My kids had so much fun! Cheeky Monkeys is such a fun and cute indoor playground. Perfect for my 6, 4, and 2 year olds. The areas as well kept, bathroom is clean. The cafe has a good menu. The staff is courteous and they make sure no parent enters with shoes to the play areas by enforcing their socks only policy. I also like that we can come in with regular socks and not have to buy their socks. I definitely recommend this indoor playground. Its so worth the time, money, and distance from us in this Texas weather.

I m here at least 1x a week, sometimes more depending on how we feel. This place is always great for my 4 and 2 year old. Kay, the manager, is always friendly and nice and super helpful with any of our needs. My kids love it.

This place is DIRTY. They barely maintain the environment. I saw a cricket in the grocery play area and told the employees. One of them killed it with a kids TOY and they left half of the body scattered around the carpet. Disgusting. The trampoline area had a hazardous exposed plastic stick that can really be life threatening to a child that fell on it the wrong way. Also, instead of paying attention to their phones the kids security door was left open and a child almost escaped the building.

The play area is super cute, but it s absolutely filthy. My daughter is a toddler so I had to go through the playground with her the whole time and it was filthy. We were only able to get through it one time and we did not want to go through it again. Seems like highschoolers aren t really cleaning in the middle of the day. It was pretty empty. It was absolutely disgusting.

This place is filled with filth. Parents who are able to just sit at the tables would not see this. I took my toddler here and have to be with him the entire time. The playground is dirty with balls of hair everywhere. Some of the balls in the ball pit area are all crushed and some even cut open. They should have routine measures in place to check these sort of things. This is a safety hazard. The coloring section is a mess. Broken crayons everywhere and no drawing paper replaced. The place overall is not well kept. There is only one person working the kitchen area. 30 mins for an order of fries is not acceptable. Will not be returning. I hope inspector comes in and fines this owner!

I only come here because my son loves coming here and the days for it to be too hot it s good to get his 2 year old self out but they need more control they say kids have to have socks I saw about 10 kids without socks in the play area and ADULTS with not socks either and it s gross my son plays but it s unsanitary. They need to start checking before people go in the play area also so many older kids being rough in the under 4 year section it s so upsetting I m suppose to be bringing my son to have fun not stress about so much

We love the Cheeky Monkeys franchise but unfortunately will not return to this location. It is disgustingly filthy. We came at 9am when it just opened & it was clear that nothing had been cleaned in a LONG time. One of the staff was cleaning the doors/windows when we arrived which is great but I feel like the actual play area should be the #1 priority. I had to stop my toddler from picking up clumps of hair, random trash & there were even bugs crawling around. Half the balls in the ball pit are smashed. The trampoline area is stained. It s just flat out gross. It was not a pleasant experience. This location needs some serious TLC. I don t even want to imagine how dirty their kitchen must be. The Castle Hills location is nice & clean, I recommend going there instead.

Update: Yesterday was our first day back since the last review two months ago. The cameras were off and the front door was constantly open. I mentioned it to staff after having to close it myself the first four times I honestly lost count of how many times I ended up closing it before taking off well before our hour was up. Safety! Safety was not a regard for staff and I have one and two year old daughters! They also still aren t making sure the older kids aren t trampling the four and younger s in the toddler area as the sign says.. Going downhill. Dirty, ball-pit is nearly empty and has broken balls inside, trampolines are visibly stained, toddler area isn t monitored so older kids tumble over the little ones.

I came here to get my niece and nephew out the house. All I can say is thank you Kaylin, I appreciate good customer service. You defiantly made my job easy babysitting. Being able to interact with them was everything. I admit I turned into a big kid myself. The food within the facility helps for lunch time. I believe I was more excited than the kids. As a 90s baby this is like Chucky cheese exclusive.

I took my daughter this morning for the first time and it was absolutely filthy! The staff was so so sweet, but I just wanted to get into a bath immediately. Dust, hair and dirt everywhere. Trash bags within the play area. Visible dirt and gunk on everything, the tables weren t even being cleaned. They really need a good deep clean asap.

