This was our second time visiting and again we were disappointed. My child s mac & cheese was dry over cooked. Our burgers were cold and tasteless. We ordered a round of beers and again they were room temp.The service and atmosphere is great!

1st time there. It was very disappointing. From the time we walked in the hostess barely acknowledged us. Thought it would get better once we were sat at a table but it got worse. It took a while for two simple drinks that were not made correctly, the bartender was upset and overwhelmed. She kept throwing the bottles and glasses around. Just all around bad energy and service.

We have been coming here since they opened and Mike has always been such an amazing and attentive bartender. The food is great too! Over all we have always received such great service here and that it s self is reason to keep coming back. Dietary restrictions: Have gluten free options too!

Decided to eat out tonight and via Rock & Brews. They had several tables reserved as well as the outside area. So, we asked if it was OK to sit at the bar? and if the bar had full menu service? We got the nod of yes to both questions ... so, off to the bar we went. We were greeted by Emily, who took care of us all night along with the other bartender, Mike. We did not order any appetizers, but did order drinks - me a Shiner Bock and my partner, a frozen purple haze - before dinner. I ordered the filet mignon and my partner the short rack of pork ribs. The filet was made to order and came with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The ribs were accompanied by a salad and cold slaw. These arrived in a normal, timely manner, approximately 20 minutes. After we finished, we ordered dessert and decided on the bread pudding. Everything was tasty, the service was great, and we even watched some sports and conversed with a few other patrons around us at the bar. Thank you, Emily, and Mike for making our evening enjoyable. To all, I hope that when you visit, your experience is as good as mine.

The food was incredible! The ultimate burger was the perfect it was exactly what I had in mind when I said I wanted a burger. The shrimp siracha app was also very very good and the heat was tolerable but it wasn t just spicy it was perfectly seasoned. I recommend also trying the birria beef dip it was also very tasty. We had amazing service from Nathan. Love the accent! 10/10 experience.

Everything was great, the food, the atmosphere, and the service. Everyone was very nice and friendly, I highly recommend it for any metal/rock fan who wants a good meal with perfect music and atmosphere. Another thing I loved was the pet friendly menu, since I wanted to go to this place but I was with my dog at the moment, but they told me I could eat with my dog. I will be back for sure!

I m not sure what I was expecting but this place exceeds those expectations! Atmosphere is amazing, high end feel with a touch of comfort. Beer selection is amazing, drinks are very creative sounding. Pretzel was amazing and I recommend getting the beer cheese (but the mustard is insanely tasty (honey mustard like) Calamari: chefs kiss! The basil aioli was a definite surprise! Come to watch your favorite team or wine-down with friends! This is one place you don t want to miss!

I recently visited Rock and Brew and had a disappointing experience. I ordered a meal totaling $56.24, which included a taco dish and a demon chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, the food was bland and poorly prepared. The tacos were missing the toppings, and the chicken sandwich was half-fixed. After discovering these issues, I called the restaurant to inform them about the missing toppings. The night manager assured me that I would receive a refund, but despite their promise, I never received it. This lack of follow-through added to my frustration and disappointment. In conclusion, my experience at Rock and Brew was unsatisfactory due to the bland and incomplete food and the unfulfilled promise of a refund. I hope the management takes steps to improve both their food quality and customer service.

Low key version of HRC. This is a more comfortable and average joe of a rock memorabilia bar. The wait staff and other employees seemed pretty happy working here. Our server was on top of her game. No issues. The food was tasty but there was enough we had leftovers. No one left hungry. There is an indoor area with a bar and an outdoor area which is covered with a similar set up. There is plenty of parking. It is handicapped friendly. This feels appropriate enough for kids at least during normal daytime hours.

First time, I was very disappointed by the food and service. I took some clients there and they were as well. I like to give the Manager feedback for training and corrections. He didnt have to but he offered a GC to come back. My second time, the service was definitely better and the food better than the first experience. Yet something was just missing from the equation and I couldnt name it until today. I think it is the Food was basic = good. Not delish or wow, or fantastic. It was simply basic. For its prime location and venue - it should offer so much more than broccoli as the basic ( and almost only) veggie in the place. Salad is basic. Burgers and Sandwiches are Basic. If you just want Basic - youll be fine here. Dont get me wrong. I really like the Venue, the Ode to Rock, the Brews and Live Music. But why settle for basic? This place could really be a ROCKIN venue if you could just ignite your menu and have some surprise to your dishes. Please - bring in a better Chef and up the cuisine game. I hope youre out there listening.

The bar and waitstaff were sullen and inattentive. When I sat at the bar, the bartender just walked up and put a menu in front of me without saying a word. Another person behind the bar had plastic wrap over an apparently recent tattoo. She removed the wrap to give a coworker a closer look and then replaced the wrap, continuing to work without washing her hands. There was a manager in the area who should have at least noticed the sanitation issues with the tattoo covering. I ordered the bruschetta and was very disappointed. The dish consisted of melted cheese on what appeared to be pieces of leftover hotdog buns cut into bite sized pieces and served with a small bowl of tomato and spices/herbs. I won t be back.

