A friend told me about this place and I seen it in passing. When I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and felt welcomed; first by the co-owner Ray and then Sunny was the host. Sunny was such a great person and friendly. She went through the menu with me and gave me her faves to try. Ray was also amicable and down to earth! We tried the Korean fried chicken sliders and lemon pepper tenders. They were so good friend just right and the Korean spicy sauce was a hit! I can t wait to try other items on the menu!

This place is the Chicken Place for Grand Prairie. Theyre across the street from the other Big Chain fried chicken spot thatll serve you with that disrespect from under the heat lamp. At South Carrier and Cornvalley. Next to Dominos. SCRATCH WINGS is made to order. Once the purchase is made. The Chicken hits the fryer. Chicken is definitely best with the sauces. Downside for me. I love my chicken covered and smothered in sauce. WET SPICY AND WET SPICY LEMON PEPPER is a great start. It says wet, but not enough for my taste. Getting it plain, it does lean just a little to the dry side. Wings are freaking delicious. 10 piece combo will definitely be your goto for orders if its an individual purchase. Onion Rings were a big favorite. If you remember the blooming onions from the 90s. Thats a hit. Boneless, think bigger than Chick-fil-A and get the sauces on the side or go with ranch. The fries and kimchi fries werent IT for me. Fries do need to be fried longer to crispy golden taste. Thats the only thing I had to fret about. Locals, ScratchWings deserves to remain a staple in Grand Prairie. Its really difficult to find great fried chicken restaurant and this place is a great place to start. The location is not on a beaten path but is in a lesser known strip. If youre ever browsing online. Go for it and dont hesitate. Cashier is very helpful if you have any questions about the ordering. Would love to see this place expand. Tired of going to Dallas or Fort Worth to get some freaking awesome fried chicken. So far dinner hours only. Pricing is very fair. Chicken is generally going to be very expensive in this current economy. Thats my local rant. Thank you, if you made it this far.

We came from out of town and stayed at Epic Center. Didnt like the options around here so we found Scratch Wings and I am SO GLAD I DID! Delicious flavors!! The wings, kimchi fries, and street corn was in point!! Great local find, you will not be disappointed!

Stop here to check this place out. Food was great! The people were very helpful and explaining the menu to us. The food is made fresh so be sure to understand you will wait about 15mins , but it was well worth it. We got the Half Bird Box combo. There is other items on the menu, that we will have to come back to try. We will definitely stop by again. Thanks!

I came here for the first time for pickup. Honestly Ive had better Korean wings in other places. I ask for all bone in and they gave me boneless for part of the order. I did call and they were willing to fix it but I was already home. To my taste, they were over seasoned and okay flavors, nothing amazing. I would say, the bone in wings were pretty big. Also, the price was high for wings.

Get some while you can before your waiting outside the door. These were the biggest, juiciest, most flavorful wings very good. If you aren t a big trying new thing person just stick to your original I had the wet lemon pepper and they were great but very lemon taste, confused me for a moment but no worries personally the Korean sweat and spicy was the best flavor across the board . Fries were nicely cut but not soft nor crispy? Bang bang sauce is great these people are very courteous and kind and generous with the food, very generous, don t worry about portions because it is alllllll there! Overall they were very good best in Grand Prairie I d say very much will I be back to eat more.

I visited this restaurant on 6/19 / 24. After having it in my list of places to try for a long time I finally made it. First of all, the customer service was impressive . The lady that was there was so nice (I didnt catch her name though). Being able to find people in the food industry that are personable and actually appreciate their customers is harder and harder to find these days. They get a 5 star rating just based on that alone!! Now, on to the food. I ordered the two most popular wing flavors. The lemon pepper and Korean sweet and spicy along with the crisp mashed potato rolls. All the reviews are accurate the flavors of the Wings is great. Especially the lemon pepper. However, I do usually prefer my wings well done which is my fault. I should have requested that. Also the drums og the wings are large and I personally prefer the smaller wing portions. The mashed potato rolls were good too but I dont think my stomach agreed. All in all, would definitely return to this establishment if in the area and give the other flavors a try

All I m saying is I m never going to get wings from anywhere else now. Wingstop who? Pluckers what? These wings are the real deal, the other reviews are not lying that these are probably the best wings I ve ever had. I m typing this with one hand as I eat these WET lemon pepper wings (tears of pure joy), you can t get wet lemon pepper anywhere unless you go to Atlanta . O and and these sweet and spicy Korean wings ma boi? SHEEESSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, On my timbs I forgot to dip my wings in ranch they were so good. And lowkey I only knew about this place cause dominoes crusty pizza is next door. Shout out dominoes for putting me on tho. I would post pictures of what I ate but I don t think yall trying to look at bones and empty baskets ya boi was diving in! All Judges at the dining table scored these wings a 11/10. Amén

This got a two rating from me, is purely based off of the customer service. The night time manager JP is a very nice guy and extremely accommodating. The wings here just aren t my kind of wings. I ordered half garlic parmesan and half maple bourbon. The maple bourbon is expected to be sweet, but it was sweet to the point it could be a dessert. I wasn t down on them at that point, but when I tasted the garlic parmesan it was a no for me. They were sweet as well and not at all what I expect from a garlic parm flavor. My wife had lemon pepper and garlic parm. The lemon pepper was ok, just very tangy. The sweetness in our wings was so strong we actually took it back and they were very eager to please and remade the order, but unfortunately for us, the flavor just wasn t appealing. I highly commend their customer service, but their wing flavors just aren t my thing, especially since they are somewhat pricey in comparison to comparable wing spots. If you like sweet wings, then you ll love them. If not, I personally would not recommend.