Nice experience at this cheeky monkey location. The staff is awesome and have lots of natural lights inside. There are plenty of things to do for kids and toddlers. Birthday parties can be arranged in good price. 2 hours can be easily spent by kids here. Would love to come to this location again.

This place is absolutely amazing, we had family In town from Australia and took their daughters there 3 times and they had a blast. The younger lady with dark hair who runs the front desk is SO kind and helpful. She made sure to ask if if we needed anything and when we almost had an accident she saved us with providing an extra diaper. We are so thankful!

This is not so much on CM but a warning to parents. My 6yo son was verbally accosted in an aggressive manner by pointing her finger in his face and yelling at him while I was not present in the trampoline area. She had her toddler in there and claimed my son threw balls at the child s head. My friend saw the whole thing and ushered me over. I did see my son crying from the distance coming out of the trampoline area. He said he didn t do it. Everyone was throwing something back there and jumping and having fun. He may have thrown the ball, but her attacking my son while I wasn t present is not ok. As I was talking to my son, she walked by and I addressed the situation to her. She raised her voice and pointed her finger at me, and was verbally attacking me then, in front of my son. This woman was very aggressive, and made me feel unsafe. Any child back there in her presence was not safe. This ended with her walking up to the front desk and complaining, which was my suggestion to do in the first place, instead of attacking innocent children, without other grown-ups surround. Keep your kids safe, especially from aggressive women who pick on children instead of acting like grown ups.

Attended a 6yr old girl birthday party and the kids LOVED IT!. Besides a designated birthday room, the adults hang in the middle of the building where there are tables & chairs to sit while the kids 6 and younger enjoy slides, jump pits, climbing & different activities activities, all in an in door park setting. (Their entrance signs need improvement )

We had a birthday party here and the whole thing seemed disorganized. Upon entry, there was nowhere to set the gifts and belongings. That ended up being fine, we managed. The kids had fun playing the first hour. The second hour was the party room and the 2 activities that were included with the party were very underwhelming. The hostesses didnt gather all the kids before starting the activities which included a freeze dance and baby shark song. Most of the kids were sitting down and had no idea what was going on. It wasnt exciting and didnt add any fun when all the kids didnt even know what to do. The cheese pizza that came with the kids meal was dry and cold. They forgot the extra pizzas we ordered for the adults. They didnt help pass out cupcakes to the guests. No help gathering the presents after the party to bring to our car. After paying $500 I expect to leave a birthday party venue after having a great time and the whole thing was disorganized and very underwhelming. I thought the party hostess would have been more involved. I would NOT recommend this place for a birthday party. The first hour was fine because the kids got to play, the second hour I expected it to be fun too and it was somewhat awkward. I think you roll the dice depending on who you get as the party host because Ive seen parties here before and it seemed like they were having a good time. I am just glad I didnt spend more on any upgrades. I asked the party host if they could add Bluey rings on all the cupcakes. They werent wearing gloves and had super long nails that were digging into the frosting of the cupcakes. They were wearing slippers and just seemed to not really care. Im glad the kids had fun but the adults sure took note on how the party was ran for their kids. I think the adults would all agree that the kids had fun but $500 was way too much for the party room experience. We were thankful for our friends and family who came but I cant get passed what you pay vs what you get. Lesson learned for the future!

This is certainly a great place to take your kids and have them spend about an hour. They have slides, trampoline, paint area, and more play items. I feel, 15 bucks is a little bit too high for an hour though and hence, 1 star minus. Highly recommend to go once a month.

I dont know if its new management or what, but right when I arrived with my sons, my youngest (with special needs) had an accident. Frustrated and a bit embarrassed having misplaced our bag with extra clothes, we had to leave. Let me tell you something. The staff was ON POINT. No complaints. Just hustled to make sure that the equipment was clean without any disruption. And to go above and beyond, the general manager, Kaitlyn (I apologize if I misspelled her name), came out in the rain to hand me 2 free entry and to assure me that everything was good on their end and that we were more than welcome to come back. I dont usually write reviews, but hell. This experience definitely merited it. Yall now have a committed customer. Thank you.

