From what I understand the ramblin Rose has been there for many many years its a small little locals bar with pool tables darts and live music on the weekends I believe. Ive never hung out there during the weekend hours I usually drop in for lunch they have lunch specials daily and cold drinks. Everybody has their preferences in life Im not a cigarette smoker by choice and they allow cigarette smoking in there they do a pretty good job of filtering the air but just a heads up.

My favorite bar. Cheap cold beer. Great burgers. Great daily specials. Smoking is allowed, so be aware. The smoke eaters do help $5 1/2 pound burger and $5 pitchers every Monday. Life is good. They have upgraded the rose garden with new tables and new grape arbor. New roses and grapes. Still the Best Bar in the area.

I enjoy going to all different types of bars that offer all sorts of atmospheres, from uptown to downtown, but Ramblin Rose offers a unique feel as one that I would classify as traditional or dive. It s dark and smokey, so in this day and age it may not be for everyone, but with a jukebox, shuffle board, pool tables, great service from good people, it all comes together and sort of brightens up the place.

I love this bar! Great atmosphere, very laid back and welcoming. All types frequent the Ramblin Rose. Amazing food served fresh and delicious. My favorite is the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast burrito. Exceptionally high quality staff each having their own fun, likable, unique and outgoing personality. Whether visiting during the day or late at night, this is a welcome place for everyone. Fun events and parties, karaoke nights, pool, corn hole and shuffleboard tournaments and cook-offs are a regular occurrence. Hidden off of Elm Grove Road in Rowlett, it is likely closer to you than you think if you re a local. Would highly recommend this establishment to any of my friends or family.

The atmosphere is what you would expect from a small biker bar. There is very little room to move around due to seating. Smoking is permitted in the bar so when you leave you will smell like an ashtray. The food is terrible and way overpriced. To give you an idea they use the $2.50 Jacks frozen pizzas and sell them for $15.00! The service is prompt and friendly however.

Love the Rose! The people are great, the bartenders are the best, and they have some really good food! Smoking is allowed indoors, which can be offputting to some but is a welcoming sight among other bars when its extremely hot or cold outside. I highly recommend visiting this place. Kevin is the best bartender! Parking: Parking is allowed in the gravel parking lot or along Yeager street. Kid-friendliness: Kids are not welcome at this location in the rose garden or inside. This is a bar, patrons must be 21 or older.

Lack of parking. My large truck inside their parking lot only to find out oh you cant park there and then had to park literally on the street almost 500 yd away basically in the ditch. Lot of construction equipment in my truck knowing that it might be stolen it anytime How can you enjoy anything in that situation.couples fighting ,arguing,over served..nothing there I would date. Older crowd..hard drinkers..

Love this bar! Big space, well kept, good food, and even better prices. Cant speak to the night crowd (yet) but on a random weekday afternoon, it was great with the bar seating full of folks catching up. Cheeseburger was A+ and only $6 after adding cheese and jalapenos. I had a great time there. Loads of fun. The whole bar sings with you, during Karaoke, so its great. Bartender was very fast and friendly. Atmosphere was slow at first, then picked up around 10. Good food. Drinks were a little expensive, please make plain soft drinks free for the designated drivers.
