My daughter and I went for breakfast before the church crowd came in. It was our first time trying the place. It seemed like there were too many tables for the servers at a time. Our waitress got our food wrong a couple of times, but made it right. We had to wait quite a while to communicate with her in between ordering and paying other than that the food was really good.

The owner Byron definitely has the restaurant business down to an art. The staff is awesome The food and price cant be beat, i love Woodbridge Cafe for breakfast and lunch a you must try the Stromboli at brothers pizza it is the best around Byron ownes it as well so you know its going to be great food.

Not a fancy place, but the food is really good and plentiful for a decent price at a sit-down restaurant. I recommend the gyro omelette with hash browns. Be warned, though: the stuffed French toast should be on the dessert menu; tasty, but I could feel my blood sugar spiking and I am not even diabetic. I recommend getting it as a dessert and splitting it among four people.

Great place to have a conversation. Food was good as basic Americana. Waitress was excellent, getting and sharing details on a dish that she didnt know and taking care of the two of us who ate together throughout our stay. Would have liked nutritional information on dishes, but its uncommon to find them in local eateries.

We got the Chicken Fried Chicken and Eggs and the Hobo Skillet. Both came with the option of pancakes on the side. There were a good amount of pancakes for the side and a good amount of food overall for the price. The Chicken Fried Chicken had good flavor and texture. We both got our eggs over-medium and they came out perfect. We will definitely be coming back.

We truly wanted to love this place especially based on the reviews but our service was AWFUL. Our server seemed super overwhelmed by her large party she got after us that we were left to the dust. If you want a refill you ll have to wait til after your food arrives for your server to notice. It took 15, yes, we counted 15 minutes for my iced coffee to get refilled. My husband even recommended I set it to the end of the table that maybe she couldn t see. She walked by. We re an easy party of 3. I get food takes time but drinks when walking around should be seen. I tried SEVERAL times to flag her down by politely waving or making eye contact. The saving grace for this place was definitely the friendly host gentleman who sat us promptly. The food is decent breakfast food but don t run out of your drink or you ll be waiting for a refill and get it as you finish your meal. The food could ve have been mid and the service great and they get a 5 star review but unfortunately this wasn t our case.

Definitely better than chain breakfast restaurants like iHop or Denny s. Recommend their buttery and perfectly cooked eggs and sausage as those were the best by far. Presentation and cleanliness is good. Only reason not 5 stars is because their steak had the texture and fat content of Sirloin. It did not feel like it ribeye (I could be wrong). Not upset because it was clean and acceptable steak however ribeye tends to be much fattier and buttery so I had something different in my mind. The steak they gave me was lean and had a sirloin feel instead. They specialize more with breakfast food and that is what I would recommend. Try out the fried okra!!

Great place for a quick meal. The server was pretty good, though overwhelmed with 4 tables it seemed. The bacon was crispy as ordered but tasted like oil and not much like bacon. The pancakes were fluffy. I had Chciken fried steak and it was bland. No flavor to the crust at all. It tasted like deep fried flour. The gravy was bland also. There was lots of lacking flavor, but nothing tasted bad. It was good, but not great. Id recommend a bit of salt, paper, onion and garlic powder in the gravy and breading.

This place is hit or miss on the service. They hired a new girl recently, and we watched her stand up there and drink coffee for a long period of time. So long that her customers had to go ask her for help. We watched her spit in the sink that is in full view of the restaurant. Someone should pull her aside and set some ground rules for her. There are times when you get there, it may take 15 minutes before anyone comes and takes your drink order. This past weekend was one of those weekends. Sad cause they have good food just very lacking on customer service.

Delicious!! I ordered the Western Skillet thru Uber Eats and it was SO fulfilling and tasty. My over medium eggs were perfect. The skillet was full of hash browns, ham, onions and green bell pepper. First of all, the food is ALWAYS incredible. Best breakfast in my opinion. The staff is always kind and hard working, it feels like a family environment. Ordered via DoorDash and called because I forgot to include the hotel room number. Upon calling I spoke with manager Ally and I provided the room number, I also requested salt, pepper, and jelly. Once the food arrived, no cutlery, salt or pepper and no butter. How can you eat an omelette and grits with no utensils? When I called again, per Ally, they stopped giving plastic utensils due to Covid. Not impressed, didn t eat food. What a waste.

The experience was a significant disappointment. From the moment we entered the establishment, the waitstaff failed to provide any assistance. Despite being a family of five, they seemed clueless about seating arrangements. Along our journey to find a table, we encountered multiple empty ones before eventually being seated. To our dismay, the food we ordered lacked flavor and the fruits appeared as though they had been cut and refrigerated for an extensive period. Probably should update your uber menu as prices are different than your menu on Google and little things like your papa special says it comes with bacon and sausage, also biscuits and gravy is better with sausage cooked in the gravy not added afterwards. I would change the way you do that but thats me. I instance not wanting to make regular white gravy and sausage gravy separate but thats in my opinion lazy, and why even own a restaurant if your going to be lazy.

Breakfast in Sachse Tx, besides the inability of the hostess/waitress the overall experience was good. The food is reasonably priced and has good flavor. I ordered the Papa Special which includes Pancakes, two eggs, and Choice of Bacon or sausage. The portion sizes are big, so bring your appetite. The restaurant dining area seems to be shared with the neighboring Primo Brothers Pizza which I may try in the future. The atmosphere is friendly and clean. The bathrooms are handicap accessible and clean. I will be back next Sunday and hopefully Allie the waitress provides better service, since that was the only fault I have to mention. It just may be the fact that all Family owned businesses are struggling to find good help after the pandemic. I won t let one bad server ruin what seems to be a neighborhood cafe and plan to return next Sunday before church.