A must visit if you have little ones! The facility is super clean and well maintained. I came here with kids age range 9 months to 6 years and this place didn t disappoint. Weve been here many times since this past few years and always thought that the place is decent. However, today when we went, it looks like no one cleaned the place for a long time... Dust and little trash everywhere! If the floor is dirty, I doubt they clean the actual play area or ball pit. Ive noticed some of the play equipments are in bad condition.

The place is great, but the experience I had hosting my sons birthday wasnt as pleasant, thats why I only give it 3 stars. When we got there, they told me to go to the room we were assigned, and then the people from the previews party were still there, but about to leave. I asked the party host what was happening, and she said they book parties back to back and that they were running behind. My party started about 25 min after. The good thing is that the kids were able to go to the playground. I dont want to make a long post, but the face painting was the last thing they did around 8:30 pm The place was already empty because they closed at 8, but due to the fact that they had started my party late, they had to complete everything I had paid for. I spent over $1,000 dls. For a 2 hrs party, and Im not happy with the way they handle it, I just feel that they werent organized. Lastly, the floor was duty throughout, didnt check the restrooms

We really enjoy this Cheeky Monkey and have been going here for a few years. My kids are 3.5 yo and 7 yo and both loooove coming here, although the 7 yo is beginning to outgrow it and enjoys it best with a friend to play with. The area is clean, bright, and well-maintained. My 3.5 yo is obsessed with the clubhouse/kitchen area and has a great time playing there and in the big structure. My 7 yo disappears into the big structure and doesn t come out until it s time to leave (well, and he comes out for a quick water break before dashing in again). We have no problem spending two hours here. The sitting area is nice for parents - you can easily see the play structure and work/read while the kids play. The area is gated, so your kids can t escape and I feel good that they will be safe playing inside the structure. There is a nice little cafe too, that s a little pricey but decent food for the setting.

We love cheeky monkey. The kids have a blast and it s easy to just let them play. This last time we went in (today) the man up front put our check out time for 13 minutes earlier than the 1 hour. Doesn t seem like a big deal but that s almost a quarter of our play time. I didn t realize right away and when I went up to tell them (and offer to show them the time stamp that my CC was run to verify that I was being honest) the man seem annoyed and was like uh ok I guess you can stay that extra time , when it wasn t really extra but actually our normal allotted time, like he was doing me a favor. Just kinda off putting honestly.. but we love the play place none the less.

We ve been coming here for years. It fun and affordable and clean. But today, I finally had to review. I am teaching my daughter independence and sent her to the snack bar with money to order for herself. The employee behind the counter, Julius, was so patient. So kind. So reassuring. He leaned down to listen to my daughter, got her order and walked her through the payment process. He didn t rush her or get annoyed. People like him make this place WONDERFUL. I know it probably seemed like nothing to him, but we will always remember this as the time she was a grown up girl and did something big by herself!!!

Please tint all your windows to block the heat in there, i know A/C costs can get expensive in the summer and you wont put the A/C any lower so i really recommend tinting your windows. They can block UP TO 75% of heat. Its really hot in there, please tint your windows. I was in the back next to the windows at 2pm and that heat is real bad next to the windows so its clear the heat problem is from there To the owner/Manager: you could save some money from the financial standpoint. This is an edit from my previous review about a year ago in 2022 below: They need to turn on the AC its always hot and humid in here. It can be mid summer and AC will be set maybe to 80. Its hot.

We frequent the North Fort Worth cheeky monkey regularly and love it. We tried this one for variety and I was so disappointed. In comparison it was so filthy and run down. The staff was not happy to be at work either. Overall would not recommend this location and we will not be coming back.