Loved the vibe! Didnt see any Aerosmith on the walls, but I didnt walk around everywhere either. The service was excellent. Loved how they have a table to honor the fallen soliders. If you don t like this place go eat a brick. I love this place! Had dinner for my wife s birthday and it was Great! This is my kinda place for sure. It was my 1st time and it won t be the last. I really wanted to love this place, I really did. The concept sounded cool, and the place is set up pretty cool. We were visiting from Fort Worth, and staying nearby, so it made perfect sense to make it our dinner stop. The plan was to grab some food and then stay and listen to the live music and have beverages. However, the energy there was frankly depressing. We elected to sit at the outside bar in anticipation of the later live music. It was not busy, and there was plenty of staff working. But I felt like we were an imposition. Service was not friendly, and we were pretty much ignored. Hard to get a second beer. Not a good look, guys. We decided to tab out and head to another venue where we had an excellent time, and felt appreciated. Dropped a couple hundred bucks there on drinks, and was happy to leave a big tip for the staff for their excellent energy and work. I was wanting to try the location over on the Dallas side of town when we got home, but nah. I feel done. Do better.

I came here during my trip for #createsatx with K Cross Creative. It was during our second day. We had a couple of appetizers and we each ordered an entree. I ordered the shrimp tacos it came with two the producer ordered a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. I gave her one of my tacos and she split the sandwich with me so we could try both. They were AMAZING!!! The shrimp tacos were the same shrimp from the appetizer that came which was shrimp Sriracha. I am surprised when making this review the shrimp wasnt an option to recommend because I Highly recommend the shrimp!!! So delicious!!! The place is decorated so beautifully they have abstract paintings and amazing art all over the walls. I love music and being in this atmosphere was so fitting!!! I am so glad we got to experience this while at our stay in San Antonio!!! We had a big group and the servers were so accommodating and patient with us!!! Thank you for having us

Both Wednesdays listening to a Latino band playing reggaeton, cumbias, and never heard the rock. Where the heck is the brand identity? This rating is only based off of what I experienced during my first and only visit. The bar service was however, so bad, that I felt I needed to leave this review, so it could be taken very seriously, and addressed. I will go back to Rock & Brew because I liked the atmosphere and have heard good things about the food, but if the bartenders dont lose their monumental ego, and actually learn how to tend bar, I would definitely not order any alcohol except for maybe a Dos XX, so they dont screw it up. There were two bartenders at the time. One at the main, inside bar, and one outside. It was early, around 4:45, so the place was almost empty. We sat at the indoor bar for 10 minutes, listening to the bartender sarcastically remark its my first time bartending to the waitstaff, when he was asked if he knew how to make a specific drink, and then asked if it was ready yet. Never once, did he even make eye contact with us, let alone acknowledge us. It wasnt until that same server, came back to the bar, and asked the bartender, have you even offered these people a drink? that we were finally noticed. The bartender responded, dontworry about me, Ive got it all under control up here. Ummmm, no he didnt. I thanked the server for being good at his job. My husbandand I were there to meet a big birthday party, otherwise we would have left long before. I ordered a dirty Sapphire straight up. 5 min later, the bartender came back to ask me if that was a martini. Clearly, this guy had no idea how to bartend! The martini was off in color. Slightly brown. It tasted horrible, cheap and bitter. I dont think he used Bombay Sapphire, and I know, the olive juice was rancid. Outside, that bartender was much better at greeting us, but I ordered a hoppy beer and he gave me a grapefruit based white ale. It was not hoppy at all. Very delicious but I dont think the staff is educated on any alcohol. We ordered 2 beers and 2 waters. He forgot the waters. It was 101 outside, so the waters were definitely needed. My advice to management...#1-Fire Man-Bun from his job inside the main bar. He doesnt deserve the position. #2-Train your staff on beer, wine and liquor. #3- Train the bartenders to always rotate and keep garnishes and mixers fresh! The restaurant business is highly competitive with a high mortality rate. If you dont care about your customers, they wont care about you.

Went on Mothers Day and waited 10 minutes and was ignored by wait staff until we got up and left. I am so disappointed. We went for happy hour tonight. After looking on line at the offical website we rushed over after work. We waiting for a waitress for about 15 mins. When we go to order we are informed that they dont do happy hour any more. They know that the website gives information about happy hour but they just dont honor that. So frustrating. So after leaving work and rushing to happy hour it was too late to go anywhere else for happy hour. They just said they are sorry.

Great idea for a restaurant....bar ...and entertainment area. We came to see and hear Corey Weaver...a great local country singer. The restaurant has a bar and the big patio area is covered and has a bar also that serves the inside covered patio and an outside patio. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate and had drinks and listened to Corey sing We had great food...see the pictures. The hamburger is called Gastro Pub..has the works with bacon and fried egg and Swiss cheese. The salad is Nashville Hot Chicken Salad...both were delicious. We had several great drinks but this one pictured was our favorite..... Smoke on the Water..and when they took the glass dome off the smoke drifted up and theres the drink!! Great entertainment..great food and wonderful service....very friendly staff. Definitely, we will go again and we recommend this place to everyone. Plus one more thing...you can bring your dog into the covered patio area!!!

