Nice hidden local legend. Food is beyond great! Not overly priced and nice sized portions. Great service from the staff and real friendly like making it comfortable for first-timers. Absolutely great place to eat. Has outdoor covered patio seating as well.

I love sandwiches, good sandwiches are easy to find but great sandwiches are far and few in between. Mr. T s turkey avocado bacon sandwich on Texas toast had me wishing I ordered a second. This place allows the customer to order various great sandwiches on different breads, allowing the customer to try their favorites on multiple choice breads. I enjoyed how light the okra was, not heavy on the grease and yet it was flavorful. I especially liked the fiesta salad. I am not big on cabbage but the light flavoring had me scarf down the entire serving. If you have not tried this place I recommend it. It is in my top three favorite sandwich places in San Angelo.

place was rundown, dirty. I order a turkey bacon and avocado sandwich asked to add cheese, no cheese came on it. bread was way too toasted, borderline burnt, avocado was old and black. My mom order her sandwich cold & they gave it to her toasted. Tempura fries were less than impressive and really greasy.the high chair was filthy. there were no kid options so we ordered my niece a soup and she forgot to put it in and charge us for it, so instead of still bringing it out and comping it because it was her mistake, we had to get back in line and order it so we had to wait an extra 20 minutes for that. typical San Angelo restaurant and customer service..

I arrived at 10:38, wanting the chicken fried steak and was curtly told lunch service didnt start until 18 minutes. The breakfast menu didnt have anything I wanted so I said Id be back. I guess your people didnt think I would hear that Some people cant read remark on my way out. There were zero customers in the dining area. One would think a business with no paying customers would let what was now 15 minutes slide. Im still shocked I was treated like that. They were more willing to let a $15 sale walk out the door than make a lunch item a full *GASP* 15 minutes early. Dont worry, I wont be back to expect you to service a customer. Parking: No handicap parking places. Hmm...Im sure the city would just love to know this.

My husband and I ate lunch at Mr. Ts deli yesterday. I haven t eaten there in years but the food was absolutely fantastic and the service was great. We didn t know it but my husbands wallet fell under our table during lunch. Hours later when we realized (and AFTER Mr Ts was already closed) the owner was so kind to meet my husband there and let him look for his wallet. It was there and we couldn t be more grateful! I will be putting Mr. Ts on our regular lunch rotation, as it should be! Thanks again for a great meal!

One of the best sandwiches Ive had in my life. The turkey bacon avocado. The sourdough was buttered and grilled to picture perfect perfection. Tons of turkey and fresh cooked thick cut bacon. Avocado was plentiful and fresh. Amazing. This will be a regular stop anytime Im in town!

Wow! Just wow! My favorite is breakfast. Eggs benedict is delicious. This restaurant is located in a historic neighborhood and the service is family friendly. Love the artwork on the walls too! Now they serve dinner on select evenings. Its a great place for upscale comfort food.

I finally tried Mr. Ts! It was such a lovely experience. Truly one of the most relaxing and enjoyable meals that Ive had here. The coffee is self serve so I filled up as needed. The staff was beyond friendly but not smothering. The inside is big enough to accommodate several groups but not so big that its overwhelming and noisy. The green chile cheese grits were yummy

This place is incredible. I moved to San Angelo a year ago, and for the first 6months Mr. Ts was closed. Since they opened up in June or July I try to go once a week. Or better yet, I try not to go more than that, for fear Ill burn myself out. I love the food and especially the daily specials, Thursday is by far my favorite, but if word gets out it may be all gone before I get there. And while the food is great its the people that keep me coming back. This place is such a treasure to have in my neighborhood and the genuine friendly atmosphere is why I bring everyone that visits!

Went to meet some friends for lunch, Wednesday, special was meatloaf. I was informed its a new owner. I knew the previous 2 owners and the food was good. But, dang skippy, the new owner Daniel has got it going on. Great lunch special, tender, flavorful, juicy meatloaf, over hand made mashed potatoes, with a bacon infused gravy. But the bomb is that hes curing his own meats in house. Check this place out and look in the cured meat counter, beautiful! Definitely check it out, this place is a gem in the middle of West Texas!!!!

Used to go here all the time years ago for Breakfast burritos. Decided to try it again today and was very disappointed. I ordered a Sausage, egg, cheese as well as 2 Bacon, egg, and cheese and the first burrito had no sausage. It was mediocre at best and horribly overpriced. The total was $25 for 3 burritos because we had to get a side. We could not get just burritos. I havent tried lunch or dinner but after the breakfast I dont think Ill be going back.

We walked in the floors were sticky and the table was filthy. The waitress we had was horrible. She just simply refused to wait on us and when we got up to leave and the other waitress said something to her about it she said oh well. It is truly a shame because all the pictures I have seen of the food really looks good. But we wont go back with service like that. Disappointed with the new owners. They posted on Facebook that they would be open on Sundays so went on Sunday several hours before said closing. The owners were kicking out people eating inside and told us that they are no longer going to be open on Sunday due to being slow. I ve also tried contacting them multiple times about whether or not they offer vegan options since switching owners and they do not reply. Lack of hospitality in my opinion!

They were off the mark today. Ordered 3 cheeseburgers and steak fingers with curly fries. Went to fill drinks, no ice. Manager comes out to tell us their out of curly fries as well (and no tots). Adjust to regular fries, not that big of a deal. We ordered at 12:50, it took till 1:25 to get Luke warm food. To top it off, they were out of hamburger buns too! They decided to sub jalapeño rolls WITHOUT ASKING! we paid $50 to throw 1/2 our meal in the trash.... not sure what happened. This is usually a good place. Everyone has a bad day, hopefully this was Mr. Ts. Id hate to think this is the new normal.