Very poor experience. We celebrated our daughters bday in March at this center. They were not organized at all. They did not provide us the goodies bags even after paying for it. The guest kids were so disappointed due to this. The face painter that we booked was doing service for all kids like it was a free event and no one mentioned it was our service and towards the end of it our party guest kids could not get it done due to their lack of communication. We ordered a lot of food for our party and some of it was burnt. They did not provide cutlery and silverware or plates we had to keep on asking multiple times.

We attended a birthday party at Cheeky Monkeys recently and it was great!! Everything was very clean and there were SO MANY play areas to choose from. The staff leading the party was great and kept the kids engaged during the time in the party room. Well definitely be back!

The place is great if you want to get some energy out for the kids. Fun options: slides, ball pits, play grocery store, etc. Kids had a blast and were TIRED after! However, I recommend eating before coming, we ordered $7 french fries that after 30 minutes hadnt come out yet.. we ended up speaking with the manager who was very kind and understanding. The woman at the front was also awesome but the guys working the food area were not the best at customer service. People make mistakes and thats understandable but admit it, make it right and move on. In the end, they gave us some vouchers to return and we definitely will.

My toddler has loved this place since he could walk. We decided to host his 3rd birthday party here this past weekend. They did an awesome job! We did pay for the highest level premier party package, so they took care of getting and setting up all of the decor. It s not cheap to host a 2 hour kids bday party here with this package - however, like I said, they did a wonderful job with everything and our son had such a great time at his party with all of his friends. We asked for them to do a construction theme and because that wasn t part of their list of themes, we did have to pay extra for it. They made sure all the decor, napkins, plates, bday banner, piñata, table cloth, etc. were in line with the theme. The kids tables were so cute with this decor. The kids play for the first hour and then for the second hour you have full access to the room and the staff does a great job moving everybody along to the next bday event (I.e. play time, lunch, cake, piñata, etc). Would highly recommend this play for regular play or your child s bday party!!! Just be prepared to pay a pretty penny if you want the good stuff. The good news is they will literally take care of everything. All we had to do was bring the cake and goodie bags (they had goodie bags but was just a coloring book with crayons). Great job Cheeky Monkey!!

This place was awesome! My kiddo and I loved it! Shell be 4 in June but is actively exploring her independence. Cheeky Monkeys makes that possible and with the age limits, takes away some of the worries about safety! We highly recommend and will be returning soon!

Came for a childrens party today. In addition to the dirt and grime on the floors, lack of sufficient staff to coordinate things, we also encountered the rudest employee at closing ever. They announced closing but my friend hosting the party understood she still had time as the party set up was late (Their little parade INTO the party room was not until 5:30/ business closes at 6). An employee flashed the lights, Im assuming to signal to folks time to go home. We took our time to cut cake and sing happy birthday. As we were already cleaning up (cake was literally being handed out to go), a lady came and yelled at the entire group still in the room with THE worst attitude. I need everybody out of here in the next 5 minutes. Of course the look on some faces was like ohkkkkayyyy that was not necessary - she could have just let my friend know. Everybody was wrapping up, locating kids shoes, grabbing belongings so I went out of the party room into the main area where I witnessed this same employee screaming at children, including my own, to leave the little simulation market place, Go! And throwing her arm up, pointing out of that area. Which by the way is right next to the exit. She was incredibly unprofessional. Girl, go get another job if you dont like working with people, especially kids. She was wearing long braids and striped pants. I can only review here for myself but I know for sure you lost several customers today thanks to her and the general disorder there. Ugh.

Me and my 2 daughters went to Cheeky Monkeys last Saturday thinking it was going to be super packed like any other weekend days, but today it was calm but busy and not super crazy! Thanks to the wonderful staff who had friendly smiles the whole time. Everywhere inside the store was exceedingly clean it s usually clean every-time we visit so the reviews are definitely misleading but sometimes some peoples standards of clean is beyond attainable. I think it s clean enough and never disgusting when I go into the bathrooms. One stall was out of toilet paper but I let the guy in front know and he was on it in a heartbeat. Other than the missing toilet paper, great place for kids!

