Although smaller in size the place packs a big flavor! Parking is adequate for the size of the restaurant . When you enter this location you get a strong sense of the theme they are trying to accomplish with the Asian inspired decor. The restaurant was clean w/ a little bit of organized clutter in some areas. The service was top notch. They have lunch specials that are very affordable. My food was really good. The soup was packed with flavor and just the right temperature. My chicken was crispy and tender. The fried rice was good..no vegetables in it.. two sauces are offered...Ginger and yum yum sauce. the vegetables were perfectly seasoned. I enjoyed that they veggies were all cut to a similar size..that makes it easy to get a variety on the fork. The portion size of the special is appropriate for the price point. The steamed rice was tender and fresh. Overall really good food and service..I recommend you check it out. Parking: It is appropriate for the size of the restaurant.

We ordered pad thai and got spaghetti noodle with bean sprout and crushed peanuts, drunken noodles was fettuccine noodles with 5 pieces of chicken. Couldnt eat the food it was so bad, highly disappointed and do not recommend to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My family and I have been to Chang Thai several times and have always experienced exceptional service and cuisine. The restaurant is family owned and operated and we love that music is always playing in the background. The owners daughter always greets us with a smile and big hello when we enter the restaurant. It makes us feel so welcome. The waiting staff is always so friendly and quick to serve. The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious! On our most recent visit the owner came out to the dining area and gave my son chopsticks at his request. She began speaking to us and shared how impressed she was that my 9 year old uses chopsticks so well. She made a funny joke and we all laughed. She gave compliments to me and my children. The reason for my 5th Star is that the owner asked where my husband was (he did not join us this particular evening). I explained that he had just gotten into town from work and was feeling under the weather with an upper respiratory infection. Without skipping a beat she said, Well wait right there let me go get him some soup! She came back shortly with a large container of clear soup. She had added some fresh ginger as well and she told me she hopes he feels better soon. Their clear soup-my family calls it Liquid Gold . It s the perfect remedy when you re feeling I ll! This kind gesture made my day and meant so much to me. It s the fact that she took the time to make conversation and connect with us on a personal level that made my heart melt. We will definitely be back to support this beautiful family and their restaurant! We love Chang Thai!

The waitress completely ignored all of my requests . I asked for fried tofu when I got the plate it wasnt fried. I asked for no bamboo shoots , the plate had bamboo shoots on it. I asked for specific vegetables as well. If the kitchen couldnt accommodate my requests should should have just came back and told me that and I would have ordered something else. I definitely felt like I wasnt heard and it was very annoying.

Super friendly and great customer service. Average price of each dish on the menu is around 13 to 15 dollars. I had the beef laab with sticky rice. The mint gave the laab an extra refreshing taste. The sticky rice was so good. The chicken green curry was delicious. 10/10 on presentation and the curry had plenty of chicken, mushrooms, and veggies. Cute little restaurant. I think they serve taro and other flavored drinks.

If you are looking for an authentic Thai food that tastes like Thai food in Thai , this is the best place. Their food is amazing! They put their souls in their food. We are vegetarians. We already knew that it was hard to find a food that tastes good for vegetarians, however the cook could make it happen. We ordered different dishes that were not made for vegetarians but they can customize it for vegetarians and made them tasted amazing. We haven t found this taste for a long time till today. % recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves Thai food or want to try something new. Vegetarian options: Many options for vegetarians. Yall have got to give this one a try for yourselves!! We had the amazing crispy pork belly with fried rice, soup, wonderful drinks, and pork filled buns. I cannot tell you how delicious the crispy pork belly was, I keep dreaming about it!! The soup had coconut milk, veggies, meat, and came out with a fire in the middle to keep it hot. You will definitely not want to miss a bowl of this deliciousness!! The drinks had little bits of fruit and bursting bubbles of deliciousness. I cannot tell you it was awesome in so few words, you have just got to try it yourself! Then they brought out the dimsom pork buns, and I was in love again! The food is great. My order of beef pho came in a large portion and included different cuts of beef. They will refill your broth if required as well, something new for me. The broth was savory and flavorful, a must when judging a nice bowl of pho. What sealed the night was the great service and wonderful staff. I would definitely return when Im in the area.

Visited Chang Thai on my lunch break. I ordered the fried catfish it came with stir fry vegetables and fried rice. We also ordered a couple of appetizers. Everything came out in a timely manner and was delicious! My co-workers said their dishes were good as well. Service was friendly and helpful. I will be going back! So yummy.

This is my second time eating here; Im from out of town. Even so, the staff greeted me like an old friend. I ate the Tom Kha Kai, and it was really amazing and authentic! Thai food really takes me back, and this place is so amazing. Dietary restrictions: Im lactose Intolerant, so I asked about the dairy in their food and drinks. The 5 stars I give this place is WELL deserved. The food is more authentic than the usual Thai restaurants you ll experience. I wanted the Pad Ka Prow with ground chicken instead of the sliced and they accommodated my request on the spot! Let me tell you .it was absolutely DELICIOUS. Service is fantastic. Food was delicious. I had the Shrimp Yeppan, my husband had the Steak Drunken Noodles. Appetizers were the Crying Tiger and classic Gyoza. Also had the Mango Sticky Rice. So delicious, spice is fire, and even bought their homemade hot oil for future use. Absolutely worth the money for the food and friendly atmosphere. Feels like youre at a friends house where they are making ya a meal, but you are actually paying for it instead of being a mooch.

If your looking to avoid the tourist traps but rather where the locals go this is the place. The food is fresh and authentic as well reasonably priced with daily specials. The staff is friendly and attentive with excellent servise. The restaurant location itself is a little unconventional but well worth the effort. This is one place you wont go away hungry.

Overall a great place. The chef talked to us a bit and it was very apparent that he is dedicated to his craft. The green curry was some of the best curry Ive had. It was presented very well in a hot pot. The ingredients were fresh. It wasnt the typical high coconut flavor, but it was very good. A must stop.

Me and a buddy went to eat there today and as soon as you walk in you re greeted with a friendly welcome and tended to rather quickly and the waitress was very friendly and made some recommendations but my buddy already had something in mind so I ordered the same and boy . it was damm good eating as we re eating I got to meet the head cook and got to conversating found out we have a mutual friend that we know and after a bit he got to talking about some fried pork and went and bought us some and that was good as well. I will most definitely be patronizing this awesome place to eat Thai and anyone that reads this give this place a try

Very nice place, good is good service is alright. Dropped 2 states because the menu descriptions are insufficient. My food was very sweet although I expected a savory dish. Also, the heat /spice factor was hard to achieve. Thai chili is hot but somehow, eventhough we requested level 3 and 4 out 5 our spice level was maybe a 2. At a thai restaurant I expect thai chili not jalapeno or sriracha. It took three tries to get something close to spicy on my plate at which point I kinda gave up. If youre ok with mild heat, this is a good place to eat.

Great place for legit Thai food of the classics. Great service and fair prices. Big portions and fast service. I want to try the more traditional plates next time also and the sushi menu they have here from time to time also. Tom the owner is a way cool guy also and his staff are super kind. I spoke to Tom a little bit on my visit and he said he has been making traditional Thai food for 20 years now and as a Thailand native, loves to share his home culture and history through food and cooking. It shows big time in their dishes!

It was great! Waiter was really friendly and service was quick. The chicken satay felt like 4 small piddly-winks of meat per skewer with raw spinach scattered on the plate but it was still tasty with the peanut sauce! I ordered the grilled catfish with fried rice and stir-fry vegetables, which was 100% on point. Also they had Mark Wiens playing on the TV so bonus points!
