If youre looking for a hidden gem of a restaurant, look no further. This place had the most savory Angus Beef Birria tacos that with the garnishes just is on a level of its own. I had thought the meal couldnt get better until the Tres Leches cake came out which solidified this place as the best dine out experience in Rowlett!

Ordered the chili relleno! Its so delish! Almonds, raisins, walnuts, ground beef/pork mix. Cant wait to try other cool dishes! They also have birria! I was born and raised in DFW, Ive lived in El Paso, Maryland and Ohio. I thought Id tasted the worst Mexican food in existence being out of Texas....... I was wrong........ I genuinely left 75% of my meal, cause Id rather go hungry then eat whatever that was, it was not Mexican food.

Ordered enchiladas and we got 2 tacos and sauce poured on top half way. The serving was too small for the price. For fajitas (beef) you get 2 stripes, rice was the one that sticks on the bottom and burnt. The guy who was serving us never came back to check on us even once. Food has no taste. Regretted going there.

Nice neighborhood restaurant located at the entrance of Waterview community in Rowlett. Nice Mexican recipes especially the enchiladas and tacos. Nachos as appetizers worked well. The salsa came in two styles. The one served warm was the best. One of 3 locations. Wednesday is enchilada day $7.99 Don t forget the dessert. Nice bar and happy hour offerings.

The restaurant is ok. The drinks are the best, except the water please check it. I had a large piece of greens floating in it ( not sanitary) that lets me know things are not being washed well. This was on my second visit and Mothers Day weekend at that. So I decided to give them another chance. Being a small neighborhood establishment I wanted to support. The food is really not that bad for the price. So my husband and I went over the weekend. I didnt tell him my findings until further trial and error. Low and behold ordered my dish which was chicken de cilantro. I found hair in my rice. I just cant eat here anymore saddened. Good luck to them but my pallet has to go elsewhere.

We have visited all of their locations at various times of day & days of the week, we are never disappointed. This is one of our staple picks & dont see that changing. We are always seated quickly, food comes out fast and hot and we are never left without refills of drink, chips, or salsa. The food and service is consistently good and reasonably priced. First time coming here. This place is fantastic. (Come hungry.) The salsa and picante sauce are served with warm chips. (Didnt totally reach the bottom before everything was refilled.) My husband had the regular nachos and I had the shrimp enchiladas, with refried beans and rice. (Plenty of food.) Huge drink cups. Great service, with plenty of servers. Next time, I will get dessert first. (Reasonable prices for the amount of food you get.) We will be back.

Ive never been here before. So GLAD that I stopped. We waited about 5 minutes for a table. Small dining area. The food was so delicious. I ordered the Quesabrilla tacos. The consome was rich and flavorful. The beans are a delight. I wish I would have took a picture. Ordered a few plates to go for my husband. I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. Dont walk... run and try this hole in the wall Mexican Restaurant that will take you back to the flavors of Mexico. Not Tex Mex if that is what you are looking for. Stopped by before noon crowd and it was empty. The staffed jumped when I walked in and were attentive. The Tex Mex food is better than average for the area. I ordered flautas desabridas and was brought what looked more like red chile meat enchiladas. Not what I was expecting but tasty nonetheless. I later discovered that the crispy chicken flautas is what I should have specified. I would not bring my partner here for a romantic dining experience. I ve been going here for about a year now. I almost always call my order in and a lot of the time when I do they tell me what I m ordering and I love that! To me That means they re very interactive with their customers! If you haven t tried this place yet you re missing out, they literally have the best food I really go for the queso lol but the few things that I ve had on the menu were excellent but most of all I like the service provided, the wait staff are amazing,always a nice greeting when you go in. I ve had the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, the Botanas platter, and the chicken fajita quesadillas. My honest and most truthful opinion of those items that I ve had are better than I ve tried anywhere else. The only location I ve ever eaten at is the Rowlett location off of Liberty Grove. They re my fave go give them a try and give them a good review. they totally deserve it Kid-friendliness: Took my five-year-old grandson there once he loved it by the way, the staff were really great with him very mindful of not putting hot platedin front of him.

Have eaten here twice. Tonight was about an hour before closing but it s still open. Daughter ordered two chicken fajita tacos. She didn t eat but two bites. Asked her about it after we left , she said the chicken tasted funny. She thought it was not all the way cooked: didn t like it at all. My plate was ok. Hard to mess up chalupas. I did think the beef was better than the chicken where I m normally a chicken guy. Wife thought her combo 1 plate was a three: the service and atmosphere is good. I have been coming here for a few months now. Typically during lunch in the work week. I just want to say how fantastic the food and service is. Consistently we have had an amazing server named Diana. Diana has always been on point and attentive with service. The food is delicious. The Fajitas are fall apart tender. I highly recommend our community support this local business. Quite often I see the owner in the business supporting his staff. Carrying items to the kitchen and contributing without taking over. The staff seems happy!

I live down the street from here and decided try it out . I had no clue what I wanted and the waitstaff recommended enchiladas de cilantro , it was so good ! The brownie ( not pictured ) I wasn t a big fan of but I will be back for sure . One more thing I would like to mention there is a young gentleman name Seth I think, I m not sure he was cleaning tables as quickly as possible making sure the customers had a place sit ( it was busy people were waiting for tables ) he is amazing , polite, and has great work ethic , such a hard working young man . I use to work at a family own restaurant for 10 years and I did all the duties so I can see it in him he works really hard and deserves be treated with the utmost respect and more if anything wishing him the best with luck and success in life .

I found this little restaurant just by hovering around Google maps, and any place with a score over 4.5, I go for it! While it may not be a big restaurant with not much decor, the important thing is the food they serve - and it is fantastic!!! It was my first visit, I believe it was the manager working the bar, (where I sat) as he was well on top of both the staff and customer needs. I know how stressful it can be running a restaurant, but he seems to have a system that is foolproof and sets a great example! He and the wait staff were very polite and provided excellent service! Excellent warm chips and two different kinds of salsa served, and I had the chicken cascabel taco plate. It was probably the best marinated chicken Ive had! Great rice and excellent beans on the side! Still there is more to try!!!

I don t know why they have such a high rating. The food was so bad but the worst part was what was going on in the kitchen. I unfortunately sat right in front of the kitchen and got to see as the waiters stuck their fingers in peoples food then lick their fingers. And how they had their hands inside the bowls and plates before putting food in them. I literally watched a waiter have his hand on a taco as he walked it to the customers table. So disgusting. Great little restaurant. They have two salsas. One is warm and one is cold but both are great. The fajitas and cilantro enchiladas are delicious. Off menu item; whole avocado stuffed with chicken fajitas and topped with Queso.

Service was stellar!!! Food was not my style, but good. The chile rellanno was battered in cornmeal. And it had raisins and nuts stuffed inside. Probably more Brazilian cuisine. Just not to my liking. Place was very clean and prices were good. Again staff was awesome.

This location has the best staff. We are always so impressed with the employees. The quality and appearance of the food is consistently on point which is rare these days. They have other locations but this one is by far the best. We are lucky to have them in Rowlett. Get the Combo Grill and Jalapeno Margarita when you go!!!

Always Great food! Live close by and always call and pick up. Never had a issue with that until tonight. Went to the bar and the female bartender was talking (flirting) to a guy at the bar. She looked at me after a minute and said I will be with you in a minute. Ok. Then continued to flirt and talk to the guy for maybe 3-4 minutes. I SAW my order. When the owner/manager came out I went to him with cash and left. Lesson to learn here is: some people have a lot of time and some people dont. Flirt/talk AFTER taking care of the people just there to pick up.OK?