Had a great time at the Easter event everything was well organized staff was kind and friendly even passed out extra eggs and put in kids basket that didnt have a lot place was clean til all the kids started to play bathrooms were up kept I noticed the cleaning which was nice to see with so many ppl there it was a nasty smell but the employee said it was from next door something with the sewage system but non the less we had a blast and definitely will be coming back !!

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! My curly-haired daughter and I have been to Cheeky Monkeys twice now. We have been to all the other comparable play places too. Cheeky Monkeys is the best by far! Clean EVERYTHING! Playground is very unique with many themed play areas and features. The staff is responsive and friendly to requests. Fun special events. Sometimes animals, facepainting, arts and crafts, character apperances, absolutely awsome snack bar and more! We will be back over and over. WE LOVE CHEEKY MONKEYS!

Attended my cousins 2nd bday party today, scheduled 2-4p. The hostess was still setting up the party at 2:30p. Then she decided to sing Happy Birthday without the parents and had removed all of the decorations by 3:38. We have the receipt to prove it. 3:45p she was already setting up the next party. The hostess did not communicate well at all. Random employees were walking in/out without so much as a smile. At one point, there was a bigger male employee who physically moved the 2yr old birthday boy out of his way. I felt terrible because I passed along the recommendation for Cheeky Monkey from a friend. If youre going here, dont book a party. Just meet up and pay the small fee per child for an hour of play. Its a small place, the kids will have fun but for a fraction of the cost of $530 with tip for a party room. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and we will not be back. The team did so poor of a job that the bday boys father spoke to the hostess alone and gave her some advice, in hopes of giving the next family a better experience. He was so polite and wished her a blessed day. The other random employees felt it was appropriate to laugh as he walked away. I was baffled. Cant believe our family drove from Anna for this!

This was my least favorite indoor play experience. Very crowded and chaotic, and the staff was pretty consistently rude from checking in to the snack bar and even the face paint lady... Some of the equipment was broken and tied off with small strings, which kids were just pushing aside and using the broken equipment (no one supervising the broken slides).

I can t rate less than 1 so giving this rating..This place we choose to celebrate our daughters birthday but we had very poor experience. Staff is not at all friendly and very rude.. We choose their top package and paid good amount of extra money so that we could bring outside food as we and most of our guest are vegetarian. We brought snacks and main course from outside but here is the worst part, they have 2 hours package and didn t allow us to open food for first hour even though we paid for that food. According to them you should only consume food in second hours both snacks and main course and in that second hour their will be cake cutting and games session as well. So in short you need to involve yourself in activities, cake cutting sessions and need to eat food and also need to pack your stuff. I asked their staff to allow my guest for snacks as it s not possible to have all in 45 mins (considering 15 mins to pack and clean) but they were very very rude and keep nodding their neck for NO. It was complete embarrassment for me in front of my guest. They charge too much for decoration and character but it s not at all up to the mark. They charge good amount for piñata but it was such a disappointment, very small box with stuff quality less than kids they charged. Over all I would suggest not to book this place ever for any party.

Dont buy the highest package. You only get 1 hour for everything they offer. From that hour, they let us in after 10 minutes. I had to go find the host more than twice. The princes had her wig fall every 30 seconds. The people doing the face painting were talking between them inside my room and not focusing on their work. They also forgot to bring part of my food order and had to get them to discount it from my total payment. Im not coming back and dont recommend this place for party events.

This place is great for when u need to get the energy out of your kiddos! Often very busy on the weekend, but folks come and go every hour or so, making it just the right time for your family to play. My 3 year old loves this place! There are so many types of slides and climbing features for any young child. The staff does a great job of keeping the place both clean and tidy, wiping down everything immediately, and most importantly, u can tell they really love kids! If youre someone whos worried about germs, this place is going to be better than most for the size and features. They do have multi-angle cameras, but it would be tough to rely on to keep track of your kid so be sure to accompany them inside the play areas. The price is in line with other similar attractions, though the best deal would not be on a weekend. Convenient location too! Will absolutely return!

