I have always ordered the Zuni Chicken Salad since they opened. I always loved it. But, they have changed it so much, I don t care for it any longer. It used to be lettuce based , now it all spinach with all these stems that I don t like to eat. They use different nuts. Different cheeses. Disappointed.

Mmmm anything you get here is delicious! Ill sometimes go here with my girlfriends for brunch, or dinner. Its definitely not a kid friendly place. Ive never taken our children here, but its awesome when you want a date night, or brunch/lunch/dinner with friends. The queso, salad, steak, shrimp, drinks, pork chop and burger Ive had here were all perfect.

Food was good, steak was not anything great but it was good. Beer was cold. Place is a little small, but some people like that atmosphere. I had a larger group and we had to sit on patio even with reservations made. Minor inconvenience, but place was nice. I would recommend for a smaller that 8 group, anything bigger they have a hard time with.

A small group of us stopped by on our way to Amarillo, got seated right away and enjoyed a delicious meal. We had a variety of fish, steak, burgers and chicken all very yummy! Immaculate vibes here. I think our server s name was Gary, super chill dude. Probably the most soft spoken server I have ever had. I can honestly say everything I ate here was delicious. If I remember right, we got a quesadilla as an appetizer. I got the patty melt, and while I didn t know it was served open face, it was still a solid 9/10. My girlfriend got the fish tacos, and the fish was amazing. Shoutout to the cooks. Our table was also right next to the grill which felt like a Texas hibachi in a way. I highly recommend this spot if you re in San Angelo.

Came here to eat brunch at the recommendation of a friend. The grill is in a strip mall near Sams club and Kohls. The parking is limited and a small parking lot. We were seated quickly after walking in. They offer inside and patio service. Its a little tight on the seating, you can hear the conversations of the people behind you fairly well. The service is where I felt like this place stood out. Our drink order was taken quickly and brought out in a timely manner. Our drinks were refilled regularly as well which was nice. We placed our order and our appetizer came out and after we finished that our entrees came out. We ordered the queso and guac for the appetizer, which was an interesting take on queso and guac. The guac was ok but the queso was an interesting chesse ball curd, the flavor was good but the texture was off. Our food came out and was fine except I ordered the birria tacos and was expecting grilled tacos, fried in the drippings but it was a build your taco kind of plate. Overall great experience and good food, im sure we will be back.

Holy cow was this one of the best meals my fiancé and I have ever had! Every single dish we ate was amazing. We started with the queso americano w/ guac which was delicious! I had the fish tacos, those were 10/10! Fresh fish with great seasonings and grilled to perfection. My fiancé had the New Mexico patty melt with the creamy coleslaw. He said it was incredible and was the best coleslaw he s ever had. Didn t get pictures of the appetizer and entrees however I manage to get pics of our desserts! I got the key lime pie, it was so refreshing and delicious! Fiancé had the chocolate bread pudding and he said he will be dreaming about it, that s how good it was! Our server was good, not great, but good. We will be back! I highly recommend this place!

Fairly underwhelming experience on a Thursday evening just after 7pm. I was by myself on a business trip, and a San Angelo local told me that I just HAD to try this place, especially given that I was staying at one of the Marriott properties on Southwest Blvd. Sat at the bar (I was alone), and it was pretty busy. It took one of the barkeeps a few minutes to acknowledge me, but she took my drink order immediately (jalapeño martini for $5 on Thursdays). Then I waited another 10 minutes to order another and ask about the menu. On her recommendation, I ordered the meatloaf, and was mildly disappointed when it came out: it was served on a big white platter, and there was so much white space on the platter that it was sad. Two slices of meatloaf over on one side, and a single scoop of mashed potatoes on the other side, no gravy, no attempt at any kind of presentation. The meatloaf was alright, the mashed potatoes were fine, but it just felt like not much food, or anything that would make this memorable for $21. I would ve been much happier with the $15 fish tacos. I paid my bill and left quickly. Given the amount of time I had to wait between getting my first drink order in and my food order taken, I wasn t there more than 30 minutes. I don t think I ll be back, there s too many other good places to eat in San Angelo that actually have a decent atmosphere. This place felt very cramped, very busy, and not much effort made to make it a pleasing experience for a first-time visitor.

I love the grill, and I always enjoy eating there...usually. Recently the times Ive gone Ive had to sit with a server named Jordan. And her order taking is fine as well as her customer service, but when she walks away at a distance she thinks is out of ear shot I can overhear her talking bad about customers, INCLUDING US. I was appalled at the language she was using. When she would check in on us she gave us the facade we usually see which is her being nice and serving us, but again the moment she thinks shes out of earshot I can hear her talking bad about customers as well as the managers on duty (she is extremely loud). It hurt to have to write this bad review. I hope this can be fixed.

