Every food I tried here was amazing. Pho and kids menu chicken, and they have a vegan option for my wife. Staff are so kind. I love this place and keep doing well there business. My favorite pho is in TX.

Came in and waited to pick up a to go order. No one came up front to greet me for 10 minutes. During that time, I had plenty of time to observe how dirty the place was. Like absolutely filthy floors, congested behind the register, drink area looked pretty gross, and the worst by far is the ventilation system with obvious black mold. Didn t realize this place was so nasty. When the lady finally came out and brought me my food. I paid for it and left so I didn t seem rude. But I took that food and put a right into the dumpster. Absolutely could not risk food poisoning that might happen eating anything from this restaurant. You guys really need to do better about your sanitation and disinfection standards. I will be reporting this to the health department.

We decided to try a new place for pho. This place came up. We ordered two pho bowls and a marinated beef rice plate to go. We couldn t believe the flavor, the portion size, MY GOODNESS!! The flavor was amazing, it s a generous position especially when the size tends to shrank on Togo orders at other places. It was soooooo good!!! I can only imagine how great it ll taste for dine in .definitely will be our go to from now on! So glad we found this place and decided to try.

Came in sat down and ordered, everything was wonderful got my food they were arguably the best crab rangoons Id had in my life you can tell that they were homemade by hand it was awesome the pho was good but the issue came when my two-year-old and I needed to run to the restroom when my child and I went to the bathroom we noticed piles of what looks like rat poop which made me question how clean the entirety of the establishment was now the following day my family and I have had tummy problems not sure if theyre related but worth noting

Odd little place but this is definitely the BEST Phó I ve had in Texas in the last 8 years. Some of the items are overpriced in my opinion. The Phó is reasonable. I would suggest cleaning the bathroom, it s dirty. The light switch had dirty marks all over it, the rest of the bathroom is dark tones so it s difficult to see the dirt.

The person taking our order seemed bother that we were there ordering. The PHO was atrocious. Noodles were over cooked, flavorless. The broth was warm water steeped in God knows what. Honestly you are likely to find better PHO at dominos pizza. Dont waste you time here. Youd be better served through 30 bucks out the window and taking 10 bucks to quit trip for some discount sushi. Place is just gross.

I liked my dish! I got the simple marinated chicken on rice with garnish. I loved it. It was very simple, but exactly what I wanted. My husband liked his banh mi, but would go for regular pork next time, and not get it with this BBQ sauce that he said didnt really go perfectly with the rest of the meal. Why Im a little meh about this place is that I used the restroom and the light switch plate and back of the door were covered in grime. All they need to do is use some magic eraser and it should come up no problem, but it was a little off-putting.

We drove 30 mins there yesterday, had Pho, Bao, and Eggrolls. Pho soup was plain (water based MSG soup) and salty, definitely not real soup; Bao was dry and cold, Eggroll was freshly fried but over priced for two egg rolls. The entire dining area was full of cooking/grease fume and smelt very bad, we coughed very bad. Reception didn t care. No service. Bad experience. Over rated online review. We should have left.

We stopped in after shopping at IKEA. Service is somewhere between casual self serve and table service. I guess thats what they have to do these days to make it work. The food was great. This is an awesome place to eat. I love the consistency. I have been here several times and they have been great every single time. Its a cozy bistro style restaurant. The staff are the sweetest people there and have been nice to everyone in the shop. The quality goes even if you are ordering to go. Highly recommend. Very unfriendly cashier/server. She didnt even greet us just asked if we were going to be dining in or ordering to go all the way from the counter where she was sitting behind as soon as we walked in. You have to order and pay at the register which makes you feel like its a one and done thing even if youre seating in she wont be attentive. If thats the case you couldve let us get to the counter first before asking that. We ordered the kids beef pho and the b9 chicken and shrimp vermicelli noodle bowl. Kids pho came with no kind of veggies she said it would cost extra. My dish came with plenty of chicken and literally 3 small pieces of shrimp. For $12.50 there couldve been an equal amount of chicken and shrimp. Most likely wont be returning

BEST pho ive had. EVER! The plates make the serving feel small BUT they pack it with noodles and meat. Speaking of the meat, it was great. The brisket was incredibly tender, the steak was thinly sliced and very soft. Usually when I get steak pho, it can get very chewy and that was not the case here. Also the broth was amazing. the flavor was light and kinda refreshing, it didnt have a layer of oil that you may see with other places.

We decided to try a new Pho place and stopped at V-Nam Bistro. This is a place where one orders at the counter, pays and gets food brought to the table. That being said, the seating could be limited. I ordered shrimp summer roll and Pho with Steak and Brisket. The roll was good; the Phos broth was average but the brisket was excellent... We were even joking that the brisket tasted like was from Rudys BBQ . Mostly likely for my next visit, Ill stick to Brisket only Pho.

Best part of meal was the Vnam rolls. They were hot from the fryer and had a clean taste to them, not pasty from over worked filling, which can be the case. Service was pretty slow with one other table in the restaurant. We ordered pho and listed under specialty, hu tieu mi nuoc which has egg noodle and bbq pork. Unfortunately nothing to write home about. Pho noodles were broken to hand size length and became soggy a lot faster. The bean sprouts that came out with them were yellow and inedible.

