upper East Side of New York City that works in tandem with the gallery in San Antonio as a platform to disseminate the artist’s work. The continuous investments in these underrepresented areas have remained a longstanding signature of the gallery program.

Great work. The reception was very low key. I would have tried to have some of the Pan de Muertos cake/bread but the slices were cut too big.

I have attended only twice and each time it has been a pleasant experience. It is a wonderful space for contemplation.

A nice gallery space featuring contemporary art. Their focus seems to be established and mid career artists. Not really the place for more challenging, avant garde exhibitions but overall decent showings.

This is by far the best gallery in South Texas. They are very knowledgeable and super to work with. The owner has a PHD in art history and can guide you in your journey through the gallery.
