I was dropping some good friends off there. But, yes, Ive heard a lot of good about Lisas. Friendly atmosphere, good staffing, and a good place to away from the husle and busle of life.

I ve stopped in here maybe half a dozen times in the mid-afternoon and after the first visit I labeled it the best San Antonio bar not in San Antonio. A friendly cadre of locals here that never met a stranger (such as myself).

I cant say enough good things about this neighborhood pub. Lisa, the owner, is the nicest person youll meet in San Angelo. If you play pool, and are looking for a challenge table, this is the spot in San Angelo. If you have a junior pool player in this area then you need to come challenge Christian to a game. They have weekly tournaments full of good players.
