I will admit it was a little hard to find, but well worth the search. Such creativity and makes an otherwise ugly place beautiful.

It is just what its name implies an alley. Would have enjoyed a coffee house settled in the midst with tables/chairs. Enjoyed the artist work.

San Angelo, Texas. This is a public art installation of murals, images, and words of heart. Colorful and Free! Its a 2 block long Alley not too far from the old downtown. The artists used the rear walls as their canvases for paint, mosaics, murals, and sculpture.

BEAUTIFUL place! It s tucked away in the alleys and side streets of the small town of San Angelo. Work from multiple artists and multiple mediums. Doesn t get old. It s a great place to go and take pictures (professional or just for fun). Quiet, relaxing some what of a secluded area. Sit and talk with friends or even just walk around and look at while eating ice cream. It s a very unique place and highly recommended! My favorite place in San Angelo!

Close to the hotel I was staying at, the newly-renovated Econo Lodge San Angelo at the gateway to downtown, I found this alley along my drive towards the main part of downtown. It was a nice surprise, but could had have more art.

A great place full of amazing artwork from independent artists. It isnt limited to paintings either, there are some 3d masterpieces like a Marilyn Monroe stand-in and a mirror illusion box.