Wings are DELICIOUS! 10/10 the wings have a lot of flavor but not overwhelmed by the sauce either. Super tender chicken! I got the medium hot and the lemon pepper and they did not disappoint. Service was GREAT! I was about to get into my car when the young man working chased me down to hand me my ranch and sodas that I almost forgot. Speaking of ranch, I judge a wing place by the ranch taste. Their ranch is definitely up there with wingstops. Fries are good. Wings definitely better than anywhere else s in town that I have had. I will be coming back in the future and I recommended you give them a try!

Been wanting some good wings my husband suggested we try something new and this place did not disappoint, better than wing stop if you ask me. I had the ten piece wing combo, Korean sweet and spicy and the wet lemon pepper and both were very good the Korean sweet and spicy are definitely my favorite a must try and their house made ranch is very good as well, my husband had the sliders and they were good, will definitely be returning.

O.M.F.G!!! So good I have to say it twice, O.M.F.G!! If you want flavorful, savory, crunch to die for, cooked to perfection, REAL WINGS (not those baby bird a** wings everyone else gives you), then Scratch Wings is where you deserve to be. I was pleasantly surprised at just how good their food is. The wings were lightly battered, but the crunch was huge and seasoned just right. Dont get me started on the crispy mashed potato rolls! Wrapped in a large wonton sheet, you have buttery mashed potatoes, lightly fried and topped with bang bang sauce. O.M.F.G!! Dont let the size of the place fool you cause theyre doing big things with chicken over here.

I ve been here twice! And they ve outdone themselves each time!! The first time we were just randomly looking for places to eat and the owner came out while we were still in the car and basically told us to come inside and try them out lol. When I tell you she had the whole family tearing up some chicken wings. Her confidence definitely made sense after just seeing the plate lol. We went back today and got the 30 pcs wings party platter and it was absolutely amazing. I totally recommend checking this place out!

I visited Scratch Wings for dinner. Ive been eyeing this place since it opened and it did not disappoint! Upon ordering I had the pleasure of meeting Mai and she walked me through the menu and helped me decide. Although the menu is straight forward, I had trouble because everything sounded delicious. I ordered a 10 piece bone-in wing combo that came with fries and a drink, and for starters I had the crispy mashed potatoes rolls. The wing flavors I chose were spicy wet lemon pepper, Thai coconut green curry, and garlic parmesan. Mashed potatoe rolls were delicious, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The wing portions are crazy big and the sauces are even bigger in flavor! Garlic parmesan was my personal favorite, spicy wet lemon pepper had the perfect kick, and the Thai coconut green curry was unique and insanely delicious. The fries were everything youd expect crispy, and tasty! The homemade ranch took it to the next level and made my taste buds dance. I will be returning and trying as many things as I can from this place.

OMG! I am not exaggerating when I tell y all these are the absolute BEST wings I ve ever had in my life. I had the Korean sweet & spicy and the wet lemon pepper wings. The crispy mashed potatoes are to die for! Everything is freshly made, the restaurant is very welcoming, and the staff is courteous. I got the wet lemon pepper wings, the maple bourbon butter, and the garlic Parmesan seasonings. The quality of the wings here was really good, the wings were crispy and juicy and well seasoned The lemon pepper wings are tangy and tasty The maple bourbon butter flavor was savory and rich And the garlic Parmesan was flavorful and not too garlicky. They have some pretty big wings, 10 piece here is like a 15 piece at wingstop, A 6 piece would be good for most people. Flavors were pretty good tried the coconut curry and spicy soy, the wings were very flavorful, just wished they had a spicy flavor comparable to atomic. The wings themselves are similar to korean fried chicken. Fries were decent but could use some seasoning.

kind service, amazing flavors, and generous portions. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this Asian-owned local establishment that was only 5 minutes away from my home! I ordered the 3 piece chicken tender combo (1 sauce only). The owners were so kind that they let me choose 3 different sauces since it was my first time! I went with Korean Sweet & Spicy, Thai Coconut Green Curry, and the Wet Garlic Parmesan. Tenders were juicy, fried very well, and the flavor of each sauce was ON POINT. I will definitely be coming back to order the bone-in chicken wings. Excited to have something like this in the Grand Prairie area!

Customer Service... Great! Had a pleasant exchange with one of the owners(well not sure if one of owner. Whoever took my order.) Fries... Nothing special. Every other fry. Now to the reason I even showed up... the wangs!!! Flavor 8.5! Ordered Korean sweet & spicy, green curry, and garlic Parmesan. All three were on point. My favorite at the moment green curry. However Wayyyyy too much breading for me which is reason only given the chicken 3 stars.

Brand new spot in Grand Prairie. I love wings and tired of traditional wings spots. I saw this as I was driving by and decided to get take out. Best decision I made. I got a 20pc with Hot-Medium and wet Lemon pepper. Both flavors were great and the wings are jumbo sized and crispy. They even through in an additional 6 boneless wings with the Korean flavor. Delicious. The packaging is awesome and the food stayed crispy on my drive home. Impressed will definitely go back.