Good flavor, but will not be returning. We dined in and found out that all the bowls/sauces/plates were all sticky... pretty gross. Not sure what the health rating is here.. We stopped by as we were in the area. Ordered bbq pork banh mi, pork and shrimp vermicelli, and P9 pho(pretty much everything pho). The internet was down or something and they said cash only. $8 Bbq pork bahn mi pretty expensive. First taste, freezer burn. Bad freezer burn Picked out the meat and the rest was mediocre. $12.5 pork and shrimp vermicelli was a bit salty, flavor was good. $11 pho with everything. Flavor was good. Total came out to be $35. Overall pricier than what Im used to. Main issue was cleanliness. If the all the foodware was sticky, Im wondering what their ethics are like in the kitchen.

We loved this place! Started with bao, which were as beautiful as they were delicious, and both got chicken and eggroll vermicelli bowls. It was phenomenal! Eggrolls packed with flavor and chicken perfectly cooked with a little bit of char from the grill. We left very satisfied and can t wait to go back!

Great local spot for Thai! This was my second visit and Ive tried the green curry with chicken and lemongrass noodle with chicken. Both were outstanding and delicious in their own way. For years I got banh mi at two places, by the MT Market on Lamar or the NgCafe in Pflugerville. Today NgCafe was closed when I went by and since this place is around the corner from my house I thought Id give it a try. First and foremost, whenever I go to an Asian restaurant and there is a grandma in the corner eating or something I know Im in the right kind of place. You see it more often in Chinatown so I was glad to see it here. The sandwiches were great. I ordered pork and chicken banh mi and my family and I agreed, they were delicious. The Vietnamese coffee was good too. I havent tried the pho yet but if the sandwiches are any indicator then Im sure it will be delicious. I hope this place can stay around for awhile. Really happy this place opened so close. So drive past the fast food places that are out front and get some really good food while supporting a local business.

Strongly recommend getting one of the summer rolls so you can try their peanut sauce...its fantastic! Limeaid is also really good, maybe a little too sweet, but still worth trying. This is my new go to Pho spot, and they have Bahn Mi! Be prepared to order way more than you plan to and eat until you are WAY over full. Everything we got was fantastic from the Pho Tai, to the Vietnamese Coffee, The special pork roll and the bahn mi. 100% Have to give this a shot!

Best Pho I have ever had. The broth is flavorful before you even add anything to it. The large portion gives you an abundance of noodles for $10! Something I judge pho on is the restaurant s chili oil this chili oil is spicy and flavorful at the same time. I get the rave reviews about the place.

This has become one of my favorite places to eat. The first time I ate there, I ordered pho and it was delicious. You know the broth is good when you dont have to add much to it. I added the chili since I like spice. The 2nd time we went, I ordered the pork bahn mi sandwich and it was really good. The bread was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. They didnt skimp on the pork and the pork added a lot of flavor. My husband had their beef vermicelli bowl and wow... it was so good. The beef was well seasoned and the flavors all meshed well together. My child had the kids meatball pho and it was filling for them. Thai tea and green Thai tea was good too. The green Thai tea has a floral taste, so if youre not into that, that drink may not be for you.

Inexpensive ($6.50) and not bad. My first try here looking for a Bahn Mi sandwich shop. Their French bread is crispy outside and soft inside, so thankfully someone got that right. The grilled pork for the sandwich was good, not full of fat like some other places, but a little under-seasoned for me. The veggies are fresh, but very lightly pickled (if at all). I also had an unsweetened Jasmine iced tea. They also have Thai Teas and with boba pearls is extra. Since the teas are pre-sweetened, I have to pass. Im sure its good as it is for those not having sugar issues. Overall, an okay experience. Ill have to come back and try something else like their pho.

I have know the owners for 8+ years and my wife and I have NEVER had a bad meal or bad service. This is their newest restaurant and their track record remains intact ! They crush it on every item on the list. Best Vietnamese food in the Austin area. I religiously get the vermicelli B3 w/ added shrimp and the v-nam roll which Im proud to say they experimented on me in its developmental stage....I never had its equal. Ive been in the wine and food industry for 30 yrs and have traveled extensively. When I do get to a big city, I try different vietnamese food places at every opportunity I get. V-Nam is among the best and most consistent places Ive tried...glad I live close only 20 mins away....I would drive 1+hrs if I had to. I know tastes vary but this place fits everything I like, if I could give 6+stars....I would.

Highly recommend eating at this new establishment. V-Nam is the better Vietnamese food choice around University. Their banh mi actually has pâté! The pho is so good (for reference we also think Pho Hong s pho is yummy, but V-Nam s meat is better quality). I really like their vermicelli and com bo nuong, marinated beef and rice dish. Egg rolls are stuffed nicely and fried real crisp. The coconut drink is served with slices of fresh coconut and a pick. We ve become regulars! When you come in, walk straight up to the cashier and place your order. It s seat yourself after that. The first-time-reviewer who gave 1 star and non-constructive feedback saying terrible service , without explaining what happened, is likely a nearby competitor.

So disappointed with the spring rolls. First, it was wrapped poorly. It looked like they didn t not put much effort into making it look neatly packed like how other authentic spring rolls are rolled. Second, they put a lot of lettuce in it which made it taste a bit bitter, because all you taste was lettuce. Thirdly, the peanut sauce doesn t taste as good as an authentic peanut sauce. Sadly, I didn t enjoy it and probably won t buy spring rolls from here again. The cashier was nice tho. P.S I m a huge fan of Vietnamese food and have a lot of viet friends so I know what authentic viet food and spring rolls taste like.