On tonight we had our Granddaughter Birthday Party there weren t satisfied with the money we paid them. We were told we had the time slot from 6pm to 8pm that didn t happened the other party was still celebrating after we arrived at the location then we were rushed out of the party room and couldn t open any gifts due to time for the staff to clean up . There was no one working the food station and people are just taking food and drinks bc no one is there to help them. Great space for kids but the staff cos-playing as Bloods gang members is a little weird in this area. They dont really interact with the kids so I guess you get what you get these days. However no one cleaned the tables or the floor in 3 hours ive been here, which is shocking. At least 7 working, 4 standing in kitchen making 1 pizza at a time, and i have not seen a single thing wiped or vacuumed or swept. Covid or not, thats just unacceptable poor hygiene for this type of business. And this is not just today, seen the same on several visits. Weve come a lot of times but it has gone downhill, now its just gross. We will find a new location to go until they buy their employees a few tshirts and a broom. Edit: We came back a year later and it is much better. Out of fairness Im updating my review. It was actively cleaned and enjoyable. No surprise the staff is all new, not one gang member in sight. They still need uniforms and were pretty much wearing old pajamas but whatever they were friendly.

Took themed party with them! Bad experience with management!! They treated guests so bad! They were late in doing all the things on time and they wanted to end everything by time on dot. It felt like they are under staffed, if that is the case you need to give extra time to do all the things they promised to do for a themed party. Pros- Kids had a good time in play area. Decoration was amazing! Lady assisting the kids was really nice and made them dance and play well. Lady who booked the party was very nice! Everything leading up-to the party their response was great. Cons- They did not do anything on time. Party was from 6-8( 6-7 was play time/face painting and 7-8 was pizza time, cake cutting and few games), they started face painting so late and ended on 7 pm dot saying they cannot do for more kids. They did start anything until 7.11 pm where we all are waiting. Once they took kids into the party room they had some fun got food. They missed our order of food to make. Everything was done and pinyata was left for playing and said it 8pm closing time everyone has to exit now, we cannot play pinyata. Manager had a very bad attitude. Treated our guests so bad! We paid ton of money, for everything, if they are so concerned about the time they should start all the things early. We were waiting continuously for them. I will never book a party with them again. Did many parties at many places, everyone was really considerate this place is very very bad and the manager was really rude. Treating people with respect and dignity is really important when they are working with large gatherings and parties.

We had our sons 3rd birthday here and it was such a success. Koya the manager was so fun to work with. She was patient and answered all of our 10000 questions we had prior to the party. The party coordinator/host was so organized and made sure everything ran smoothly. I literally did not have to do any work once I stepped foot in the room because they took care of literally everything (eg, set up/clean up, cake cutting). The children loved the play area and the face painting set up. The play area itself was clean. I liked how the staff were vigilant in making sure everyone wore socks. Would highly recommend this spot for events!

Really disappointed in why cheeky monkey has become. The staff are very inattentive and look at customers as if we re bothering them when asked a simple questions. Many of the front desk stared at their phones and engaged with parents in a very short-annoyed manner. It s being operated by a bunch of young adults with not a care in the world for children. When we inquired about arts/crafts, we were told we can t give you that we proceeded to ask why. Kids on the weekends be drawing on stuff and not the papers My husband and I were so in disbelief. It s actually apart of the entrance fee and have been provided in the past. The place is seriously on a decline. The toys/pretend kitchens were empty and worn. While it is priced reasonably, quality shouldn t suffer.

The idea of the place is awesome I love it. However the Plano location was so so so dirty everything looks super old like they don t replace items. First let me say this place is amazing for toddlers. Most party places have big kids that trample the smaller kids and this place was different. My two year old son had a blast! The price for two hours to me was ridiculous! Over$500 for the very basic party. The cheese pizza was tasteless and there were large gnats flying all over the place. The drinks were room temperature and no ice provided. It felt like a sauna in the whole place then no cold refreshment to cool you down. I would not do another party here but I would take my son to play for a few hours.