This location is spot on.....food is amazing, atmosphere is awesome, they have live music and if you go....ask for Jimmy. He is the BEST, most attentive waiter. You wont be disappointed when he waits on your table. If you go to the bar ask for Kenny the bar manager....super awesome guy and great conversation. 100% recommend and its family friendly.

It s a massive beer-centric bar that added food as an afterthought. Pretty basic food but not done well. Prob the worst burger I ve had in a very long time. The Cobb salad was a train wreck. Fun place. Good vibe. Good music and old school videos. Nice outdoor (covered) patio.

For an awesome spot to chill and savor a delicious burger, Rock & Brews is the place to be. The atmosphere exudes fun, complete with classic Rock & Roll videos setting the mood. I opted for the Alice Cooper burger, and it was absolutely delightful! As a fan of spicy cuisine, it hit all the right notes, and the addition of sweet potato fries was the cherry on top. Dont hesitate head over there and treat yourself to a fantastic time.

First time ever going here and I have to say it was really good. The food and especially the service was 10/10. Ask for Timera she is amazing and recommended some great items. First time here! Good atmosphere. Came for lunch, wasnt very busy, sat inside, but it looks like outside seating would great with friends. Small stage for live music... had the Nashville Chicken salad, it was ok. Good flavor and heat on the chicken but it as a lot of breading... the rest of the salad was just ok. The Asian hot wings though... so good! Id come back just for that!

Came during the Valero Texas open being held in San Antonio not far from here. Had to request it be put on a TV. It took a while but finally got someone to put it on. Service was spotty but i think a shift change was going in. My 4th time here. Fod is average but ok. Nice place to hang out on the Northside of San Antonio.

Well call ahead and ask about happy hour times as their website suggested. We were advised cocktails till 6 food till 7. Well when we asked the bartender she told us no there was not a happy hour she even checked with her manager. OK the drinks were very good even came with bugs in the cocktail. Ok replaced the drink after about 10 minutes as she was busy. Great cocktail, suddenly the reserved table behind us was told to go to the bar for their cocktail as it would easier for their server as a result people are ordering drinks over my shoulder and around me only because it was about the servers convenience. After fifteen minutes or more of waiting for service again and a napkin we had none. I went to the front to get napkin for the bar area as the drinks were spreading water over the counter . I meet the manager , I asked him about happy hour his response was Of course we have happy hour . I shared calling and asking , shared the bartender check with her manager and was told no. HE did not give a shi. T. . Well if your like poor service,being misled and a manager who should be scrubbing toilets not helping people Go here

I took my son to eat here and we really enjoyed it. He had the chicken pasta and I had the Beer Battered Fish Tacos. The tacos were good, but came with lemons instead of limes. I also ordered the Purple Rain Drops (raspberry chocolate beignets). The dessert was also good, but very rich and chocolatey.

The only reason I gave the FOOD a 3 is because I ordered the Strawberry salad...which was great except for the strawberries! They were previously frozen, a bit brown and tasteless! Its a strawberry salad for crying out loud!! You can get fresh strawberries at the grocery store!!! Whats up with the bad strawberries?? Everything else was excellent!! But that salad was my lunch

I went with my best friends from work,We sat outside on the patio at a outdoor sofa lounger,the light colored upholstery was very stained and dirty,I was in a lavender skirt and shirt,my skirt went home very dirty from sitting there,the tables were too low to really eat at,the straws are paper,so after they get wet from you using them the paper falls apart in your mouth or in your drink,the music was very loud,the speaker was at table height,not further up on the wall,so you had to basically yell at your friend to hear you,the music was turned up after a certain time,and bright lights,came on at the lower part of the wall,flashing red and orange lights,it was to say the least,over kill,if I wanted to go to a bar,night club I would,but if you sell food,please put the people who would like to talk and eat in another area of your establishment,so you can still have a nice time,the food was good,inside was nice,clean bathrooms,and the staff was very attentive.

We had a fun night! The host could have been a bit more gracious. But server, Jimmy was great. Food came promptly and fresh. We had filet mignon and it was quite good. Veg was fresh and mashed tasted home made. At the table, drinks were quickly delivered. Bar was a different story. One bartender seemed extremely new. It took about 4 mins for us to get attention. 4 bartenders back there. But overall a really good experience. I will so go back to see THE KLOCKS!! Parking: Parking was tough. The lot was full

Horrible service from the bartender! The girl working got upset because I called her twice ma am since she couldn t hear me because of the loud music they are playing. She came to me and said : don t yell at me again when I m doing something else. Okkkkkk so how am I supposed to get your attention if you obviously don t hear me??? On call Manager was helpless to the situation as he was more concerned on why we were upset because the girl got mad .needless to say bar was empty, we were the only two ppl there at the bar on a Friday night and sad to say it s a beautiful place full of ppl who don t know how to provide customer service. Never going back and apparently we are not the only ones that have been treated bad there. Maybe get some customer service training classes going on.
