Hwy 78 location under remodeling. But serve on Thur - Sunday. Wylie location picks up overflow. Food is very good. Inflation has hit them too. Seen prices increase some. I love the 3 Tostadas combo. Well worth the money.

We have been a part of the Frankies family since they opened. I thought they were awesome day one, but they keep getting better. The owner, the staff, the kitchen, everyone is committed to raising the bar on quality and atmosphere - while staying true on price. If you havent tried Frankies you should. It is the best Mexican food in the area. Lastly, best brunch in the area!

We had a wonderful dinner at Frankie s tonight! The food and service was exceptional, as usual, unfortunately, they re undergoing renovations right now. They re closed the beginning of the week for the time being, but open Thursday-Sunday. Not a big deal in terms of food and service, but the wait outside is just a killer. Even inside in the entryway, just brutally hot. They re popular, with good reason, just a hot wait if you re there at a busy time. My husband ordered the numero university and enjoyed it. I LOVE their white queso, and ordered the carne asada with streetcorn instead of beans. Everything was delicious, the iced tea was fresh and kept refilled, and our chips and salsa also were repeatedly filled. We look forward to seeing the renovations when they re finished! Parking: They have their own lot, normally plenty of room, but can be harder to find a spot during rush hours.

Id driven by Frankies dozens of times and finally came in last week. I was pleasantly surprised. Its food was about what you would find at a small Tex Mex joint, which is to say: not life changing but still felt home cooked and relieving after a week of being on the grind. Small homely place perfect for my family of four. We were seated right away on a Saturday night. The people were super friendly and my waiter Daniel was top notch. We had refills without asking and I didn t even have to ask him for a sweet tea to go (I was going to ask). We had chicken fajitas for two and we share with our kids. We had plenty to go. The chicken was super tender and had a wonderful flavor. I always drove by this place and tonight we decided to give it a try. This will be a new regular place for me and my family. Total for all four of us was sixty bucks. Parking: Plenty of room to park!! Kid-friendliness: My kids were more than happy so I say that s pretty kid friendly for us.

Frankies met all of the expectations we had going in. The food was just fine, but there was nothing in particular that blew us away, it was just your average Tex-Mex in a small town. The borracho beans were enjoyable, and were the most flavorful thing we had on the table. Unfortunately the queso left a lot to be desired, and was reminiscent of microwave white cheddar velveeta. The verde sauce on the enchiladas was strangely very sweet - too sweet. It felt like an attempt to make the verde sauce into a jam, a culinary experiment gone awry. The rice was rather bland, and the flour tortillas were far from homemade - just your basic store-bought tortillas packed with preservatives. The margarita wasnt anything special either, and would be what youd expect if you were to dump some margarita mix into a slushie machine. All of this said, we did feel that the value for what you pay is fair. It isnt overly expensive and its definitely higher quality than fast food. The food came out quickly - we were in and out in less than an hour, and the service is excellent. All of the servers seemed lovely and we observed many of them laughing and chatting with guests - this was really nice to see. This spot is popular, and it seems frequently busy - so clearly many enjoy it. It just wasnt a spot for us.

I had the chicken enchiladas with beans and rice. The salsa is great, but it needs to be served in a bowl, not a 2 oz. to go container, hard to get salsa on a chip. The servers were all nice and gave great suggestions for our first time here. Pricing was a $1-2 more than I would expect but the food was good so I didn t mind it too much. The mango margarita is probably the best one I ve had in a long time but was $14 not too bad since it was worth the price but still $14 for a drink was more than I expected. I might come back but it would be another month or so before I do. The chips, queso, and brisket were the best. If you want to make sure you have parking, get here before 7 pm. It s a favorite in sachse for a reason.

Went here for Mother s Day with some family friends. We are from out of town. Their food was very good! Loved their rice and queso! The salsa was SPICY. A lot of places I go to the salsa tends to be really mild but I was surprised it was so spicy like the salsas my mom makes. The food was really good and the menu had a good variety. They also have charro beans, refried and black beans so that was good. The tables can be made to sit 4 people or it opens up to sit more. Overall pretty nice place and good food!

Im not a big fan of TexMex food but this place really hit the spot. Ive tried several items on the menu and by far the best thing is the Brisket Enchiladas. The green sauce the enchiladas sit on is awesome! Our server (with the twirled mustache) was attentive and didnt need to be reminded to refill our drinks. I would definitely keep going back. The only bad thing about this place is the parking but the food and service makes up for it.
