Clean establishment. Order at the door. Lots of sandwiches, salads, pizza, and soups. Food came out pretty quickly. Coke products and sweet tea. Food was good. I got pasta salad. It was ok. Had some nice crisp veggies in it. Sandwiches were good. Bread tasted fresh. Mac and cheese was creamy. Restrooms were clean.

Have told employees, manager and corporate office about flies on prepared food items you can clearly see through glass and they clearly dont care.. lots of luck if you dont catch a disease or get sick... they really need to cover up the food..

If youre looking for an upbeat atmosphere and delicious food, come here. I have been here a few times, always received the best customer service; With a smile! My favorite part is the collectable cups, where you can get free refills, anytime! Parking: There are plenty of spots to park, always busy too! Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu with great options. Booths to sit, and decent seating with chairs.

They hired Terresa. The old Gm to Dennys who physically assaulted her staff amongst talking down to them. Known for verbally talking down to customers and blindly being the reason Dennys failed so hard its now needing a corporate rebuild here in town as a manager. Think on this for a hard hard moment.. just because someone physically shows up for the job does it really mean they are qualified for it

Went here recently, my wife genuinely loves their food especially their turkey sandwiches. Serving greens with black, slimy parts is a major cause of food poisoning. If they are willing to serve rotten produce, we have to question their quality control in general. The taste of the other food was so so, definitely not worth risking one s health. Stay safe everyone.

The staff member helping us was wonderful and very helpful. The menu on the other hand is terrible my boyfriend is gluten intolerance and there were nutrition facts anywhere. When we asked for the facts we were informed that they dont have any anywhere in the restaurant. My boyfriend was left to guess what he could and couldnt eat. Dietary restrictions: Dont come here if you have dietary restrictions because they dont have nutrients facts anywhere

Lets start with the strawberry cake. It is the best thing they have on the menu. You can tell that the cake and the frosting might be homemade more so than the brownie that we tried. The buttercream frosting was light and fluffy and there were strawberry seeds all through the cake indicating that its real strawberry in there. For the amount of money that we spent the sandwiches should have been bigger. The meat on both of our sandwiches was rather tough. My husband had the French dip I had the cheese steak sandwich. We pulled several pieces of meat out as we were biting and the meat got caught in our teeth excessively. The potato salad left a lot to be desired. It literally tasted like store-bought mashed potatoes with a sweet relish that was mixed in it. The portion was also quite small. My sandwich was very flavorful but thats about all I can say about it. With the menu also being behind the customer when they step up to the register was a little off-putting. For us this place was a new thing to try so we had no idea what was on the menu and had to keep turning backwards to refer to it. We were not offered a menu to keep in front of us even if there was one available.

Got a meal while charging my car. There was a long line but I was able to grab a number and order from my table which is really nice. Great selection of food. I got a soup and sandwich combo and it was great! Friendly staff got me what I needed. Will definitely eat here again!

The atmosphere was pleasant, it was very clean too. We were greeted by the cashier. She was very patient. I couldnt decide between a sandwich or pizza. Which, I ended up getting both a club sandwich w potato soup and a pepperoni/sausage pizza. Love the food! Top notch. Only thing that kept y all from perfect score was the tables. Every time my wife and I go. We have a hard time figuring out where to sit. Nice place for a quick meal or to pick up a to-go order. Loved the black and bleu salad and the tortilla soup. Their hot honey Italian pizza had waaaay too much chili oil on it but I suspect their other pizzas are pretty good. Just order at the front, get your number, and they deliver your food to your table. Theres a free station with cheese, garlic, etc for you to choose from and the kitchen is an open area you can see into to watch your food being prepared. They have an app you can order from and, of course, a rewards program to earn free food. Vegetarian options: A vegetarian would find options here. Parking: If youre hauling a trailer, you can find plenty of parking in the HEB lot, which isnt too far from Newks.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival and the cashier was friendly, telling us to take our time at the menu board since it was our first visit. The restaurant was immaculately clean as were the bathrooms. Our food took just a short while to arrive at our table and was prepared exactly as ordered. While waiting we noticed the convenient pick up area for orders placed online and saw several customers quickly and effortlessly claim their online order. Portions were generous and we left full and satisfied. Conveniently located near major grocery and retail shopping SW San Angelo. Highly recommend. We will definitely eat here again.

This is the measly portion you get for a $5.90 kids pizza. The toppings and portion size of mine and my wifes pizzas were thankfully very good, because we had to give half of it to our kids who finished their pizzas in 3 bites. I put the dollar bill next to the pizza not only for a size comparison but because thats how much a portion that size should cost. Poor effort Newks, very poor effort.

Came in, ordered food, overly polite cashier with his nails painted takes our order, got 4 meals, 2 adult and 2 kids, asked for a whole sandwich and bowl of soup for my meal, got a choose two (half?) Anyways, it was good but I was still hungry. I asked why they messed up mine and no one offered to fix the order and shrugged me off. It was a nice atmosphere and good food but the tables and seats were nasty. The restrooms needed cleaning too. I saw people standing around laughing and joking but nobody wipes anything down. The windows are grubby too. It s the same old story in San Angelo, people do NOT clean or fix issues, if there s an opportunity to do so. Good help is hard to find or nobody knows how to follow up after training. Bla bla bla.. welcome to this town, go eat out and see for yourself.

Too expensive for a 1.5 sandwiches and a bowl of soup. Left standing for at least five minutes to place our order as the cashier was chatting it up with buddies in dining area. Our simple order took dang near 30 minutes to arrive. Service was rude. All available tables, which were many as we arrived long after the lunch rush were dirty. We had to clean our table. Whole staff chatting it up amongst each other and not working. Wont be back.

I come for the cakes. Pizza is pretty good. But I come for the cakes. Carmel cake is my favorite and I screeched with delight finding a place that makes Carmel cake. My husband loved the red velvet cake and I really enjoyed the strawberry cake as well. I would purchase an entire cake if I wasn t afraid I d eat it all in one sitting. Everyone is so nice too.

I love Newks and looked forward to eating there all week. Today the Greek salad was just not as good as usual not much feta or dressing at all. The Salmon was great. The veggie sandwich was lacking and hardly had any goat cheese. Ill come again but just hope its better than this last time.