After an Uber driver botched my order AGAIN and after Not receiving a credit or refund from Uber, we went to the restaurant where the owner went above and beyond to turn a horrible experience around. This was the first time ordering from this restaurant and it was an all around exceptional in-person experience. We ordered vegetarian omelettes which were real eggs and tasty without the salt and hash browns with banana, strawberry and pecan pancakes. Larger portions than most restaurants with great prices. Great place to sit & have breakfast..Our server Aaron was so friendly and never let my coffee cup go empty. Food & atmosphere was great and the wait was not long. The only thing that needs to be changed is to replace the unfriendly hostess.

Had breakfast this morning with my husband. He ordered the western skillet and I had the Ironman omelette. Everything tasted delicious. We subbed for pancakes and crepes which were perfect, not too sweet and paired great with the coffee. Staff was friendly and server was attentive. Will definitely come back with family!

I ve had the best experience at this cafe because of the people! Sophie- the kindest lady who picked up my 18 month old son and just held him. To me, shows a lot of character. Moe- he has been playing around with my son the entire time we ve been here and that is greatly appreciated. Aaron- he is our waiter and has been patient with us and very kind to us, making this experience so warm. To the owners, thank you for having such an awesome crew and lovely food. I can t wait to bring my kids back here for more kind encounters. I love this place, and you will too.

My wife and I visit about once a week, Allie is usually our server. She s very attentive and kind. She always makes sure all our little details and needs are met with a smile making our experience more then enjoyable! We highly recommend you stopping by and finding out for yourself! Rude. Unprofessional. Stuck up servers. I came with my children and mother to coke eat here and the waitress was beyond rude. Acted as if she didn t want to take our order or table. I would NEVER EVER EAT HERE AGAIN AT LEAST NOT PHYSICALLY. The food is very good but the service is TERRIBLE. I couldn t believe that this is how someone who serves really acts like paying customers are an annoyance to her. Kid-friendliness: Good variety for a kids menus seating isn t quite friendly for family s that have more than two kids.

I m an African American male, and I brought my family to this restaurant for my daughter s birthday lunch. We were greeted by a lady at the door and she said we could sit anywhere. However, once we set down things changed. I received stern glances from a male who worked there and the female waitress refused to come over and help us with menus or anything. I looked at the woman greeting at the door and told her we were ready. She had to ask the African American female server that was working the other side of the cafe to help us. Our waitress who should have helped us helped all the Caucasian people around us but she ignored us. We perceived this as hateful and racist. As an interracial couple with biracial children having to explain such experiences is sad. I wish we would have just left and not supported this racist behavior in this cafe. The response by the owner is sad but typical and defending racist behavior by your Caucasian female server just perpetuates this disgusting behavior. The camera footage (you mentioned) will show this server ignoring, not speaking to us but helping the Caucasian customers around us and avoiding any contact she could with me. The owner need not respond just lying and covering up disgusting and unacceptable behavior with defensive rhetoric about we have this nationality and that nationality, however; this doesn t explain that one Caucasian female server racist behavior. Not Acceptable

It was disappointing to enter this cafe to celebrate our daughter s birthday and be treated so differently than other patrons who happened to not be a biracial family. We were not greeted as others were, there was an extreme delay before our order was taken (and it appeared to be taken by a waitress serving the other side) and we were stared at by this white male who was preparing silverware. This is not our family being sensitive but blatant prejudice. In hindsight we should have left when it took so long for our order to be taken (seeing how everyone else was being served and chatted with), but we didn t. In order to promote change in systemic issues such as racism, people should be aware of what occurs around us. For this reason I make this post. EVERYBODY should feel comfortable and welcome when eating out. This restaurant did not provide that experience.

I was looking up breakfast spots in the area, and it did not disappoint. I got the Mexican omelette which provided its own sauce. It was not spicy and added flavor to it. I also got a side of pancakes and they were delightfully fluffy. On top of that, the attention by our waiter was superb. I wish I had gotten his name, but he had short curly hair and wore glasses. He made sure our coffee cups were full and checked on us occasionally.

My cousin got the very berry crepes she said the crepes were pretty thick, usually they are thin. They needed condensed milk instead of syrup. I got the banana Nutella crepes, and I agree that they were thick (sorry for no picture to reference), I felt like I was eating folded pancakes, the Nutella was okay on top of my crepes but for some reason I felt like they could have been better. It had a decent amount of bananas but still was missing something.

Dined here two days in a row for breakfast. My cup was never empty and we didn t have to wait long for our meals. They stayed steady as far as tables full. You won t go home hungry. Our meals were enough for two and I can put some food down lol. They definitely earned my business if I m back in the area. You should definitely give it a try. Simple and savory.

Worst experience ever as Uber eats driver. This morning I was treated in the most humiliating way by a white waiter with long hair. I asked to pick up a customer s order. I could see it at the counter next to the kitchen. This lady ignored me despite my asking if the the one the counter was my pickup. She was very rude and said to Me when am ready I will get to you. She went about getting orders and welcoming customers passing me at the reception. Eventually she went and picked the food from the counter and placed it on a table away me from and said I can pick it from there. She did not want to handle it over to me. People of color be aware this day and age hate is real cos of the color of your skin.

First time here and on a busy Saturday morning. Quoted a 15 min wait and got in within 5 mins. Was very happy with that wait time. Food was good and would have rated this review with 5 stars.
