One of my favorite places to eat, has been since I was a kid. With my hectic schedule dining out isnt an available option for me often. When I do takeout its always good.. if you can get them to actually answer the phone. Its a 50/50 on if they do or not. Not to mention their ordering online hasnt worked in ages.

So, ummm, the facilities are needed to be fixed or updated. The mens bathroom...I mean...who latex paints ceramic tile floors? Not sanitary. Fountain soda had no carbonation. If you want less than five star food, go here.

5 years Ive been in the area looking for decent Mexican food: found it...Ive been all over san angelo and pfft..the food at some of those so-called Mexican places...Alejandras , Petes, absolutely horrifying..Gils is hands down the best food weve found..gr8 food, above decent service and nice cool setting...Xcellent...eat there...youll be glad you did.

Food was excellent! Ordered chicken enchiladas and was given choice of sauces and was not disappointed. Great flavors and large servings. Their queso is some of the best Ive tried here in San Angelo so far. The staff was helpful and attentive and was happy they offered Big Red to drink... Pleasant variety

Its one of those places when not expecting anything more than good service. We ended up getting the best service and tasting some great food. We had breakfast that was not only tasty but delivered hot and in a timely manner.

Me, my sister, and three small, hungry and rowdy children went to this amazing restaurant. They were patient with us, kind to us, and the food was fantastic. Neat art on the walls, friendly staff. Price was great for service and food. We were visiting from out of town and wanted something local and delicious. This checked all the boxes. Thanks !

The food has gone downhill. The sweet tea was not fit to serve. When I mentioned it the waitress said they wont throw the tea away because the owners are weird about that. The food was bad. Ive given them more than a fair chance but after a few disappointing visits, its safe to cross them off the list.

When your hanging at the BAR with friends who are all in an upper age group the management starts cutting folks off on beer for having fun .We had everyone of your guest having fun with us ...along with money in your pocket with good tips for your staff .I should have got your name .....by the way we wont be back food was cold as your heart...i do not recommend this place... need to take bar area out as you asked us to get outdoor......totally disrespectful...here we come BUNKERS BAR AND GRILL....

Food and service is pretty good and prices are very reasonable. However, landscaping is over grown, front door has busted glass, walls are full of small holes where stuff has been hung, bathrooms are worn out, cleaning supplies are stored in sight, wiring hanging from inside security cameras. The whole place is badly in need of TLC, updating and general maintenance. However, they score very high on the health dept. reports. You be the judge.
