I went to place a order the lady taking orders thru the drive thru , was purposely acting like she couldn t understand what I was saying I said I want 2 spicy chicken sandwiches and she kept on saying WHAT CAN YOU REPEAT THAT , after I did about twenty times I went inside to place the order and they were very rude , I ve been to Popeyes before and I ve had my orders packaged individually meaning I had my food Gaven to me in a bag , they thru my food in a takeout bag no packaging just because they are lazy and can t package a order ? Worst customer service ever never attempting to go to this Popeyes again , it s like there is a bunch of idiots working in there who can t even understand English no wonder they are working at POPEYES super. I just visited this location, and I went through the drive through to place a simple order. The employee who was working the window was not very kind, but I didn t think too much of it. Once we had already gotten home with our food, mind you, Im a five minute drive from Popeyes, give or take. Every single food item we had got was not just slightly warm, it was genuinely cold. You could tell this food had been sitting in their warmers for way way too long. i cannot make this up. So, we called and asked for our food to be remade, to which they were actually kind about and agreed to. So, we went back, to get our fresh food, even though it shouldn t have never even been not fresh. Once we get there, the employees are being incredibly rude. There was even a lady in front of us who was claiming the same things that my boyfriend and I were. The workers even brought out french fries to my boyfriend that had been sitting in the warmer and said to him so this isn t warm enough for you? this isn t fresh to which my boyfriend felt the obviously old and soggy fry and said no. After that they gave us our food, but overall I would not come back here. The customer service was so awful, and I hope that they can improve in this aspect (also maybe improve the freshness and quality of the food ) I really hate to leave bad reviews, and I can honestly say this is the first time I have ever done so. It really sucks when the faces of the restaurant scare away new customers.

Service is always slow, getting asked to wait on the side for over 30 minutes just for 2/3 chicken sandwiches and a side when ordering through the app or at the drive through. Fastest time to order from the speaker was maybe 2 minutes waiting, slowest time was around 7 minutes. With or without cars in the drive through, service is always lackluster, slow and painful. It would be worse than Whataburger but Whataburger almost always has lines and this popeyes could have no cars in the drive thru or parked for inside and still take 20+ minutes for a small order. Its not like everything is made fresh to order, I dont know why it takes so long. I wish I could say we wont be coming here anymore but sadly this is the only Popeyes around.

My friend and I rode Our motorcycles to San Angelo today we chose Popeyes to eat at It was so cold in there they wouldnt turn down the air they said they did 15-20 minutes later people are still walking in going back out to get their jackets ridiculous my friend is very hot natured and it was cold for him I seen men & women in their cold!Thats ridiculous! Cashier was friendly but inattentive, rather than just listen instead of going through the motions, He asked if I wanted the meal and original or spicy for my chicken sandwich when I had already provided him those details. I also gave him the correct change, and he gave me back 60 cents. lol Seemed to be a little bickering going on in the chicken, but my sandwich still came out fresh and hot, though. A definitely, though, a little longer of a wait time than I would have liked. Overall, not the worst experience.

The food is better but you can take a nice, long nap in their drive-through. The service is so slow, I order ahead on the mobile app and still have to wait between 5-30 minutes with the longest being ONE HOUR... They obviously have a lousy manager, right? Nope, the manager is never there when I ask. Im not even sure they have a manager. Surely the employees arent lying to me? It wouldnt hurt my feelings if they go bankrupt again.

Tonight was a bad experience at this place . We pulled to the drive thru to order which was taken at 9:43 pm I specifically asked the order taker if it was too late for us to place an order. Her response was 0h no order when youre ready we pull up with 2 cars in front of us. We waited in line like our order was being prepared in Popeyes chicken fashion. At 10:12 pm a staff member walks to our vehicle and states we are closed now. So you take my full order just to come back and tell me you are closed now. I asked to speak to a manager on duty the employee walked back to the facility and proceeded to mind her business I greatly appreciate this night .

I ordered a 12 piece all white meat spicy chicken dinner at the drive thru, needless to say, I definitely did not get it my way. When I got to the window I specifically asked, what I found out to be the manager, if she knew I wanted all white meat spicy. After she confirmed I then paid and a little bit later another person gave me my food and I was off. I know your asking why didnt I check the order. When I got home I unpacked the food and found out that it was a mix chicken, and I doubt it was spicy! Anyway, I packed everything up and drove 10 minutes to take it back because no one answered the phone. I told her that not only did they RIP ME OFF for $5.25 but they ruined dinner for my family. The manager apologized and gave me my money back. In short Im so sick and tired of people getting paid for not doing their job then turning around and say they dont get paid enough. I dont RESPECT people like that because respect is earned and they have done nothing to earn it!

The staff are nice and the food is great, but it takes FOREVER to actually get the food. It doesnt matter if I order in the app or at the drive-thru. I often end up waiting 20+ minutes for my meal. The food is hot and fresh, so I know the delay must be primarily cook time, but thats way too long to wait for fast food. I prefer Popeyes to any other fast food chicken place and I would eat here regularly if I knew I could get my food quickly, especially at lunchtime. But right now I cant justify coming regularly since I dont have 20+ minutes available to sit around waiting for my order. I only come by once every few months when I know I dont have anything to do for at least a half hour.

This is my favorite restaurant in San Angelo and it has nothing to do with the food (which is great BTW!!). It has everything to do with the people who work there and theyre amazing service! Today specifically Hannah, Brandee, Patricia, Matt, David and Juana were great! They helped me fix an order I had made online and acted like it was no big deal. They always remember me and by order and everything is always made perfectly! They are always in great moods and make everyone that comes by feel welcome and important! There is no better customer service in town! I also want to give a shout out to Alesia, she and Hannah are why I keep coming back! My order is a little complicated and they get it right everytime! I cannot give ask if the employees at this store enough credit for making me and everyone else in town feel special and appreciated! The store had quite a few people in the kitchen 1 person taking drive-thru orders and one taking counter orders. I arrived around 1130, there were about 8 people in the dining area. It took 10 mins minutes to take my order. The gentleman that took my order apologized for the delay and took my order. I chose a 5 chicken strip box and got my drink. I waited almost 35 minutes for my 5 piece strip meal. The strips were cold as well as the mash potatoes and gravy. They just kept getting further behind. There is always room for improvement but over all 2 stars

How can you get charged for a FAMILY MEAL 10pc tender WHEN THAT IS NOT AN OPTION. It s 8,12 or 16. I order the 16pc and got 10 pieces of tenders .. 3 lg sides. I even repeated myself to make sure she understood me. I swear people are getting dumber and lazier by the day. When I called, the girl didn t care. Sad business for Popeyes.

This was one of the most awkward & unprofessional experience I have ever observed. I m assuming it was the manager, was yelling nonstop & the staff was yelling back. I was pretty sure a brawl was about to break out. On top of all that, after waiting over 10 minutes to get my food, the order was wrong.

Just the worst! I went through the drive thru and I had waited 40-50 minutes!! Its absolutely ridiculous!! I had ordered a small meal and there were 3-4 other cars behind me and they told me to drive up to the door, I did what was told of me. Only to see them serve the cars first even though I ordered a small meal. I went inside and they just had my order sitting there on the counter.