This is mine and my families FAVORITE brunch spot on Sunday after church by far. Food is amazing, but our go to server, Jordan, takes this experience well beyond five stars! She is has wonderful people skills, infectious smile, and comes off as the type of person who had talks too much or social butterfly on her report cards in elementary school, which is honestly the best kind of personality to have in this industry. My whole family adores her and she puts forth effort to not only remember our brunch orders before we even tell her, she also remembers details about my personal life which is comforting. I feel all servers can take a note or two from her.

We have eaten here before, but it s been awhile. Everything was scrumptious. The appetizers were good. Skillet cornbread (my boys loved that it had corn in it,) it was sweet and savory. So good! The queso and guac were fine, well the guacamole was delicious, but I don t love cold queso. It was very much a texture similar to pimento cheese. The flavors were great and we ate every bite, I just prefer traditional queso. We had the steak salad, the mesquite grilled salmon, and the fish tacos. All there were EXCELLENT. The steak was cooked to perfection and the combination of ingredients in the salad was divine!! The salmon was spectacular, though none of us cared for whatever vinaigrette sort of sauce on the broccoli. It had a strong taste of either wasabi or horseradish. And the fish tacos were so good that I made everyone try them and they all wished they had ordered it. I would have LOVED to have more of the slaw that was underneath the fish. Gosh it was soooo good!!!! The kitchen was so kind to leave off the blackening seasoning, as I just don t care for it. They seasoned it perfectly!! We had a couple of drinks. The pineapple margarita was good, but the pomegranate mule was the star!! I m going to have to learn how to make those!!!

We have been a customer since The Grill opened and have always had a great experience whether we dine or call in order. We used to live really close there, however we have moved outside of town. The last 2 times we tried to call in an order we get put on hold for 15 minutes and when we try to call back, there is no answer. The only way you can order online you to select a delivery service, my wife was nearby to pick it up. I dont think anyone would deliver where we live now. Unfortunately we had to pick up food somewhere else. I will say this, the bartender used to answer the phone and take our order. I think now the door greeter does. Is that the problem? On a recent business trip I searched for a restaurant for a steak and The Grill did not disappoint! The blackened ribeye was possibly the best I ve had! I ate every bit of it, even the fat was perfectly cooked on a medium rare!

Fantastic place. Came in for dinner with my some coworkers. Great atmosphere with music not too loud. Service was great too; checked on us routinely. The food was awesome as well. I had the mesquite grilled salmon with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The salmon was absolutely delicious and the broccoli was seasoned really well. Will come back again if Im in town.

Surprisingly disappointing. I took my wife here for her birthday brunch. She ordered the brisket tacos and they were very good. I ordered the brisket hash and was unable to get past the smell. The brisket tasted a little rank and had a lot of fat. The manager was gracious and offered to replace it with something else but I had to pass. I did take a small bite of the wife s brisket and it was very food and tender, just the opposite of mine. We have dined here several times in the past few years and it s always been excellent. They were really off their game today. Dietary restrictions: I would like to see more kosher options and maybe a separate grill for grilling pork and seafood? Parking: My wife and I are seniors and had to park in the Sam s Club lot and walk. Area is a little too cramped and so is the dining area.

Wife and I came here for our first wedding anniversary dinner and were very pleased. The atmosphere is upbeat and pleasant. The food and wine is very good. We ordered tres leches for dessert and were also given a piece of key lime pie to go as an anniversary present. Aidan was our server and was very excellent.

Food was great! Classy atmosphere too. Ordered the chicken sandwich and the patty melt. The coleslaw was super fresh and unique, I want the recipe! Only critiques are theres no tap beer, and the patty melt was open-faced, which was a little awkward while eating it. Maybe put on the menu that its served open-face? It was nonetheless delicious. Cool place, impressive food. A little pricey but worth it. Perfect for dates!

Had the surf and turf. Perfection. You must get the spaghetti squash for your veggie. Unique combination but so good. Blackberry lemonades are a little too easy to drink. They do a version of caprese with golf ball size tomatoes, blue cheese, basil and a glaze of some sort (not balsamic). Good but not great like the rest of my meal.

We got the tortilla soup and it was horrible. It was thick and not only looked like enchiladas sauce but tasted like I was eating enchilada sauce. It had way to much chili powder and cumin. It was a very thick rue consistency. There were 4 table occupied but was pretty dead and I still had to flag our waitress down 3 times. I paid almost 4 bucks for soda and I didnt get one refill. Our waiter never asked if we needed more. My son got a chicken sandwich that looked great and he enjoyed it. Would not recommend the tortilla soup and the price was outrageous for what you get. I paid 30 bucks for 2 pieces of corn bread, 2 sodas and the chciken sandwhich.

Went to the grill with some coworkers. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Restaurant was very clean and had a cool vibe. The food was not very good for the price paid. Enchiladas were very bland. Burger was very dry and lacked flavor. The chips and dip were good. Not sure I would return.

Over priced. The staff is so unfriendly and rude. Waited 40 min and they were seating people that just arrived. When we asked about it the staff was so so nasty towards our concerns. Defensively DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! Much better places with friendly staff and food in town since there s quite a few people that are dumb enough to put up with this treatment THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!!!
